We had an awful experience here. The sheets had yellow fluid stains on top of the comforter after the beds were freshly made. The cleaning person put my backpack on top of the stains to try to cover them up. Guest services also stated that they were out of replacement comforters. They refused to place a replacement sheet allegedly due to lack of staffing, and made us replace the sheets. The guest services person also falsely accused us as guests of causing the stains without any basis. The room smelled awful like mold and was excessively humid. Bathroom door didnt close.

The main lobby was inviting and clean. Our room at first look was clean, floors and bedding was clean, towels were clean but worn. The tub was old and caulking around the shower enclosure was peeling. The room was very humid. The coffee at breakfast was good but that was it. The biscuits were hard, the eggs were ok. We stayed here during a very disappointing gator game so it just reinforced that we paid way too much for a mediocre hotel. But that’s what you get on a game weekend.

The nighttime manager here was complete garbage. The attitude was horrific and the way that he talked to people surprises me that he even has a job, especially in hospitality or customer service. There are so many hotels in the same area. They’re all priced the same to have to deal with some of these crappy attitude from start to finish tells me I won’t be back here again.

Stayed 2 nights

This is my second stay in the past two months. The first time I was there, it seems like they were having an air conditioning issue in the hotel bc on my floor alone they were running dehumidifiers in some of the room and the hallways. You could barely sleep at night and I would wake up with wet hair even though I went to bed with dry hair. It was so muggy you could barely breathe. Fine I understand it, air conditioning issues. I was just there this weekend (5/6 weeks later) I would think they would have fixed the problem. This time is was much worse. There was mold all over the room and walls and furniture- green and black mold. And here’s the kicker- my husband woke up in the middle of the night to a roach literally crawling on him in bed. He killed it and left the evidence on the floor for the housekeepers to deal with. We took a picture but I’ll spare you the image. I would not recommend a stay here not unless you love roaches and an unhealthy environment. Each time we came downstairs to speak to someone there was a line and quite frankly we were on a time crunch with it being family weekend. So could my issues be resolved? I don’t think so either as the hotel was completely booked out.
