They let our dog Oreo stay for the pet fee of $25. They are pet friendly they just ask that you clean up after your furry friend. It is clean, exceptionally well kept, and they have good breakfast! Will definitely stay again when traveling through :)

I made my reservation online and knew it would be extremely hot traveling (100 degrees outside) was looking forward to a swim. After getting my confirmation number- the next email was from hotel saying the pool was being torn up and being replaced by the breakfast room!!! Also being a coffee drinker, there was no coffee in the rooms. Yes they have it in the breakfast room, a floor or 2 down, but I would have had to wake up and get dressto get some. I probably won’t be staying here again I am sorry to say!’

The hotel is clean, rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool has been “closed for construction” for the last 2 years that we’ve been there. My only complaint is the breakfast. Frankly it’s horrible. Grab your refrigerated cheese omelette (that you buy in bulk at Sam’s club), refrigerated bacon or sausage patty and microwave it. The fruit was WELL past its prime and the coffee was bean flavored water. Thankfully there was a scooters right across the way so I could get actual coffee, but it’s not something I should have had to do.

Towels were nice, bed was pretty comfy.But the floor was a problem! It was slick, I couldnt keep my shoes on and stand up. My white socks ended up very dirty. So if it was the cleaner making it slippery...it was done with dirty mop or water. Dissappointing. Floo needs to be clean and safe for this senior.

Our room was clean and spacious. There was no coffee maker in the room but they had it by the front desk. Breakfast was a bit strange with all breads, omelets, sausage, etc. separated in ziplock baggies. We’ve never seen that before. I would probably stay here again.

The staff was super nice at this hotel. The train constantly passing in the night made sleeping somewhat difficult, and having a room right next to the elevator is not recommended either. You could hear the people in the room above us along with their walking across the room back and forth. One staff member told me that the union pacific contractors who stay there actually request the “quiet side” of the hotel. Otherwise the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The size was decent, but it was just a little older. Bedding was good but the room smelled a little like smoke or mildew. We switched rooms, and it was a little better but not great. We ended up buying air freshener for the room. Needs some renovation. Sink would not turn cold, the tv was from the early 2000s, and the swimming pool was freezing. The continental breakfast was as basic as it could've been. We ended up going to buy breakfast at other places. The room AC did work great!

Check-in was not very pleasant. Also, we did not even get bottles of water - and our reservation said it included "two beverages". It was also noisy. Breakfast was ok. The room was spacious and clean. Hotels.com needs to update description - no pool for quite some time.

Needed a room for 5. Booked the 2 Queen plus rollaway option that was shown on Hotels.com. When we got there, past the cancelation time, they said they wouldn't give us a roll away (they haven't had them in years). Said we could pay more for an upgraded room. Hotels.com says that Victorian Inn makes the listing and it's their fault. Victorian In says Hotels.com messed it up. One member of our group slept on a cot we happened to have in the car. In the morning, I was told that they just won't put roll aways in that room. The customer service was terrible. Unwilling to make their error right. Hotels.com & Victorian inn blamed each other for the error but neither would fix it. Also, the pool is closed and they don't list that accurately either. There were many solutions that would have made this acceptable to me. Upgrade my room for free since it their fault for falsely advertising or allowing me to cancel my reservation and go somewhere else. Staff member was indifferent and totally unconcerned about giving us a room that was too small even though I showed her the reservation. The morning people were apologetic but didn't offer any discounts. Obviously, it was too late to upgrade the room. Added a picture to show that roll away is still listed as an option for future reservations.

Booked two rooms for two adults and one teenager. Initially the front desk would not let me have my room I booked because I live in the same city as the hotel. They agreed to let me have my room this time. No real reason excepts it was hotel policy. And all I wanted was to spend time with my boyfriend and his niece. On another subject there was poor water pressure so it took longer to take a shower. TVs picture quality was poor so didn’t even watch the tv in my room.

My mom and I came to Sioux City for my brothers funeral. We got in late and the next morning we had to get up early to get over to the funeral home. I needed coffee so I was fully clothed and had socks on and walk down to get coffee, as I walked out Cassie said “ next time you come down you need shoes on” in a very rude tone!!! the next trip down there was a sign when first it was the hours of breakfast. She was not a pleasant person to deal with and no smile no nothing! The rest of your front desk staff were super sweet and housekeeping were amazing.

The hotel is located by multiple fast food locations and a Wal-Mart. Downtown is minutes away. Many ptions for free breakfast: cereal, bagels, toast, oatmeal, waffles and biscuits and gravy. The only negative is the elevator is much too small, a little claustrophobic.

Within walking distance of Culver’s, KFC, Walmart and a local restaurant, 4Brothers Grill and Pub. It is located close to a highway. Still pretty quiet at night. There are train noises during the night . We left our window open so we were aware of them. Nice staff.

Wall plaster is cracked in sleeping area and bathroom. Terrible breakfast. Precooked omelets and breakfast sausage that you're supposed to put into a microwave to heat up so they turn into rubber

The breakfast was less than desirable. Everything else was great. But the breakfast was a let down. The waffle mix was gone by 8. There was stale biscuits and warmed up gravy. The breakfast meats were all in plastic baggies for us to warm ourselves. The only eggs available were hard-boiled. However, they had posted an omlet recipe on the cooler. I feel like they could have a better breakfast. More options. Hot breakfast items. The coffee was delicious!

The staff was very pleasant at check-in. The room was clean and comfortable. We received a free upgrade to a three (3) bed room when we arrived. The breakfast is modest, but so is the price. So it is fair. The claims about poor coffee are true. No coffee in the room and the coffee in the break room was not good. But everything else was worth it.

Perhaps the worst free breakfast ever! Everything was cold and kept in a refrigerator in plastic ziploc bags. You were required to microwave everything to warm it up. Bacon eggs sausage everything! The buscuits were cold and had to be heated up before the one hot item could be added, the gravy. No gym, no pool, nothing extra. I will not be staying here again!
