Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa

Outdated room, horrible customer service, phone system were down. Couldn’t communicate with front desk, house keeping and room service. Hotel didn’t provide slippers, smelly bathroom. Big No to this so called resort

This hotel feels antiquated across the board—rooms, amenities, and service all leave much to be desired. For the rate we paid, exceeding $600 USD a night, we could have easily secured superior accommodations and service at a more modest establishment. The phone lines were out of order, making it impossible to reach the front desk or housekeeping, and the bathrooms had unpleasant odors. When we ordered breakfast, it arrived in paper bags with flimsy plastic cutlery. I cannot recommend this hotel at all.

Staff were the worst in 30 years of staying at Marriotts. My arrival was going to be delayed, so I called the property to make certain they knew and would hold the room. It took no less than 12 calls over several hours to get anyone to pick up the phone. When they finally did answer the manager half heartedly said “sorry we had a big wedding.” WOW. Better customer service at roadside motel. This brand is not what it used to be - avoid at all costs.

Love this classy resort!

The spa was wonderful. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it.
