Our stay at The Laureate was absolutely awesome and exceeded all my expectations. Check-in was incredibly smooth and the on-site parking was very easy and convenient. Property was nice and room was spacious. Had a nice balcony with a view. Didn’t use the pool but it was a nice set up. Parking was easy. Property is about 1.5 miles from the touristy area. They offer no shuttle so you have to drive or Uber, but it’s also nice that it’s away and quieter. Biggest drawback is one slow, fairly small elevator for the whole building. At checkout it was a line on each floor waiting to get out

The heated pool was nice. Bottled water and afternoon lemonade and cookies. Turn down service. Some covered parking. Only 1 slow elevator. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Walked around in bare feet and went out on the balcony. My feet were dirty when I got in the shower. Plenty of towels. Only had a convenience shop in the lobby for food and drinks.

We had a great experience at this property. The staff members were kind and attentive. This property has an ocean view but you can’t get down to the water. We were able to pool hop to their sister hotel which was only a mile down the road. That pool had a bar, jacuzzi, and fun games for the kids.

Most of the room seemed pretty clean. The floors I think were mopped with muddy water. They didn't look bad but as soon as you walked across them from the bathroom to the common area, your feet were filthy. Pool Waters were cloudy. Waters and drinks were stocked adequately along with sufficient towels.

Our room was 212. It was infested with cockroach’s. The first day I saw one, kill it and didn’t think much about it. The next day it like the whole nest came out. They were every where. I did complain to the manager. She did send her staff to clean our room and spray it. But the next day we woke up there were more. At this point we settle in already and didn’t feel like switching room. But that’s not it. I also complain about the drilling they were doing early morning. She told me it wasn’t that early and the crew doesn’t start until 9 am. ( which is a lie) at that time, I didn’t look at the time so I didn’t have nothing to say. But the next day when they start drilling I look at the time and it was only 7:30 am. I mean we on vacation and we want to sleep in a little. Overall it a little pricey for all the problems we have. Other than that, the view from our room was great!

Our first time staying in Key West and I chose The Laureate because of other reviews and by what it looked like. They upgraded us without asking (probably because they did not have the room I reserved) but that worked out wonderfully because we really needed the extra space. The rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms were super nice. The only reason for a 4-star is the showers had some hair and the grout needs to be cleaned but otherwise super clean. Definitly would stay there again.

Hello, and thank you for checking in. My family and I truly had a great time in Key West, and we appreciate you asking. I do want to share that we had two unpleasant encounters with the front desk staff member who was there this morning. Her approach was very dry and she did not seem eager to assist, even with simple requests such as condiments for our room. This morning we also notified her about roaches in our room, and there was no apology or empathy about the situation or about the food that was ruined as a result. Her only response was, “I will let maintenance know.” Because of this, our overall rating is a e. Outside of those issues, the room and hotel were clean, the housekeeping team was polite and friendly, and the check-in staff was very professional, even addressing me appropriately as Dr. Assad and Mrs. The front desk checkout staff would benefit from customer-service training, as this would significantly elevate the guest experience. Thank you again for reaching out.

Pros: The room is decent - nice decor, quality bedding, low noise from neighboring rooms. Short distance to airport and to Mallory Square. Cons: We paid for full ocean view but got partial ocean view. The issue with that is that they are priced differently- full ocean view is more expensive than partial ocean view. Buyer be ware! Front desk personnel said other customers have made similar complaints and they are aware but "it is company policy". Complimentary cookies taste yummy but they hide the cookies. They are strategically available after customer checkout time and customers are not told by front desk that cookies are available.

Very nice property! I thought it was across from a beach but no beach! Our ocean view was over looking a roof top of lobby, would of preferred looking at the pool. Will remember for next time. Nice stay.

This was the best hotel we’ve stayed at in years. Huge, spotless, bright, great beds and pillows. All the rooms had an ocean view. They gave us a free upgrade to a two story unit. It wasn’t right down town but getting to Duval street or other places was 10-12 minutes. Perfect.

Our stay at The Laureate Key West was so relaxing and spacious. We chose a 3 bedroom (yes, 3 bedroom) suite. We had two King rooms and one double queen room, as well as a full living area. Having three full bathrooms was definitely worth it! 😎 We also enjoyed a full kitchen with complimentary Keurig coffee, bottled water, and a full size fridge. It's not located in the heart of the historic district but a quick drive/golf cart ride away. Very clean and reasonably priced, too.

The accommodation were exactly as pictured and very clean. The advertised ocean view was misleading as all the rooms on the first floor are pool view rooms, the ocean is not visible. I was traveling with a pet and paid the $200 pet but none if the advertised amenities were provided. The front office staff was very friendly and tried to accommodate but nothing was available.

The front desk receptionist that checked us in was very unfriendly. The bathroom was not stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner dispensers in the shower. No lotion. However, the room, facilities, parking, and other staff were all excellent. I suggest that you install the shower with the dispensers that most other hotels are using. They are very nice. Overall, thank you for a great experience.

The room itself was beautiful with fantastic facilities but this is where the good review stops. The staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. I didn't get the view that I paid for. I paid for an Ocean View Deluxe Suite and the view that I got was completely obstructed of which the staff didn't care about when I advised that I was unhappy, the response I got was 'write a review about it'. What is the point in having a full ocean view and partial ocean view available to book if you are not going to honour what people pay for.

The staff at the Front desk was not willing to help us. Since my first call before arrive I had that feeling, and being there was a confirmation. However the hotel is OK, Well located. The pool is really cool. It's well maintaned and it's a yes to recommend to others.

The staff is absolutely the best I have met. They look after you and always try to ensure your stay is pleasant. They follow up on you and really make you noticed. The condition of the rooms are better than what I expected and the beds was really comfortable. The views from the rooms is really nice. If you go for the King suite you have balconys in two directions. (We got a free upgrade to King suite thank you). The kitchen do have what you would expect and was in good condition. The property has good parking space and also a little shop in the reception area where you can buy drinks etc. My family was very satisfied with our stay. The only think I can think of complaining about is the elevator. It is pretty slow but this is a small bagatelle really. There are some noise from the highway next to the hotel but this was expected as we very well knew the location before choosing the hotel. We had a fantastic stay!.

We stayed here in a suite for a week. The room was decorated very nicely with good amenities. The location of the hotel was convenient (a 2 mile walk or 5 min drive to old town and close to grocery stores and restaurants). The property was well cared for and the area was nice. A downside is while you have a nice ocean view, the hotel is on a main road and it is noisy! However I loved the sidewalk across the street that ran along the water for walks.

I was expecting a much better place for $500 per night. The internet photos made one think you will be right on the beach. Far from it. The balcony is back through the bedroom and you look over Roosevelt Blvd, probably the busiest and noisiest road in Key West, out to the Gulf. It is several miles from old town so Uber is the best mode to get around. Top it off they charged us an extra $9 per day for internet access. That's cheap in my view.

This was a good hotel. I found it to be over-priced for what you get. The outdoor pool was very small. The parking was a bit small as well, but enough parking for everyone. The view of the water was nice, and the balcony did have enough space for two people to enjoy breakfast. The Publix only 1 mile away (literally) was very convenient! This hotel is also fairly far from "downtown" (over 4 miles), which for the price would have booked something closer. Overall a pleasant experience, but I did expect more.

Staff was night. For the price of this hotel there is nothing. Only a pool that’s small & always packed. Has a balcony but can’t smoke vapes or cigarette out of it. I feel like for the 350 i paid FOR ONE NIGHT the least they can let us do is smoke vape outside the balcony. The only reason i got this hotel is because online it shows a different pool. It shows “ocean view” which there is no view of no ocean. It showed a tiki bar with a restaurant AND NOTHING. It’s all their sister facilty having all those amenities & this one having nothing at all. The regret i have on spend that much for this hotel when the Marriott is cheaper & offers EVERYTHING and beautiful. Horrible never again

Hotel was great, it was very nice, clean, and pretty close to attractions. We had plenty of space for 5 people, the rooms had a kitchen with stove top, dishwasher, and fridge. This allowed us to eat breakfast and lunch in the hotel, so we could save money for extra outings during our trip. We spent each night at the pool, swimming, playing ping pong, and just relaxing! Would definitely stay here next time if I get down to Key West again.

This property is marketed as a resort with resort fee. There is no breakfast and no restaurant. Obviously no room service. Our suite was very nice, spacious and well equipped with cooking utensils etc. Worse was that weather became very cold with stormy winds but the A/C system has no heating ! Only cooling. They did not have comforters and have us extra cotton “blankets”. My wife could not sleep that night. The location is good. For breakfast you have to drive 10-15 minutes unless you are contended with the gas station sandwich and coffee or a fast food chain. We did not use the pool so can’t comment.

The 1 bedroom apartment was beautifully decorated n very comfortable n clean. The front desk very nice. The only complaint is that it’s on the main highway. So the pool is very noisy with the highway traffic. And it’s more like a renovated boutique motel with great rooms. It’s gd value for what u get. No restaurant at hotel so for bkfast etc is more problematic if u dont want to drive or uber. But hotels in old town are almost double the price so uber it is lol
