Refrigerator was filled with water and didn’t work properly. Valet is required for 25$ a day and they say to call 10 mins prior but it always took at-least 20 mins to get your car, me and my wife missed multiple reservations because of this. They are not an extremely busy hotel so it made no sense. The night shift guy was the only good part of the stay and the hotel water pressure and heat is the only thing they’ve worked to maintain there it seems. Also this hotel is attached to a sleep clinic so my floor was constantly having patients doing sleep studies.

1. Great property, very friendly staff. Kevin at Valet is particular such a warm and affectionate person. 2. It might not be clear from the description, but they do not have parking onsite, but they have 24hrs valet service ($25). The other option is to self park a block away. 3. Since this property is near the hospital area, expect ambulances and siren sounds once a while.

We went to a concert at the Huntington Bank Field and booked here because the bus is pretty much a straight path there. However, be careful because the bus ride is much longer than we thought, it makes about 15 stops and we waited a while for it to even come. It’s only $5 for the day but we did Uber at one point because we didn’t want to be late. If you aren’t on a time crunch then this hotel is great for fairly close proximity to downtown.

Great stay! Only downside was there weren’t extra trash bags and sometimes when calling the valet the call didn’t get transferred to them so you’re waiting around with the valet not knowing you requested your car.

One of our double beds had several large brown dirty marks on the blanket . Looks like it was not changed. We called the main desk and they said they could not change them a that time, they just came a left clean sheets. The bathroom floor was not completely clean either. Staff was nice though.

Hotel was conveniently located within the medical district. We stayed on a weekend and it was pretty quiet. Self-parked using the hospital garage two blocks down--felt safe walking through the neighborhood. We were slightly disappointed in the room: it had an interesting smell and lots of staining. Food options were accessible via a short drive.

Literally the worst hotel I've stayed in since 2000, when I stayed in a horrible HoJo's in Oakland, CA. The AC unit either ran 100% of the time or 0%. No working thermostat. Bathroom was filthy. Pillows smelled like mold. Mold and dirt everywhere. So gross. Parking was lousy, they didn't help with luggage, I cannot believe this is an Intercontinental, and the picture is misleading. VERY misleading.

Worst “4 star” hotel experience ever. Dirty room and property, mediocre to poor service, room had broken and shabby parts everywhere, pullout super uncomfortable (even for a pullout), no dishes or silverware in the “kitchenette”, stained sheets. Avoid this place at all costs. No idea how it’s gotten 8.6 stars from travelers, unless the Cleveland Clinic is fixing people up with no cost rooms that exceed their low expectations or something. This is a 2.5 star hotel at best

The room was a true suite whereby the bedroom was a separate room from the living room. The bathroom was also 2 rooms with doors for privacy . The hotel is located in the medical district, so it is very quiet, which is why we stayed there. It’s a little distant from the tourist attractions & 30 minutes from the airport.

Since it’s a SUITE hotel I had high expectations. When we got to the suite the freezer door of fridge was open and would shut as there was too much frost and it had started to defrost all over the floor. We called. They brought a replacement. It did t really work either. We had a very nice dinner off property and wanted to eat them in the morning. Despite the suite having a cooktop, a microwave and a washer dryer it was only stocked with 2 glasses, 2 coffe cups & then 2 more glasses in bathroom. Are you supposed to bring your own table Service and cookware? Not even a plastic fork to be found. So we were forced to order room service. It was delivered efficiently the lady that delivered said “yeah it dumb they don’t have silverware or anything in these rooms”. I agree

Very nice bathroom amenities. However many rooms are not suites. The building is very old and they control the temps in your room. They either turn the AC or Heat on. Our room was warm. We turned it to 65 degrees to cool and it never cracked 77. In fact it kept getting warmer. They brought us a fan because even opening the window somehow didn’t work and the fan was super loud and blew warm air. The food was decent. Beds were comfortable. However this is not really on the level of an intercontinental hotel. It’s just old and sad. They refunded me the last night and we were walked to the Holiday inn next door which was far superior. They are going to renovate at some point and boy it needs it. Even the menu for room service was quite basic. But what we got was yummy

The heating/cooling system is antiquated. Our room temperature continued to rise to 84 degrees even though we had lowered the thermostat to 66 degrees and finally called the front desk to report our problem, with failed attempts to resolve it ourselves. After explaining our issue the on-duty attendant responded: Yes, you just shut off the heater and open your windows to obtain the desired temperature. Unbelievable... The outside temperature was in the 40's. So if you overcompensated with the windows you were back to turning on heat and running it back up to possibly 84 degrees. It was a known problem to management I learned on two occasions. Although undesirable, why would management disclose the only means of adjusting room temperature? Based on the response from the front desk, you open windows during hot summer months to raise temps when room gets to cool. At least disclose the issue...

First night was problematic. Toilet making sounds of running water; evaluated by maintenance and said it was fixed; however, continued to have problems. Awakened by pick up of dumpster at 4:00 am, neighbors doors slamming, very little rest that night. Second night awakened by loud music on the outdoor patio right below our room. Asked to be moved room was much improved; however, loud street noise and across the street from Police Department. Found out that Clinic rate was less expensive than Expedia rate. First and likely last time using Expedia.

This property feels dated and would benefit from some upgrades. I can't remember the last time I was in a hotel room without a USB port. The breakfast option was mediocre but at least they had complimentary coffee. The suites were a nice size.

We've stayed here before. This time we needed assistance with our luggage. The valet and parking valet were spot on on everything we needed. Even as we left two days later, they just provided outstanding service. We also ordered room service twice. They said it would be 30-35 minutes. Okay, we'll see how this turns out. First time 35 minutes on the dot. The second time, 30 minutes. There is no way you can complain about the speed of this service. OUTSTANDING.

My family and I stayed at this hotel the last time we needed services at Cleveland Clinic. We were so happy with our stay at that time that we rebooked for this trip. The receptionist who checked us in was welcoming and kind, and the room was clean. The hotel restaurant has nice options on their menu, and the hotel has a shuttle to the hospital which makes transportation very easy. My family and I are happy to recommend this hotel.

Paid 48$ for 2 breakfast buffets, waitress never talked to us after we were seated. Never got coffee that was ordered and the buffet was mostly empty. Could not find the waitress as we had somewhere to be so we got up to leave since we couldn’t find her and she appeared out of nowhere hollering for our room number rudely. Worst $50 breakfast ever. One of the elevators didn’t work a couple times and the staff didn’t seem to care.

The clerk who checked me in tried to charge me again after I had prepaid on Expedia because he couldn't find my reservation and I think they actually charged me more than what was the Expedia price. It was late and I was exhausted from a long day in the Cleveland clinic emergency room. He didn't ask for my confirmation number. and redid my bill and while I can't be sure he charged me more. He also asked for my credit card "for incidentals" but he should have already had my card number because I prepaid for the room. When I went to check out, the clerk at the desk now didn't even bother to look up from the computer to acknowledge me Even when I asked a question about the shuttle to the hospital , he didn't even look up.

Great for access to Cleveland Clinic. Otherwise not much else around for blocks other than the Clinic. The property is becoming dated but the staff was very friendly, the valets were kind and helpful. The rooms themselves were clean well kept and fresh. I would certainly not avoid a stay here as it a comfortable property but it is not a 5 star resort either.

This hotel is very close to the Cleveland clinic. Cleveland clinic also provides a free shuttle. The fact that it’s a two room suite is very nice. The restaurant is excellent. They offer room service including a limited 24 hour menu. I thought the room itself was OK. A little tired. There were some stains on the carpeting and wallpaper.

The staff at my check-in was really nice and helpful, but the check-out staff was the opposite. I had a room on the 8th floor and there may be an AC unit just above my room. The mechanical cranking sound was so loud I had to put on a noise-canceling headphone to sleep. Lower floors might be better. The breakfast was really not much but cost $22! I don't recommend this property.

Hotel restaurant was excellent and room was cleanand quiet .The air purifier was a nice touch. The parking was too expensive and parking garage was never located.The beds were wey comfortable and roo. Air conditioning was very good. The staff was exceptional and early morning clerk at fro t desk helped with details about closed highway ramp detour i formation. The valets were great as well as the waiters and waitresses at the restaurant.

We loved this hotel. The rooms are very spacious, bathrooms are huge and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant and bar was wonderful, and we really enjoyed having Laura take care of us. I would stay here every night if I could.

Continental breakfast is overpriced $16.99 / 2025 for what you get. Oatmeal, breads, fruit. Any proteins are extra cost. Eg. Eggs, sausage, bacon Confusing: there are 2 Intercontinental hotels near each other. I thought I was booking for the other. Intercontinetal Suites is for ppl going Cleveland Clinic primarily vs. For vacation.

I found the overall staff for the hotel to be pleasant. I asked for a map for the Cleveland downtown area and was surprised when there wasn't any. Only a map for the Clinic was available. Food at the restaurant was delicious and our waitress whom we had for two nights was so friendly and efficient! The room was great and very quiet for sleeping. The bed was comfortable but I personally don't care for feather pillows--too soft. The couch had a stain on one cushion that looked like someone urinated on it. Otherwise, everything else was clean. Overall, very happy with the hotel and staff.
