Quality Inn & Suites Caseyville - St Louis

The place had a recent inspection that they failed. The elevator was broken, the pool and hot tub were closed and they could not serve breakfast. We requested a different room because of the elevator issue. The inn sent a reimbursement to Hotels.com on my behalf which they in turn should be returning to me. Where is the notice from Hotels.com re: the reimbursement?

This hotel needs updated photos. This is a classic bait and switch type of deal. Old, run down, needs updates badly. Little to no hot water, Stains on furniture, fixtures falling off the walls,toilet wouldn't flush with out help. I will say the staff was nice that's about all this place has going for it. When we checked in we were also advised they had stopped offering breakfast. Not that it mattered for our staff but the indoor pool is also closed until further notice.They need to adjust the listing on hotels.com to tell you that in advance. I would advise staying away from this place until they get it together.

No Breakfast. Couldn’t understand the man, as to why. Wished I had shower shoes. Air conditioner? No working elevator.

In the morning the breakfast was COMPLETELY out of food and cups, so I stood at the counter as the person on staff was talking on his personal cell phone in the back. I was there for the eclipse, so Monday morning I told the kids we couldn\'t swim, as it was open and unlocked. That evening my kids wanted to go for a swim and the lights were shut off and the doors locked. I called down the the staff and was told, "The pool is only open on Fridays and Saturdays". Talk about crushed. The ONLY reason I booked this one was because of the pool. Other issues. I was in a suite, the couch had a different cable service than the main bedroom. Only one channel (ABC) worked in the room. The phone didn\'t function in the room either, so if I called the front desk it had to be from my cell phone. The only saving grace was the bed was decently comfortable, which I guess is all you can expect. Except the rates were MUCH higher for the eclipse than they are any other Monday.

Amenities could be better especially breakfast. And the pool was not in working order which should have been disclosed with the room confirmation.

I booked this stay for a work trip. After checking in I asked what time breakfast was only to be told they weren’t serving breakfast that week, Also found out pool, laundry room, and elevator were all out of service that week. I booked specifically to use those Amenities for my limited work allowance. No partial refund, no allowing me to book another hotel. I was stuck and went way over budget having to go other places to use the amenities that should have been included in my stay. Staff was nice and beds were comfortable. Next time I’ll make sure I have access to everything before checking in.

Then we get to the elevators and there is built up dirt around the door. The room did not look very clean. The walls had patches on them. The shower walls were patched all over. The tub was either very stained or dirty. The plug to make a bath would not go down because of the soap scum build up. The carpet left stains on my socks. I found hair in my bed. (Animal and human) My son went to shower and there was three roaches. Unless you are desperate I would stay somewhere else.

The staff was as good as they could be, however, I had a problem with the complementary breakfast being really below Average, also the pool looked dirty, so me and my kids didn’t even get in there and then last, but not least the elevator was broken, and I had two children with me below the ages of 4. I also had a room on the third floor.

I killed a cockroach first thing. There were several holes in the doors and bathtub.

Room was ehh bathroom was dirty especially the toilet had pee all around the bowl tub was nasty beds had stains on the sheets breakfast was put out Saturday but not how it was explained when I booked my stay today when I check out there was no breakfast this hotel definitely needs a over haul

This hotel was very dirty. The sheets and mattresses had obvious stains on them. There were holes in the walls, dirty baseboards, dead bugs in the floor, black stains on toilet lid, and the pool was green. The satellite TV did not work. We could not stay here, and had to find another hotel.

I found a bed bug on the shower curtain plus you look at the ceiling in the bathroom the paint wad peeling off and the floor was dirty in the bathroom.

Outside property is very nice. Could tell the outside was recently renovated, but the interior such as the rooms are outdated. In room accommodations such as sinks, bathtubs, and toilet were dirty and worn. Bedding, like the sheets, had stains on them. Had to get a different room which was better but you shouldn’t have to change rooms. All rooms should be held to the same clean standards

This property served its propose. We did a whole clean swept before even placing anything down. The sheets were stained, the couch was flithy on both sides of the cushions. The floor was okay but smelled bad, so we sprinkled carpet cleaner on thne floor. I cleaned the tub, sink, and toilet out for myself and children. I sprayed Lysol on everything and I did see a couple of mites located on the cushions. I appreciate the emergency stay, but would not recommend this location until better cleaning is done.

The hotel is old. The bathroon was very dirty. And the bathtub in horrible situation. Dirty, yellow, not cleaned, it smelled bad. With moisture on the curtains and they were not changed. Soap was not changed on arrival. Room was not ventilated as well. I found blood on the sheets which was not well washed. You can not offer this to the next client just to take his money for the stay. It was disgusting.

The place is old tired and it has been through the wringer! From the toilets not full flushing, sink wouldn’t drain. I couldn’t turn on the faucet to the bathtub it was frozen to shower use. The rusty 5 lights above the mirror didn’t turn on. And that’s just the bathroom…!

Pro: close to interstate, micro/fridge in room, restaurants close, easy check in. Cons: toilet did not work properly, bed really soft which is great for one but not 2 people. Loud AC but gets cold, office chair need definite screw drive or replacement, fridge froze all our food, breakfast items in fridge were frozen and limited items, no fruit or juice. Elevator down button does not work.

They definitely need to scrub the tub. The flooring in the bathroom is very uneven and missing grout on the tiles. These TVs didn’t work but was too tired to go get something else

Upstairs door had no handle on the third floor so after climbing the stairs I had to go back down a flight and come up the elevator to get into the third floor. Ice machine was also not working on the third floor but plenty of ice on the first floor! 😊 Nice spacious room. Lighting was not the best though for reading stories to my granddaughter.

It was a convenient location for visiting St Louis (and not paying downtown prices), but there was a funky smell in both rooms, the pool was freezing, food for breaky was essentially depleted by 8:00, and the overall maintenance of the place really needs some attention.

Was an average stay. An older hotel, but still kept in decent enough shape. I had no issues with the room other than the fridge not being cold enough.

Just a terrible place to stay. Walked in and guy at front desk never greeted us. Then he acted like he didn’t want to help us. He told us he wished his housekeepers spoke English. Got our rooms and as soon as it was unlocked it smelled of marijuana. The other room smelled ok. Tv didn’t work though. Went got our room changed and then our tv didn’t work. Coffee pot was broke unknown when it would be fixed. Pool was closed for some type of oil in the pool! We went to the front desk and asked for our money back. Went across the street to MOTEL 6. Much more friendly, clean rooms and everything worked.

Staff was pretty nice and no major problems.

For the price, this isn't a horrible deal. There is a feeling that the bare minimum is being met across the board. My TV did not work, the breakfast was deficient in quality and I had a pair of airpods stolen out of my room by what I assume was staff. A 5-star hotel can have a staff member causing trouble, so I don't blame the hotel. The real issue is the lackluster response.

My name is Chance Roberts we recently got a room from January 19 to the 21st and when I went to complain about the roaches the reception guy was asleep in the couch in the lobby and when I woke him up he had an attitude and when I showed him pictures he said “what do you want me to do about it” then proceeded to say if I brought a plate of breakfast to my room I’d be charged the 100 fee. They also walked in our room when I had the do not disturb sign on the door. The men downstairs at the desk didn’t do anything to help with roaches and talked to me like I was a nobody

Personnel was friendly and informative. It was ordinary and without frills, nice.

Our experience was terrible from the time we stepped in the front door. John England( front desk clerk) was extremely rude. He even told us that our room may not be cleaned yet and that it would be helpful if housekeeping spoke english. Once we got checked in and went to our room we noticed the indoor pool was locked and the laundry mat was out of service. When we got in our room the TV did not work. I called the front desk and told John about the TV and the pool being locked. I was told we had a old tv and it could not be programed to there new system. Tbe pool had oil in it and no time frame for the pool to open I told him i wanted to speak to a manager, he told me he would message her. No call back so my husband and son -in-law went to the front desk. The manager called and said give them their money back and let them go somewhere else. Manager did not offer an apologize or any kind of resolution. So we went to MOTEL 6. THE BEST GUESY SERVICE WE HAD

This was a nice and inexpensive place to stay outside of the city when visiting St. Louis. The breakfast was good and rooms were good for a budget hotel. Would definitely return when visiting St. Louis.

The outside of the building looks great, the inside needs a little work. The rooms are in need of some deep cleaning! The floors felt icky… the bathroom was clean and the water pressure in the shower was AMAZING!!! The door to our room needs some maintenance as it did not want to open all the way because the arm at the top kept falling and kept the door from opening. You could also see into the hallway at the edge of the door and it did not close all the way and we would have to make sure it closed completely. The tv remote did not work and although the staff came and checked it and it would change the channels, it would not control the volume or turn the tv off. The pool area was nice and they did have a small bar and some slot machines. The breakfast area was big, but breakfast itself was not good. Although there was plenty of batter for waffles, that was all that was there besides some cereal. Everything else was gone and there was still an hour left for breakfast. I could tell there was probably bagels or bread available because there was a toaster and some cream cheese and jelly, but there was nothing there. There was barely enough milk for cereal also. It was very close to St Louis and we were able to get everywhere we wanted to visit within 15-20 minutes. Not sure if we would stay again unless some renovations were done and it was cleaner.

I will start out with what was good with our stay. Staff was friendly, water pressure was really good, bed was comfortable and the a/c was good. Bad was, facility and parking lot was dirty, bed cover had a moist white stain, bathroom was dirty and stool float got stuck and would not fill up the tank at times. We found one roach running across the top of the bed in the middle of the day. No breakfast during the week. The towels were thread bare and not enough wash rags (2) . When the room was cleaned they did not leave any Coffey cups. Other then that it was convenient to the convention center in st Louis without having to stay on that big city.

Nice place but a homeless man was sleeping on the 3rd floor top of the stairs smoking a blunt and the area is a little unsafe at night

Good spot for an overnight or few day stay. Overall good spot. Just need more toiletries in rooms.

They had waffels and two kinds of cereal. The breakfast was terrible the pool wasnt even open. The breakfast and pool is the reason i stayed there.

Breakfast areas was void of food. Looked like maybe a waffle maker but didn’t see any plates. Sad. Stair case smelled.

The Air conditioning worked well, and the room was clean. Nobody was checking the breakfast supplies, and the desk clerk had to be asked to bring items that ran out.

Was a decent room for a decent price. I stayed three nights bed was somewhat comfortable. Breakfast was for 6-9 I went around 8 each time and there wasn’t much left.

Towels were thin and see through. Pool heater was broken. Breakfast only had waffles and two cold cereals. No one was restocking. Beds had large duvets in the mattresses.
