Clean room. Great staff and the jacuzzi was relaxing

Loved the hot tub and how friendly the person was at the front desk. Our room was so nice and comfortable. loved the location as we could walk to shopping and dinner, Breakfast was good and service person so nice.

Breakfast was good, pool and hot tub were great. We loved the area and the pool and hit tub. They are in desperate need of new mattresses. The main ac was in our room and very loud. They need to have ducts and ac serviced. The air was very moldy/ musty smelling, and wreaked of old cigarette smoke. They also need water filtration system. The sulfur smell and taste of the Tampa water is horrible.

This is a standard short stay hotel. Nothing exceptional and nothing disgusting. We were in town for a funeral with my 96 year old Grandmother so the expectations were high,. It took a lot of research to choose a site that she would be comfortable in. Arrival was fine, Natasia was great. Facility appearance was fine, smelled fine, was neat and tidy. The trouble began in the room. The tub looked stained and had cracks along the sides, which we accepted...it isn\'t a new hotel. However, the shower would not drain and we soon realized what we thought was stains was residue from the non draining tub. Reported issue, got bathroom cleaned but the tub did not drain still. The toilet was stopped up as well. Reported issue and they came back to fix that. When we came back from dinner and the elevator did not work. They were able to restart it. The following day the elevator continued to not work on and off for the entire day. With a 96 year old, this was a challenge. Tuesday was wonderful as she was able to relocate my Grandmother to a room on the first floor so this didn\'t continue to affect her. My husband and I weren\'t so lucky. Breakfast was terrible, the woman that was "working" in that area did a less than half-ass job at stocking and keeping the area clean. There were consistently no dishes to use and the food was obviously OLD. By day two we abandoned hope of it getting better and got breakfast at First Watch (highly recommend).

We booked a stay as we were coming into town for a softball game the following day. We were greeted by staff very friendly, clean super cute. You can tell they really take time and effort into their hotel. Tons of Christmas decorations, that were very tastefully displayed. The pool and hot tub area was very nice. We did enjoy sitting in the hot tub for about 30 minutes after a long day was very nice. It’s a great location. Lots of little restaurants right around their parking was very secure and safe the rooms were very clean well stopped, and all their employees were extremely accommodating. If we are ever in the area we will definitely be staying with them again.

There were little red stains on the drawer handle , didn’t look so clean but we had already booked and arrived to our room like 1:30 in the morning

Waited at front door for 10 minutes as desk clerk was in bathroom. Ned and pillows are not comfortable. Dirty wash cloth on shower rod.

I had bugs in my room and 2 bits left red marks on my arm seen bugs in bathroom wasn’t offering cleaning service room didn’t get cleaned at all the whole stay

The property was clean, breakfast was fresh. Rooms were clean. Very little room between bed and tv/dresser, to get by.

Very nice homey room. I travel a lot to Lakeland for work. This was my 1st stay there. It will definitely be where I stay from now on.

Convenient to dining. Room was too close to the highway which was noisy. Pull out bed was not comfortable for a room costing $275 a night.

Room is top quality. We were early for check in and they upgraded so we could check in immediately. Staff unbelievably friendly and helpful!!

Kitchen, living room what else would you need.

Our room was as expected. I would say that the shower although clean, was very dated. The sheets for the pull-out sofa should have included a top sheet as the blanket was not cotton, so it was itchy. The closet did not have any hangers, so our coats were left on the chairs.

Unable to check-in until almost 80minutes after check-in time (4:20pm) ... when asking for an upgrade to make good for this problem we were told we could pay to upgrade. Not acceptable for excellent customer service, in my opinion. Hotel was just average but for a premium price.

My husband and I actually did not "stay" at the hotel. I booked a suite for us on July 1, 2024 for a one-night stay on July 9, 2024. On July 8 I pre-checked in online and on July 9th we arrived at the hotel at 3:40pm. Upon arrival we were advised that they had "overbooked" and therefore no room was available for us. At no point in time between July 1st until the time we arrived in the hotel at 3:40pm were we notified that no room was available to us. Very disgraceful.

Front desk clerk Tuesday was really nice and helpful and not to mention resourceful.

The staff here were the best we have had in years. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great as well - unit was clean and overall property was as described.

Tuesday provided phenomenal customer service. She had been a long time employee and definitely models professionalism and the mission of Marriott. Residence Inn is certainly a home away from home.

Stayed 2 weeks as a wandering (senior) snowbird. Many attractions in Lakeland, this hotel was well located. Breakfast offerings were slim and meh. Located adjacent to a walkable mall with many good restaurants.
