The staff was very nice at the front desk. Little language barrier but not to bad. The hotel it self was very clean. The room on the other hand was like someone changed the bed and rushed cleaned the rest. The bathroom was nice and roomy, had a shower with a short tub if you had kids it maybe ok. Again a rush cleaning in n there also. You can tell it was cheaply made as you can hear everyone coming and going out of their rooms. I got a call when I was in the pool that my dog was barking. In fact it wasn't my dog at all. You can hear some much going on in the halls while in your room down to someone coughing. When leaving room cleaners had there karts in the hall to close together and I moved one so we could walk down the hall to leave and an old lady popped her head out of a room looking like a scary old troll and given me the dirtest look. I'm glad I was leaving. The pool is really small when one family is in it you don't want to attempt to go it's that small with one way in one way out in the parking lot. Don't think I'll try going back to this location again. I've always been told you get what you pay for not sure why I didn't listen to that when booking the room for two nights.

The policy listed said 18 year olds or older could check in. When my son arrived at 3a.m. the man said he had to be 21 yes old. He had to bring up hotel.com and show him what it said before he allowed him to stay in the pre paid room.

It's Motel 6, so what would you expect? I expected clean floors and towels which was not the case. The property was not kept up. The grass was overgrown with tall weeds and overgrown scrubs, and the hallway was not vacuumed. The doors and walls were dirty and needed painting. Our room floor was not mopped, so my socks were black with dirt. The shower curtain was soiled and I had to exchange soiled dingy towels for cleaner dingy ones. And the air was stale in our room even with air-conditioning which actually worked properly. The mattress was decent too. Though we were trying to save money because of an unexpected funeral, choosing an economy motel doesn't mean you have to settle for a nasty one. I was told by a family member that the hotel went thru remodeling which was why we chose Motel 6 Caseyville. But they have a whole lot more work to do. I let the guy at the front desk know that and he said he would let housekeeping know - which I doubt. I think they intentionally do the least work possible. So I don't think we'll be back.
