This property is under construction. It costs $40 to park here per night. The elevators in the parking garage are out of order. You have to carry your luggage down a very steep flight of stairs to get to the street level to check in. I wish I would have known this ahead of time. I would have not stayed here.

The staff is the most friendly staff on the planet! If I could, I would give the staff 20 stars. Our room was amazing with a view of the public square at night. The square has a sort of light show at night. We had breakfast in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The hotel is right in the center of everything so there is a lot to do in walking distance. We walked to dinner at the House of Blues. We loved our stay. Our only complaint is it is expensive to not have parking included. The parking was 48.00 a night. There was a glitch with our key card and we ended up getting stuck in the garage for 15 or so minutes when checking out until help arrived to open the gate. Overall, we had a very nice time.

The hotel ran out of parking and staff had no suggestions to offer . Valets had nothing to offer . Two stars of the trip , 1 valet saw me struggling with the luggage cart ( as 3 others watched ) and opened the door for me. He then was kind enough to assist me to the room with it . Bartender was very pleasant as well. Air conditioning could not keep up , our room was on the 14th floor and it was very warm ( this is in August ) Hotel was very clean , no complaints there . When we needed anything from housekeeping , they brought it promptly . Very disappointed in the service I received for my reservation . I tried to modify 4 times ( needed one less night ) When I made my reservation it did not say anywhere that I could not modify , there was even a button to click to do so . Very frustrating , I am hesitant to book through the app again . Note** I did not pre-pay for my reservation ( I am aware those cannot be cancelled)

Property was absolutely beautiful. Room was nice and big with an amazing bathroom. The only thing bad about the property was thenparking garage. Spaces were so small could barely get your vehicle in and hard to get out of once parked. If you have a bigger vehicle no way. Also didnt like that you spend the money on your room and then it costs you $45 for the parking garage.

Hotel property itself was beautiful. Wonderful location relative to restaurants and where we were headed. Parking was a mess, but the valet was only slightly more than self-park and the valet workers were great! Great hotel if you're in downtown Cleveland.

Hotel water hot shut off. They had sent out an email but too late to cancel, credit card already was charge. Not working elevator/escalator from the parking lot and had to carry heavy suitcase/luggage and bags up and down stairs. Property won’t compensate for the trouble.

Parking situation was less than desirable. Not sure what can be done but its a long walk from parking elevator to lobby especially on a cold windy day with kids.Itd be nice to have vending machines with ice machines.

We booked the room online the room did not look like the pictures the room was not in the best shape , the shower had hair in it from the people before us the mini feidge was on the ground instead of a stand.

Recently refurbished to quite a high standard. This is an old historic hotel and the remodeling has been done in keeping with its traditional roots. The bedrooms and common areas were a little dark for my taste but overall just fine. The common areas are nicely maintained and all the staff were very accommodating and friendly. There is no restaurant for dinner but it does serve a great breakfast. We never tried lunch. Dinner is in the bar area but good food even though restricted menu. My big complaint with the hotel is the housekeeping. ( my friend had the same issue with his room ). The bed was poorly made, wet towels were left on the floor, the conditioner bottle in the shower never got refilled despite specifically asking. Used glasses were left for two days and then when taken were not replaced. I asked for feather pillows and these were 'dumped' on the bed in a plastic bag and smelt awful. None of this majorly impacted the stay but it was a big missing in what otherwise was really first class visit to a great hotel.

The place is very nice. The room very nice. The comforters the bed though had old makeup on it and stains. Said something about it to the front desk and she was not too worried about it. Kinda sad that it was not cleaned properly. Kinda takes away the energy of the place.

The room was extremely tiny and not the cleanest. We found empty beer bottles and ziploc baggies under the sink in the bathroom and the sink was dirty when we walked in. There wasn’t a trash can in the bathroom and the tv didn’t face the bed so we had to rearrange the room to watch tv. Also when we checked in the the hotel attendant barely said anything to me, he didn’t explain where my room was or how to find the elevators or give me any info on breakfast. He just hand me my keys and looked at the next person in line. I had to ask if we were done to know we were all checked in. It was just a weird experience. Not friendly at all. We also paid for a king bed and that is not what we were given it was much smaller.

The room was quite large and the bathroom was huge. It wasn't very light in the room, however. It was very clean and quiet. And the location was great. Adam at the front desk was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would stay there again. The main downfall was the price of the parking at $48.

We had to move rooms at 9:30pm due to a ceiling leak. They gave us alcohol vouchers for the inconvenience, we dont drink. They rudely explained they wouldnt comp a room because we paid through a 3rd party so they gave us a coupn for breakfast the next morning. The new room was not as nice.It had a crap tub/shower combo & the view was of a veranda no longer used. Once we unpacked & settled, the smoke alarm flashed green every 15 seconds & was disturbing our ability to sleep. I called the main desk at 11:30pm & was put on hold for 15 minutes. At 11:45pm, I got dressed & went downstairs. I was placated by a young man who gave me a literal"bandaid". He explained that it would take maintenence 45 minutes to come up to our room & they would only tell us that the alarm is supposed to do that. The bandaid did nothing because the light flashed around the entire mechanism not just the little hole the bandaid covered. The next morning, we went to breakfast at 11:30am, (it ends at 12pm) & the waitress rudely reminded us we had limited time to eat & then another server came to the table while we were still eating & was trying to rush us through & asking to take our plates when we clearly werent finished yet. Needless to say, the lodging was disappointing & I am disgusted that it was as costly. If & when I return to Cleveland, I wont stay at the Hotel Cleveland again.

Loved the walkability of the hotel to Rocket mortgage for our concert we were attending, had a nice dinner in the hotel restaurant before going out, our bartender Keegan was awesome and gave us great suggestions on local places! Bed was very comfortable and check in was easy and very friendly Only one problem that we had was the tv didn’t work, but overall everything was amazing and had we stayed longer we would have had it fixed

Arrived at 3:15. Was told room was not ready, q5 minutes. An hour and a half later i demanded to speak with a manager. The event we were attending started at 7pm. It was after 5 when we go in room. Did not have time to have a dinner. Also, the threes times i check on availability (twice in person, once via phone) of my room, knowing the $591 fee was already completed the transaction, i spoke with a polite young man when a mouthy desk clerk,Ryan, said (when i asked about the wait) said "you and everbody else." The manager did get us our room. Told us to get a drink at the bar.(i and my grandson dont drink). I asked for parking to be compted. Wasnt. I have come to this hotel twice a year for about 8 years. It's a treat. But this was worst experience ever. I had worked 13 hours the night before, hadn't sowered, slept 1 hour, drove 4 and a half hours from Ashland, Ky, and made to wait over an hour and a half. I have a non refundable, (already paid for) through Hotels.com, in October and would like to cancel reservation. This experance has ruined what we have always found as a great experience.

Ana at the front desk was wonderful. She ensured that our group enjoyed our stay. Heather in the hotel restaurant did a great job serving breakfast to our group. Hotel seemed to be short staffed on room service, but the front desk took care of all our needs.

Check in time was 4pm. I was there at 4pm and stood in line of about 20 people deep to check in. They were busy as they were hosting two weddings and there was a popular concert in town (which is why we were there). Not a problem, I’ll wait in line. After waiting 30 minutes I was told my room wasn’t ready. The employee said the cleaning staff was finishing cleaning up the rooms. She asked if we would wait and they would call me when ready. After an hour of not receiving a phone call and seeing a constant flow of new arrivals getting into rooms, I inquired the status of my room. I was told very rudely that she had no idea. I needed to be more patient and wait until I’m called. I was appalled. I sat down and waited another 30 minutes. I approached the desk again and thankfully a different employee assisted me. After looking about two minutes in the system, she found me a room! The hotel itself is very nice. My experience with the staff was lacking. For the price I paid for one night, I will look elsewhere next time. Beware!

Asked for an extra blanket...45 minutes asked again, I guess they forgot... told it would be right up. Never arrived. When I mentioned it to the front desk they did not care at all, it was like the person hated their job. The actual hotel is very nice and clean. Oh, and the WIFI costs $$$...not worth it

I loved everything about this property, primarily the location and the ease of getting there by car. Everyone I interacted with from check in to check out was exceptional. The hotel is centrally located and it's easy (and safe) to walk to many different venues. The room was clean, updated and spacious. The food at the two eating places was good and reasonably priced and the staff was very friendly and kind. I would definitely stay there again, no question.
