Food and drinks were the only flaw I saw. Quite pricey, but they were good.

To be honest for the price I paid, I expected more. I know its Key West and everything is expensive but this resort was in general 'just average'. The staff were ok, sometimes a bit rude. The facilities were a bit run down, housekeeping didn't show for 3 days, internet was down for a while and it was noisy during the night. However the main let down was the beach - we couldnt go on it for the duration of our stay (nearly a week) because of the awful smell caused by the sargassum. Please be aware of this if booking to go during the summer, it happens every year. I was upset because i paid to be near a beautiful beach that i couldnt use. However despite all those things, we had a wonderful time and would come back, but not to Margaritaville.

This is our second time at Margaritaville! The real positive to this property is its staff! Always helpful and engaging! Great food and the rooms are comfortable. Be aware of food in the rooms this time of year and the tiny red ants will take advantage of any and everything! Nature always wins! Do your research for cart and scooter rentals, the hotel can and will make it easier for you, but it may be the best price or convenient option! Tip the bartenders and you’ll never have a bad day or drink!
