I specifically asked for a ground floor room when I made my reservation. I was promised that I would be put on the ground floor. When I checked in I was informed the last one was just taken. My sister walks with a cane and had to climb stairs. Very disappointing. The staff was friendly and apologetic, but if a person is promised certain amenities, those things should be provided.

Toilet seat loose, tiles broken, drain broken off, loud, room smells like weed, dated, stained, no elevator.

For price room was exceptional however outside I was worried about vehicle in parking lot. Dark and people wondering around.

After check-in and being assigned room on 3rd floor was told no elevator. Not acceptable for 2 seniors with replaced hips.

Musty smelling, stuffy room. No place to hang any clothes. No cup to rinse mouth after brushing teeth or drink water for meds. Mattress creaked loudly every time I moved. No elevator to reach second floor. Poor breakfast selection. Loud air conditioner. Hard to find an outlet to plug in charger. Front desk lady was not welcoming or friendly. Very hard to understand what she was saying. Very dismissive when I expressed concern about navigating stairs. Very hard to get into front door with suitcase.

When we arrived for check-in at 10:00 pm, lobby doors were unlocked, however, there was no staff visible. After waiting for several minutes, we called the hotel phone. It went to a recording. We waited several more minutes and called again. The phone was answered and an employee indicated that she would be there in two minutes. Five minutes later we called back, and she said she was now on her way. She came to the desk and indicated that she had been in the shower and that it wasn't time for her shift to begin yet. However, she did check us in. The parking lot was covered in ice with little effort shown to make it safe to walk on.

Hallway smelled like weed, bad. 1st room they gave me was occupied, luckily I didn'twalk in on anyone but there was luggageon floor and bed. . 2nd room wasnt very clean.

Towels were very old,small and stained. Bathroom needs to be updated. Took me awhile on how to turn the shower on. I was standing in water while i was showering

I would not recommend this place. Bed was very small and lumpy. Shower head was at my shoulders. (I’m not tall) There was only one towel in the room and it was thin and small. There was mold in bathroom around the ceiling. Super 8 should be embarrassed by this property

The toilet seat was no on tge bathroom was dirty my bed sheets had makeup still on it the light wouldn’t turn off the front Desk guy lie and told me I would get my refund on the 18 it the 25 and still have not got it

I was very surprised the room was dirty, trash on the floor, gang graffiti on the doors.

There was mold in the room and they never came to clean the room and the handle to the bathroom was broke.there was also a smell that I could not get ride of all around a bad time

I thought I had a room at another super 8. The lady who checked me is was friendly and helpful. Somebody claiming to be the staff, pounded on my door about 10:15 and woke us up. They said I wasn't suppose to be in the room and wanted me to open the door. I refused to open the door and told them I had checked in and paid for the room. Someone on the 2nd floor room above me, stomped back and forth, continuously across the floor for hours until 4:19am. What a total nightmare! The morning front desk was to busy to acknowledge me this morning, pretending to be to busy to say hi. The room, sheets and bathroom were clean but the tv remote was crusty and disgusting. (I bring my own wipes for this reason.) Breakfast was very minimal.Never again will I stay at this place.

While the decor was nice and room clean, it mostly terrible. Phone didnt work in the room. Desk staff either wasnt trained properly or didnt care enough to do a good job at making sure the breakfast area was clean or stocked. The pillows in the room were about 12x12 so not actual bed pillows. The tub didnt drain well so while taking a shower the water stayed above ankle deep. And the AC didnt work well. Outdated or poorly maintained machine. Having worked for the Super 8 chain and stayed in their hotels before, i expected way better for the amount of money i had to pay for this room. To sum up it was like this property gave minimum effort. Eill not stay again or recommend

I was not pleased to see the very high bed. I hate them because in age, I am losing height and have a terrible time getting into the bed.

The tobacco smoke smell from other rooms was thick. Bathtub looked a little worn and dirty.Only one bar of soap. Loud sounding heater. Could hear conversations, doors slamming, and foot traffic from the hallway until 3 am.

Dirty, beds were horribly uncomfortable. Noisy. This property is so nasty if we weren't so tired from all day traveling, I'd walk out.

How can you offer a room without any options to hang coats, garments, or towels? And why is having a fridge, microwave and safe more important than a closet? Having the bottom drawer of the nightstand nailed shut instead of replacing it was ghetto…didn’t expect that in Morningside…

I Hated that Afrer Making My Reservation, Paying in Full up Front and Then Driving a Ways Out of My Way, the Hotel Was Completely Sold Out and I Was NOT Refunded and There Was NO AGENT with Expedia for Me to Talk to Only a Computer Generated AI Which Kept Hanging Up on Me. The two ladies who checked us in on Friday night & were on duty most of the time we were there (2 nights) were very pleasant & very helpful! They are an asset to the location. More posted information about breakfast times, exit directions in case of an emergency, checkout times, etc. are needed but I do understand they were in renovation mode. The heater in the room kept it very comfortable all the time. Enjoyed the stay.

We checked in at midnight and the desk attendant was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but there were no drinking cups in the room. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom sink did not drain. We went to get breakfast at 8:45 am in the lobby but the entrance door was locked so we rang the doorbell twice but nobody came. I looked in the window and the morning desk attendant was sitting at the desk sleeping with her head down on her arms on the desk. After knocking loudly she woke up and let us in, but didnt say a word. No apology or anything. The waffle machine wasn't set up or anything. No milk for the cereal. Dry bread for toast.

Everything was great. One small problem that was taken care of right away. First room had a heater that wasn't working properly so the front desk agent put us in another room right away. This was my second stay there and was great again.

The owner Shama I think is her name is absolutely amazing. She has been nothing but welcoming and kind to me. The front desk agent that is working currently who is an overnight is maybe a little tired tonight, but so far our state has been great

Desk person gone for over 1/2 hr. One person came back and left. Area questionable. When front clerk returned said nothing about being gone and unfriendly.

Clean quiet room except for snow plow driver cleaning next door parking lot at 10 pm. not a fault of the motel-was just bothersome at bed time. Other wise enjoyable.

Too far off highway, Scott was not friendly and argumentative for a simple request to get hot water even thought the check-in manger said yes ask anytime.

Easy get some food or drinks from gas station next door, after arriving at 7:30p.m. - coffee station near lobby was completely cold- when we tell lady at the courtesy desk - she responded “ I am sorry, it’s there from yearly morning. And it’s too late to do new batch” . There is no coffee machine in the rooms. We found it’s funny - on keys holder envelope - password for Wi-Fi - WELCOME 😂

Very nice staff. Breakfast was fine. Hot coffee. The only problem we had was our air conditioner stopped in the middle of the night

Okay normally I don’t do reviews. I’m not a “leave a review” type person; unless it’s a situation like this. Okay, I have stayed in hotels in Michigan, Los Angeles, Mexico, Alaska, other places and never had any of them charge me for checking in early. Even the other Super 8 in Sioux City I usually stay at, I check in hours early and they don’t charge me. This one charged me $20 for checking in early so I was not off to a good start. I was tired so I was like whatever. Paid for my room and when I opened the door a pungent smell that’s hard to describe just hit me right off the bat. Ugg. I out my things away, checked the bed for critters as I always do. Didn’t see any. The end table, however, had gum residue on it. Wtheck. Turned the tv on and no channels came on. Did auto program and nothing. Ended up being the cable was disconnected. Hooked that up and relaxed on the most uncomfortable bed I’ve been in since I was, away. Ended up sleeping on the floor two nights. The shower water pressure was amazing I have to say. Oh don’t get me started on the “breakfast” and coffee. How do you mess up coffee???? So, no. I would not stay here again; and I’m freaking homeless saying this.

Wyndham really needs to throw some serious money at this property, she is T-I-R-E-D!! The towels were all dingy and mismatched, the shower handle had been replaced with one from a sink, which leaked, and it seemed as though the tub/shower surround had been painted. Maybe more that once, and still looked cruddy. It seemed as though everything came from a thrift store. Except the sheets. While wrinkled, the sheets were nice and white, and the bed was comfortable. I think the staff is doing all they can to give guests a clean, comfortable stay, which is what is expected from a Super 8, but there’s only so much they can do when everything is so run down. There were some good breakfast options though, I was a little surprised.

No coffee, just two towels, just small shampoo, only two pillows, blankets were very thin n I was cold. Price not adequate for stay. On Website checkout was 11:00 but when checked in it was 10:00. Super 8 is not value for what we paid. Breakfast was pretty slim in offerings. No Decaf coffee and no tea. Please change ratings to what they actually offer. I was very disappointed and had to ask for more towels cause what they had were pretty skinny. God bless
