Beautiful property, loved everything except the pools were very warm like bath water....pools need a chiller to cool the hot day down. Have stayed at other places and the pools are cool. Don't like the valet parking if 35 a day even if you never have them get your car

This is a beautiful hotel with 4 pools and a sandy area with mangroves surrounding it. The partial water view is worth it as it has a quiet porch or balcony to be outside overlooking the canal.

We were received with sparkling wine upon check in. Such a beautiful hotel, very large suite with a living room and kitchen. There were also two great balconies to relax. I really enjoyed the space. The outdoor area had 4 swimming pools and a beautiful waterfront to watch the sunset. It was very romantic for us. The hotel offered a shuttle to the beach and city center which was very convenient. I would recommend and definitely come back.

The property is very tranquil and beautiful! We enjoyed the option of 4 different pools. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and good size. Housekeeping came daily which is a rarity. It’s very easy to get an Uber wherever you need to go so no need for a rental car. Hotel offers a shuttle to Duval St but only until 4:30.

Good resort away from the main tourist area. Newer facility with lovely grounds, pools… stay here if you don’t mind using Uber or driving into the main area…they do also have a free shuttle

We stayed in the sea view villa which was very nice. A few things that could make the experience better - the shower head was poorly designed, the complementary shuttle to the old town could run later instead of finishing at 4.30pm, out of the 4 pools - 3 of them would close at 6pm so we had no time to use them after sightseeing. Valet parking was expensive and should be included in the rate.

Had trash on my porch when I got there. Still there the next day, called to have them come get it and it sat another day before they got it. My room was right by the parking lot, force you to pay valet, so I had to drive to valet, then walk all the way to the back of the place in the pouring rain instead of parking myself right by my room and then walk back up to valet just for them to bring me my car that I can see from my room. Don’t bother paying the extra money for the water front room as you can’t see the water past the mangroves and the beach. $51 daily resort fee plus $30 daily valet. Plus the price you pay online. I will give one of the bartenders props on his excellent drink making skills.

We stayed for four nights and experienced several issues during our visit. Housekeeping was not provided unless requested, and when we did request it, it was unavailable. As a result, we had to take out the trash ourselves and retrieve new towels from a cart, as instructed by someone else. The bathroom faucet was loose, and the shower water had extreme temperature fluctuations, being either too hot or too cold, with no comfortable in-between. Our guestroom faced the back of the pool restaurant, where there was a terrible odor and frequent water flooding, which produced a very unpleasant smell. Parking was only available through valet service at $30 per day plus taxes, but the valet staff were friendly and attentive. The pools were also dirty in some corners. It seems that the resort may have been in good condition in the past, but it now requires significant improvements. It’s disappointing because it has the potential to be a really nice place. I visit Key West every year with my family, but I will not be staying at this hotel again. The hotel is advertised as a luxury destination, but the reality does not match the images depicted on their Instagram page or the website.

I didn’t receive any vip access that it said I would get, front desk lady was so nice to the people in front of me giving them champagne asking if the needed help to their room then just handed me keys and said your rooms around the corner. Bedding was dirty, bathroom was still dirty not the greatest for how much I spent but outside property is very pretty so I’ll give them that!

Location was ok if you did not want to be downtown. Next time we will stay in downtown Key West. The rooms had a musty smell. Had to change rooms due to musty smell. The second room was better but still had the same issue. Would not go back to that location.

The cafe’s food was so-so. The server, Ramona, was amazing. Loved her. The rooms were spacious and quiet, but the beds were hard and the pillows were not comfortable. There were several pools to choose from. Loved all the chickens and kitties that were around. Love that the staff was so friendly. Would stay here again.

I would highly rate the grounds and pools as very nice and peaceful. The room we stayed in was a little tattered and older than the pictures showed online and the furniture was quite literally falling apart. The pillows were the worst I’ve ever used at a hotel.

The hotel was nice and location was pretty convenient. I had wanted to be further in the downtown older area (this place is apparently just on that edge). They do have a shuttle that takes you back and forth though so that was nice. The windows on the top floor definitely need to be cleaned bc we could hardly see out for our ocean view. There were several pools and they were great to cool off in each day.

What a charming hotel this is. We found everything very accessible. Room exceptionally large. Large bathroom, sliding door access with walk in shower (the only thing we found that there was no handle on the inside of the sliding door to the bathroom?). Lovely L’Occitane toiletries. Only a coffee machine in the room (as we are from UK we prefer tea in the morning, however we did take a kettle & tea bags with us as we travelled from Kissimmee just for 2 nights). Bed very comfortable and large as you expect in US. Small cupboard to hang clothes with an ironing board & iron supplied. Fridge & microwave in room. No safe in room. We were opposite one of the 4 pools but heard no noise, it was quiet everywhere. Lift from outside to the room ( there were a few steps up to the room) right next to it and takes you to opposite your room door at the front. Rear door access to the pool/bar area. At the pool sunscreen was supplied as was iced water. Bar area clean. The Grove restaurant was also outside, small but quite intimate. The only food we ate here was a pizza but it has to be said was one of the best tasting pizzas we have had. We did not eat breakfast or lunch at the hotel so cannot comment on that. My only issue outside at the bar area was we did get bitten by mosquitos and also noticed we sustained bites overnight in bed also. Unsure how often areas/rooms are sprayed? We generally stay in 5* hotels, we have vacationed all over the world and would definitely return here.

On the positive side, the hotel grounds are lovely and the rooms are very spacious. Good drinks at the bar and the sunset hammocks are a nice feature. The staff was also attentive and friendly. On the downside, we didn’t love the area around the hotel - it’s off a busy four lane road that made it quite noisy if we were on the balcony and didn’t really offer anything to do near the hotel. Ubers were easy but added up. The rooms could also use some updating. Finally, while we knew the pools were small, they were smaller than anticipated and very warm - almost like hot tubs.

The location is great. I had a room on the 1st floor with a porch that led out to a sand beach & looked out at the water. Felt like my own little cottage in Key West. Sunset views from the rear of the hotel on the beach were great. Amenities & staff were very good. Proximity to stores, downtown & beaches is great. Would definitely recommend & return.

Upscale property away from the Duval bars. We booked a waterfront suite which was very spacious. This suite is on the second floor and provides a great view including sunsets.However it requires climbing up a steep set of stairs. I believe all units have at least four or five stairs. The property has the feel of a colonial town in the Bahamas. The staff are friendly. Room was cleaned and bottles of water replenished daily. We had breakfast a number of days. There is a nearby crepe restaurant and a bagel deli, as well as a Dennys. We had several dinners. The food was good but the entrees limited. We were told that a new menu was being added the day we were scheduled to leave. There is a shuttle to Smathers Beach and Duvall Street. We did not rent a car. Ubers were plentiful and arrived within two or three minutes. There were four pools and loungers on the sand areas. It never felt too crowded. We loved our stay and give the Parrot Key a solid 5 star.

This was my second time staying at the Parrot Key Resort. My husband and I had a partial water view king room on the ground floor. We enjoyed our stay. The only negatives I had was that the shower handle wasn't the same as the water temperature. It was either scalding or freezing and would keep changing no matter where the handle faced. The water pressure was also quite sad. Showering was an unpleasant experience. Other than a few outlets that didn't work, (had to move the coffee maker to another location) we were very happy with housekeeping. They do an amazing job and work very hard. I would stay again, but make sure our room had a working shower first.

Service front desk definitely the worst, the front desk staff was confused. Nobody helped eita our lugged, no dou indicares our room, nobody presented the room. Well the worst disappointment was the breakfast , we paid at the reservation, but the serverd 3 itens , my gosh please do not include something like that ……. Terrible experience

From start to finish everything about parrot Key hotels and resorts was excellent! The rooms were clean with extra details and little touches that made it an extraordinary stay. The views from the waterfront room was jaw-dropping. The service was professional and personable. The only place I will ever stay when I'm in Key West.

We had a wonderful stay at Parrots Key. The grounds and sunsets were amazing. There was a great waitress at the pool area that made our evening wonderful for two nights. The attendant at the front desk was friendly and helpful with our rooms. Making sure we were close together. The bellhop carried all of our luggage up the stairs with a smile on his face. The only hiccup was the valet attendant’s they were not friendly at all. With the amount to park this was disappointing. One man threw my daughter keys at her instead of handing them over.

Upon arrival the front desk clerk wasn\'t exactly the friendliest. Check in /out times are really inconvenient and honestly it is a rip off. They want to check in at 4:00pm and check out by 11:00. No courteous help to carry your baggage to your room. For the price it really is lacking. Definitely would not return. Had an old mildewy smell.They charge you a weird hotel fee ($70 per day for what??) and also $25 per night to park your car. They charge you twice basically, the reservation and fake fees. Restaurant bar completely lacking. We ordered a basic burger they didn\'t have it. Ordered a chicken sandwich they didn\'t have it. Finally the waiter/bar tender recommended the beef tacos. They were not edible. Old meat saturated in salt. The waiter himself agreed once he tasted it. Simply a complete disappointment after another.. The place feels "small", old and weathered down. No real value.

The property is beautiful. Marcus, an attendant at the pool/dining area was fanTAStic. Knowledgeable, gracious, and congenial. Your front desk staff though, left a lot to be desired. It was a bit chaotic, which is to be expected at check-in. But the woman (with lots of jewelry, for lack of a better way to describe her) was quite curt. Didn’t seem happy to be there. It was as though taking care of our checkin was doing us a big favor. Later in the week, my husband had another encounter with her. He overheard her complaining to a guest that she “was hourly”, as if that meant something.

Great location. Property offers a resort atmosphere. Love the landscaping and porches with great vibe/music. Staff is very friendly. Shuttles available to Duvall and the beach. Ricky, the shuttle driver is an absolute ROCK STAR!! On site accommodations for all adventure needs. Rooms are large and beds are very comfortable. Will be staying here again.

Staff was excellent. Hotel was a little more dated than I expected but staff worked with me and made sure that I was happy with my stay! I will definitely return but next time bring the whole family. I loved that this hotel was situated outside of the main Duvall area (hustle and bustle) allowed me and my son to come back to a quiet, safe and peaceful abode. Loved that they had more than one pool area and separate pool area for adults. Staff was hands down the best!!

The location of this property is right next to a Home Depot. They share the same parking lot. For a per night cost as this hotel is, that was unexpected and disappointing. The hotel is nice but worn. It needs some love. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, not a bad experience but certainly not worth the money.

The pools were great, but there was never any poolside service, it took forever to get drinks and food at the bar. The phone in our room didn't work to call out for room service or bell service. The floors were disgusting, my childs socks were black after a few minutes of walking around the unit. Units are outdated. Room wasn't ready at check-in, no VIP service, the drink that was included wasn't ever offered to us at check-in even though they were handing it out to everyone, so clearly not a VIP perk. My Marriott status was never acknowledged or appreciated. You are in the same parking lot as the Home Depot and CVS, which is strange. I would pick a different destination in the keys in the future.

Cool looking place online. Some of the staff were really nice, others were not so much. The floors looked okay at a glance but after walking around barefoot in the room for 10 minutes my feet were black. Do not order the pizza. It may say artisan, but it does not taste artisan. The stay is way too expensive for what you get.

The lovely foliage around all the villas was impressive and comfortable. The 4 pools in the middle of the sleeping units made pool side time luxurious - it felt very personal. We did find the restaurant offerings a little weak and really expensive. There are value eating places across the street so it worked great for us. They could downscale their eating to a bar and grill - that would make it more useable for us. It seemed everyone went out for evening dining so I'm not sure what would be best. It was a lovely place with a sunset view!!

Loved our stay. Beautiful area & scenery. Cleaning crew was great except our weekend person, took part of dirty linens & made bed. However, didn’t leave clean ones. Left some there. Had to call housekeeping to get clean towels. The others were great! Plenty of drinks if you drink, very limited menu if you stay awhile. You can order delivery from DoorDash. Our waitress was wonderful. Went for breakfast & Gayle forgot to put our order in! We waited 1.5 hours for our food! Should have walked out, but being diabetic, I needed food! When it came, eggs were burnt, it wasn’t good & we ended up eating outside of resort. They need to expand their menu. All in all I highly recommend this place & I will definitely go back. Just a few lazy people until the boss lady appeared! The shuttle is big plus!

Beautiful location! Very lush vegetation and great view of the sunset. Room was very nice and the beds had comfortable sheets and pillows. Had some miscommunications with valet but the front desk and concierge were very helpful. There’s a shuttle into town that’s very convenient and the room service was quick and delicious.
