Three were break-ins to three cars in the garage. One owned by my client (in valet) who made me aware of this after I checked in and had self parked. The hotel staff was not overly concerned. After some consideration and the fact the my car is not yet 6 months old I switched hotels. I had prepaid and had no recourse. I have stayed at the Westin in downtown Cleveland before - a fact I had forgotten but when I walked in I recalled that I was unimpressed the first time. I won’t stay there again.

Loved the setting . Nice everything . The gym was spectacular, was well stocked with various machines and free weights. From the front desk , greeter, and nice restaurant onsite . Will definitely come again !!

Nice hotel. Our room was NOT ready at 4pm, but the staff member found us another equal or slightly better room with a nice view. I’m not sure if all of the rooms are like this, but at least the one we were in seemed to be a mix of some stuff modern and updated, and some stuff not which was a little odd. Bathroom for example was all updated except for the blue and white floral design 3x3 square tiles that still are the wall of the shower that remind me of what you’d of seen in your grandmothers house. The shower height was a little low (my wife is 5’9” and I’m about 6’ and we kind of had to duck down a little). Also, modern glass design of shower door aka just half of a glass wall (back half is completely open) made for water to come out just trying to take a regular shower. Mini fridges were indeed very mini, slightly larger ones would be a nice upgrade. 2 complimentary bottles of water in the room was appreciated, but no complimentary cocktails, cocktail hour finger foods, free breakfast, or even just free coffee with plenty of fixin options are offered unlike some other competitor hotels on the same block. Expect to pay $4 for a SMALL cup of coffee from the on site restaurant, but they did not have any flavored creamer options besides original. Connected parking garage to the hotel is nice (daily and overnight rates apply though). Honestly, one of the main reasons I chose to try The Westin was because of their fitness facility is SUPERB!

The proximity to places downtown is perfect. Every floor has a room that says “vending machine, ice machine” but none of the rooms have a vending machine which is inconvenient and misleading. I tried calling from our room for 15 minutes to the concierge or any customer service and no one picked up which was very frustrating. The hotel bar had poor service with long wait times for drinks and the staff conversations were something to be had behind closed doors and not in front of customers regarding call offs and disagreements.

This Westin was located in and very convenient area of downtown Cleveland. Hotel rooms were very accommodating and clean. The only challenge we had was the valet service being very congested and slow moving..

Westin was clean, room was modern. Beds comfortable. We pulled up to park in the garage and the garage was under construction, no alternative parking offered except $50 hotel valet parking. I would think if the ramp was under construction, they would offer valet at a discounted rate for their patrons, for the inconvenience. We found a ramp around the block for $25. We were in town to attend an open house at CSU, we were literally parking overnight, not worth the cost of valet.

The room was not cleaned completely. Food and crumbs in the fridge and area. The bathroom was gross, the tub had sand and pubic hairs and dried soap (like they started to clean and walked away). It was gross. They didn’t have another room ready, but did clean one while we ate. The next room had no shampoo or conditioner in the containers (we thankfully brought our own). There was a q-tip on our floor by the elevators when we checked in, and it was still there at checkout. Valet drove the cars quite crazy through the parking garage. Rooms were comfortable (when cleaned). Overall, we were told a manager would reach out to us, and that never happened. Everyone we spoke with were polite. The restaurant had really good food. I’m not sure I’d rush back there, but it was ok. Was walking distance to places we wanted to see.

Room was dirty especially near and under the bed. The toilet kept running throughout our entire stay. The elevators were dirty and parking lot is horrible. People do not know how to park nor how to act civilized in public. Need better management.

So much trash on the carpets in the hallway. Running a vacuum has not been done in a while. Stains in sheets, and mirror had writing I. It from previous guest meaning not really cleaning. Overall just needs more care into cleaning. Right downtown is a plus, skyline is nice, just wished it was a little cleaner and not as dirty

The room was very dirty. Finger prints all over lampshades. Dirty Vent with so much caked dust. The room smelled really bad. I paid 800 for the first night and 1500 for the second night people having sex next to us screaming. Absolutely the worst hotel I stayed into date. 1500 to for one night is absolute robbery. Then we get there the valet is out of control 40 cars and no one helping anyone.

The building was gorgeous. Room was very accommodating. We did have a street side room - was a bit loud. Mattress was super comfy - however the pillows may have been the worst I've ever experienced with a hotel. Solid stay. 8/10.

The hotel was very nice for the price we paid. We were in room #1420 which had a great view of Terminal Tower while laying in bed once back to the room which was an added bonus. There were some down parts, some small some big. The shower doesn’t have a full door, so if you’re tall like me the water splashes out onto the floor which just seems like an odd design. We were short a coffee cup and the hotel has no vending machines for drinks or snacks both of those were small. The bad, there were dogs on our floor or +/- one I’d say that were howling (and I mean howling) very loud multiple times. Once earlier in the evening, once at one AM and again in the morning. When we tried to call the front desk no answer. But clearly nothing was done about this and I won’t believe for an instant that nobody else complained. I get people have to travel with pets, but if you’re going to allow it, police it.

This property could use some major updates. The linens looked dingy, the furniture looked worn, and the room just seemed outdated. When you think of a Westin, you think of elegance and luxury. That was not reflected in this location.

There were people screaming, running up and down halls, playing loud music, sounded like there was an altercation of some sort going on near us. We had a conjoined door to a room not with our party someone tried to get into during the middle of the night. Hotel was good. However our stay from 1 am until check out was not good, wanted to leave early but were scared to leave room with things going on in the hallway. Walls were paper thin and could hear entire conversations of rooms next door.

Poor front desk service. Did not catch the persons name, but they were very rude and dismissive while i was on the phone trying to resolve an issue. Checking in in person was easy and more calm. I understand its hectic during check in and busy but the rudeness was VERY unacceptable. Better training is needed

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Check in wasn’t until 4pm but we were allowed to check in at 11am with no additional costs. In addition to that, days before arriving a nice woman on the phone upgraded us to a lake view. Overall, great stay! And my son said the gentleman greeting everyone was very nice! Good stay!

I didn't even get to stay at this hotel. I had my reservation for over a week and the hotel oversold the hotel. I was given a pass to another hotel as well as everyone else who got overbooked to another hotel that ended up being overbooked because of this mistake as well. I do t know what happened at my first attempt to check in, but I had a women who wasn’t able to find my reservation even though I had conf number and all. She told me I needed to leave the line and go call hotel.com and talk to someone. Which isn’t possible, my bank account had been charged also. Needed to get back in a line that was now 20 people deep, to get to next last and she had no problem finding my reservation at all, she said it was there since 10:30 that morning. Very scared to be in a new city by myself and got turned down, when things were in place all along. Beautiful hotel and room, just had a panic attack when I got up to the room since for 45 min I had no idea what went wrong.

Idea location for the full experience of Cleveland. The city is at your doorstep. The hotel has high customer service expectations and achieves them. I felt very comfortable, it was clean, tastefully decorated, and the staff was friendly and engaging. The staff truly enjoyed working at the Westin. The kind of hotel I like to stay in when in the City.

The Westin Downtown Cleveland is a nice hotel with friendly, professional staff. It is situated in the middle of downtown. You are within walking distance of great restaurants, casino, sports stadiums, museums, parks and shows. We will definitely stay again.

Nice lobby and restaurant. The bed was ok. The view was great. Only problem was we ordered room service on our last night. After an hour of not receiving it, we called and they transferred us to the restaurant where no one answered the phone. When we called back the front desk person said we would have to come down ourselves because she was busy. So we came down to the restaurant and they stated “we must have lost your order”. I asked if they could still make it and they said the kitchen was closed, sorry. They also said if we were charged for the order to get with the manager to refund it. Not great customer service in my eyes.

Parking is pricey, but it's downtown. Our room didn't have any soap in it, but things happen. Worst part of the stay was the restaurant. You pay a premium for mediocre food and slow service. That said, there is plenty of high quality food options in walking distance. Overall, it was the staff that made the the visit. Everyone was super positive and polite. The staff interactions made up for the other shortfalls. . . The creative placement of mirrors in the room was a fun bonus.

Traveled to Cleveland to attend a NFL game, location of the hotel was great! Short walk to the stadium, also a short walk to the Rock and Roll hall of fame. The hotel restaurant was very good! Room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

It’s a downtown hotel but one of the nicer cleaner ones. Check in easy and had a great view of Lake Erie. The Bad: one certain bartender/waitress. Had breakfast first morning. (prepaid for 2 nights) this waitress huffed and puffed about basically having to work. We got cold coffee and she was just so damn rude. It was awkward watching her give death rays to her coworker that was super sweet btw. No doubt this is not new to this employee. We came back later in the day with a wedding party and she immediately yelled out we are closed! No food! We were there only for drinks anyway. We stood there waiting to order as she ignored us and walked away to talk to someone else. We left and never went back. Didn’t even go back for the paid breakfast the next morning. Not sure why this establishment would keep someone like this in the front of the house. Everyone else was so nice and helpful.

The hotel was very nice but room service didn’t come back if you weren’t ready for them when they first knock. Good food and great breakfast staff at the restaurant but dinner/happy hour service was terrible. If the hotel has more guests than usual due to events they should plan accordingly for staff and hours.
