Residence Inn by Marriott West Palm Beach

The room was clean and very spacious for the price. The pool was under renovation which was not disclosed at booking. My room was next to the fire pit area which was also off the hallway from lobby Sina bit noisy. The exit door at the end of the hall was not secured and anyone could come or go into the rooms hallway. I would suggest booking on the second floor just in case. The breakfast was very generous and the staff were very attentive.

My wife and I stayed one-night at the hotel. The recepitionist was friendly upon arrival and gave us a smooth checkin experience. The pool was okay. It looked a little dirty with bugs and sticks and all, but it wasn't the worst. The room was homey like a studio apartment. Breakfast was decent. Pancakes were hard, the scrambled eggs were okay. The pork sausages were the only great thing from the menu. It was overall a good stay for someone that needs a place to stay whether for work or for an event.

Elevator was down, carrying items up flights of stairs was a hassle.

After contacting Expedia, they were able to find a “spare” crib, but it was an inconvenience that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. The parking situation was even worse. There was no available parking when we arrived, as multiple guests had taken up several spots. A truck with a boat occupied 9 spots, and a minivan with a trailer took 5. Despite the hotel being fully booked for the weekend, they allowed these guests to take up 16 spots between them. My husband had to stay in the car until 5:30 a.m. when someone finally left. The front desk staff was unhelpful, and when we asked for a solution, they simply suggested parking in illegal spots—though there were signs everywhere warning us to park at our own risk. Once we finally made it to our room, the situation didn’t improve. The shower was filthy, with hair left behind from previous guests. To make matters worse, two of the pillows smelled as though they hadn’t been washed before our arrival. Overall, our stay was frustrating, and we won’t be returning to this hotel in the future. There were too many issues that could have easily been avoided with better communication, management, and cleanliness.

Property wasnt bad. The only complaint i have is that we were charged $12 daily for parking. Although we had paid for a room. I've never heard of this and for that reason I wont stay again.

The staff was great from Collin at the front night desk… Breakfast staff singing as changing out food… Shawn at checkout and Daniel the GM. The cleaning staff cleaned our room every other day and full cleans every three days. They even do the dishes. The location is not in the best area but convenient to the Highway, gas station, fast food, Walmart if that’s what your looking for. There is a $12 a day parking fee just to be aware. I have my construction stay stay here for over two weeks and I would recommend this property. Thanks Marriott residence inn for a great stay!

We lived the fire pit and bbq on the property.. also enjoyed the heated pool . The room with the kitchenette was great, came with everything we needed . Stores were all super close. Loved laundry onsite . Would definitely return!

Overall very nice place. My only issue is paying for parking daily. Anyone could park there, no decal or placard given to note we were paying guests (although the hotel information said there would be one.) I resent paying a premium for a room and then tacking on parking fees. I know this is not the only hotel that does this, I still resent it.

There where thousands of what we call “piss ants” all over the room tables bathroom, floors ,couch s , I left after I put my soda down to look around the room, I came over to my soda , it had groups of ants on it, couldn’t have been 2 minutes

Room is not clean. Smelled upon entry like mildew. Food smeared on side of fridge and in microwave, hair on bath towel, barely any towels. Bed and couch are hard and have deep depressed areas making it uncomfortable to sit and sleep. Called morning to ask for late check out by 2 hours and told I needed to call the night before. Thet don’t tell you that. Told only for gold members or higher. Even though I am gold guy then tells me I’m too new a member to do it. Between the dirty room, bugs, horrible bed and couch never again. Likely taking my business elsewhere as Marriott’s are so hit and miss across the country it’s unacceptable for what they charge on top of poor customer service this stay. This has done it for me. Too many other options out here for the sane or a few dollars more. Avoid this dump. Other reviewers are either paid lying or have no standards.

The bathroom wasn’t its cleanest, someone had urinated in the toilet and didn’t flush it , there was no toilet paper , and no wash rags and hair on the sheets ….

Very dirt and smell bad… don’t recomend

Property is becoming dated but is overall is nice. The doors open and close loudly and since the hotel is pet friendly that means a lot of noise. Our room could have used a new carpet. Probably over shampooing from pets. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Check in was quick and easy, room was clean. Staff was friendly. The room air conditioner was extremely noisy. Had to use ear plugs, but could still hear it. Not good for falling asleep.

The door didn’t close properly. Had to bang it closed every time I left the room. Rey annoying and loud. Got on my nerves very bad. Front desk people were very helpful checking in and when I was leaving. Thank you Orlando

Was not prior to check in about these conditions so could go another hotel . But had after check and went room find nothing was available. What made things wost after two day not had change with apology. No was avaialbe offer me any help on at least compensation . Or refund as point want work for me .

Clean but need to update some of the furnitures and bathrooms

I booked and paid for a king room but received a room with a double bed. It was very small & hard but it was late and didn’t feel like moving all my stuff to move to a different room. Me & my husband were uncomfortably crowded all night long.

From the time of checking in, the young lady at the front desk made mom and I feel welcomed and was very helpful. I would give her 10 stars if it was possible.

Staff were helpful even before we checked in. Clearly communicated and answered all queries. At check in and after the service would great. We'll be back!

Great location, but decrepid and run down hotel with a very rude front desk staff. They could not solve even the most minor complaints from their guests, because they did not even try!

The staff was wonderful and very warm and friendly! They all made us feel welcome and at home. Special shout out to Connor, Yesenia, Orlando and Sandra who all provided excellent customer service!

Very nice hotel and Orlando was wonderful and very accommodating. We called and asked if we could have the first available room since we were driving in from out of town to attend a wedding that started at 3 and we needed to get dressed. Orlando made sure we had a room available when we arrived at 1:30. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Definitely recommend.

I stayed here for work and this hotel ripped me off. They charged me $150.00 per pet when I don't have pets and if I had a dog I wouldn't take it to stay in a hotel for work since I work 10 hours a day. I called the hotel and they told me that they were not going to solve it in a very rude way. I called Mariot customer service since I am a member, they took my complaint twice and did nothing and never responded either. This hotel practically stole $150.00 from me for a dog I didn't bring and don't even have. I don't recommend it to anyone because they scam you and don't respond.

The hotel is in a very central location to attractions and outlet mall. The front desk staff was very professional. I got in early and Orlando was able to check me in without any problems.

Two things - wish it was in a more walkable area And We were there 8 nights. Hotel policy is to clean the room every 3rd day or on request. They didn’t clean on Day 3. We asked for them to clean on day 4 and day 5. On day 5 we had to take our full garbage pails to the front desk. They finally cleaned on day 6. Disappointing. On the positive - they do free breakfast and it’s very good. The little lady who runs it is great. Very sweet and a hard worker.

No maid service in 4 days, AND, poor food choices for breakfast on 3 of the 4 days Very disappointing I will not return to any. Inn

The front desk clerk when we checked in was fantastic and the breakfast attendant was amazing. The room was clean and cool with everything we needed. Don't park under the trees though, we found out that the iguanas must have a racket going with the local car washes because our car was covered with iguana mess😂

The breakfast was minimal. They were out of everything. The staff indicated their supply truck had not come in. They could've made the guests aware of this, but failed to do so.

The property itself was clean and staff was friendly. But for breakfast the 3 days I was there, they had run out of eggs, French toast and milk at one point. The chef said she was busy making the food but 30 min later and still no replacement. Coffee was burnt and again no milk or half and half
