Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Caseyville

Did not stay. Boarded up windows, pool not functional. Lobby smelled horrible. Place did not seem safe.

Swimming pool not in service. There were no towels, no trash cans, no wifi service (though given the info), no shampoo, and the tv had no working channels in the room given. The hotel smelled, everywhere. I chose to go elsewhere. I had to pay because I preregistered a room. Terrible choice. Never again.

Whole property only have one Ice machine and it was broken. Hallway very dirty,have lots of animal hair.

Maybe they need to repair the ice machine and bring back the snacks machines with card options. Maybe a convenient store inside. Repair the coin washer plus other things. But I still think it’s the best option to do the main things you do on a room: rest and be relaxed.

After paying for our stay through Expedia we got here and they charged more money and then when we got to our room there was no trash can the floors while newer looking didn’t even go all the way to the walls and the smell of 420 was enough to choke a person. When we got up the next morning our truck which was perfectly fine when we parked it had a huge dent from the fender through the door. When we reported it to the desk we were informed that there cameras don’t work and there was nothing they could do. We ended up calling for an officer who came out and said he wasn’t surprised. So our anniversary weekend was a bit of a let down that took a few hours of our time and then the staff was bleh. Oh and breakfast served is a joke. No where to sit nothing but waffle mix. No coffee. Very disappointing.

The lady checking us in was friendly the mattress was comfy. The entire hotel reeks of weed, bathroom was nasty got one half empty roll of toilet paper. The room has patches in the walls. Why have white towels and bedding if you can't bleach them so they are white and not stained? The outside doors were propped open so people could come and go. If I were Days Inn I would redo or close the entire place.

They advertised a continental breakfast but had dry toast or waffles but no butter or anything to put on them. If you're passing through the area, I recommend you look elsewhere.

I did not like the cleanliness of the area as soon you enter the entrance the hallway, smell bad. There was stain in the bedding. It say pool included but pool is closed. Staff was okay also the breakfast. Not booking there again

The hotel was filthy. The hallways were dirty,the toilet had mold as did the refrigerator. I was presently surprised that there were no bedbugs. The breakfast was Cheerios without milk and a few pieces of bread.

I don't understand how this place isn't condemned yet. Bad lighting, bad plumbing, roaches, exposed outlets, rusted and broken bathtubs, etc.

I checked in super late and went to the room to sleep. On the way up i noticed trash and feces in the sidewalks and hallways. I got to the room and didnt have a remote. I let the front desk know and was told he would bring me one. I went to sleep as i was very tired. This morning, i stepped out of the shower and there were bugs climbing on my towel that I had just hung there. I then had to shake bugs out of my shoes and clothes, which were in separate places.

Since this had Wyndham name on it. I expected much better. Room floors were dirty. Room smelled. Bedding was stained. The tub had so much black mold around it was disgusting. Broken woodwork. I was kept awake by people talking, arguing and knocking noise in the hallway. I am a solo elderly female traveler. I was scared.

Appalling!! The only pro is ease of checking in. Beyond that it is hands down the worst room I've ever stayed in!! I checked in and walked into the room long enough to drop off my bag and left. I just needed to know I had a room to sleep in when I would get back in the middle of the night. My fault for not inspecting the room. I get back to the room at 3:45 am and find... Walk in the door and turn on the light switch but no light comes on. Bathroom sink is dirty and still has toothpaste in it. No towels other than the shower mat. (However as I was leaving I noticed one towel and washcloth on the top shelf of the closet). The toilet ran and you had to jiggle than handle. But I guess I jiggled it wrong and next time I went to flush there was no water in the tank. Shower rod coming out of the wall along with ceiling tiles sagging in that bathroom. Mold in the bathtub. Bathroom fan was deafening. Mattress had a huge pit in the middle. Completely worn out and you rolled to the middle. Very hard to climb out of. Chair at the desk badly stained. Furniture was janky and drawers didn't close. Nightstand was filthy and bed skirt had a large nasty stain on it. Curtain pulls were broken off and lying in the window sill. Curtains didn't close and I was on the ground floor. Was going to complain but nobody was to be found at 3:45 am and with that many things overlooked there was a good chance another room wouldn't be any better.

Absolutely disgusting | no towels | no sheets | dead mouse in bathroom | smoke damnage

Bugs and dirt everywhere

This was the worst place I've ever stayed in. It was dirty. There was a hole in the bathroom door. The bath tub was filthy. The smoke detector was missing from the ceiling. The mirror was missing from the wall and the paint was green where it used to hang, while the rest of the room appeared to be white or off white. The sheets on the bed didn't look clean. I felt completely uncomfortable and actually slept in my clothes. I only stayed because I couldn't get a refund. The place should be renovated or shutdown completely.

This place was honestly pretty dirty, around the sink was filthy, had to clean it myself. Also killed a roach next to my bed and saw a couple dead smashed roaches on the wall.

Upon approaching the front desk, we were immediately given a key card and told to check out the room while he finished checking us in. We found this to be odd but took the key card and checked out the room. Everything seemed to have a strange chemical-cover-up smell. We found a 2-inch diameter circle of what looked to be black mold in the bathroom. We took a picture and brought it to the attention of the man at the front desk. He gave us another room and told us to check out that one. We checked the room and though the hotel claimed to be a smoke-free area, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and nicotine. We did not initially find anything else in the room besides the smell and finished the check-in process into that room. Upon closer inspection of the room, we found a lot of paint peeling on the ceiling above the sink and on the walls in the rest of the bathroom. The tub creaked loudly upon stepping inside. The walls of the tub/shower area appeared to be bubbling. We found small bits of what looked to be black mold above the sink. The window did not have a screen and also could not lock properly. We felt very unsafe and decided we'd rather spend the night driving as opposed to spending the night at this establishment. Would not recommend.

No pool no mini fridge, no microwave in the room

Soap leftover, who knows how many guests previos, had to ask for towels, crap in toilet. Disgusting floors, dents in microwave, dresser falling apart, tv wasn't plugged in. Wifi barely functioned, AC was loud. Key didnt work on 2nd day. No smoking signs everywhere but it still reeked.

First room assigned didn't have a functional shower!(2/3 of the three S's is NOT acceptable on any trip). The clerk on duty was helpful in reassigning our room.

Deadbolt wasn’t fully in, light didn’t work, bathroom light was falling out of ceiling, dirty sheets

Literally before I walked in the first floor window was open with no one in the room but a light on like they were accessing through the window only. Walked in, there was a smell. The upstairs hall door was broken. The smoke detector in the room kept going off and had no battery in it.

This was the worst hotel I ever stayed at. The hallway carpeting was filthy, the lock on the door didn't work properly, and the room smelled like it had been smoked in. I saw a cockroach in the bathroom. There was a gap under the door where I heard noise in the hallway until 3 am and I only slept two hours.

There is no power in the bathroom. There’s NO breakfast but it’s said with breakfast when booking.

Dust on everything, roaches, mice feces in drawer, shower didnt work, tv difficult to turn on, some lamps didnt work, air conditioner on/off button broken, very thin sheet for blanket, loose toilet.

The check in process was very slow. No receipt was provided. Room was not very clean. Beds were uncomfortable.

Needed a short stay driving straight through the night. Reserved, paid and confirmed via hotels.com. texted 2 hours prior letting them know our eta. Recieved text confirmation thank you…look forward to seeing you… arrived at the time i said i would after my 10 hour drive. Went to front desk and was asked if i have a reservation. i showed the employee my email confirmation and gave my name. He appeared to look it up then looked at me and said, “I’m sorry but all rooms have been booked, we dont have a room for you.” Tired and out of patience, I used an explicative and walked out to check on my son and our two puppies we just picked up from the breeder. Called my wife and gave her an update to which she replied, “no, they charged the card already” Mind you, it is midnight at this time. I walk back into the hotel and a manager of sorts was now at the desk and I began to ask for a refund when he said, “this guy is new and doesn’t know..I have a room for you” I said being new is not an excuse but whatever, just give me the key I just want to sleep for 4 hours. This is where it got weird. He charged me $20 for my two 7 lb puppies… $10ea. they are asleep in a small crate. I said, what?! They will not leave this crate.. again, whatever. There is no key, he has to unlock the room for us as the magnet system doesn’t work? Get in room, only one light (bathroom vanity) works. We sleep. Wake up sick. black mold everywhere that we couldn’t see in the dark. gross!

This is the third time that we have stayed at this hotel and despite the reviews about this place being dirty and what not, there’s a reason why we have stayed here whenever we are in town. Let me start by saying that the staff are very nice people who are also extremely responsive to their guests needs. We get better service here than we get in 4 star hotels. One of the reviews I read mentioned that they were not impressed right off the bat when they were checking in and they were handed the key and told to check out the room to make sure it was OK before they checked them in. I think that’s great. This is a practice that I think all hotels should follow. Then I’ll finish with this one. People complaining about it being dirty and run down fail to acknowledge that they literally staying at the cheapest hotel in the area. If you’re expecting the place to be immaculate then you also expect to pay four times the price. A ratio of cost versus cleanliness you are definitely getting your moneys worth. Personally, I would definitely recommend this place if you’re not some snobby pretentious person. Like to find out that it’s in close proximity to many strip clubs that you can Uber back-and-forth to for about $10 per trip. Next time I pass through St. Louis, I will be most definitely staying there again. How my advice if you’re reading these reviews and read between the lines on the people that are giving it bad reviews.

In all my years of travelling, this was HANDS DOWN the worst experience I've ever had. Shower did not work. Staff knew this when they rented me the room. A/C did not work. The room was HOT all night. Bathroom door was off the hinges. Staff unfriendly and sleeping on the job. Carpet looked like it was first installed in 1970. Dirty, dirty, dirty. When I asked for some kind of compensation for the room (on the basis of the shower not working), the general manager tried to blame ME because I checked in at 8.30PM. General manger of this facility is totally unprofessional.

Room was disgusting. When we called Expedia to ask for a refund without bothering the front desk, they came to our room to clean it after Expedia called them. Knocked every two minutes while I was on the phone trying to avoid giving me the refund. I never got the refund, we left the property within 7 minutes from the check in time. And I’m currently trying to resolve an overcharge with my bank because these people are dishonest even after I said to forget the refund.

Nice friendly staff

Definitely the worst motel I've ever stayed in. The room was not fully cleaned when I checked in, there was food left over in the refrigerator from the previous guest, the toilet was very old and dirty, and there were red stains all over the sink wall switch and one of the towels (I'm really hoping that that was ketchup or some type of sauce, not blood). I took the liberty of wiping down all the furniture with my cleansing towels. However, the front desk clerk (or could've been the manager) and the maid lady were very nice and friendly.

Did not have a key that worked, said I had to go to font desk if I wanted to get back in room. Also, the place was a dump.

Is not a hotel. Is apartment complex. Could not even find the check-in counter if they have one. Beyond disgusting with trash outside etc not sure why Expedia would allow this to be able to be booked as a hotel

The hotel was filty, there was a water leak in the hall floor for 3 days and there was a terrible odor in the building.The unit refrigerator did not work and there were no mirowave as advertised. Overall I would not stay or recommend this site to anyone

DO NOT BOOK!!! Worst hotel I’ve ever set foot in. Supposedly being “remodeled”. No hot water in entire building on arrival.’ Most rooms appeared to be permanent residences for crackheads. Saw police circle the building twice before we even got to the front door. Lobby dirty. Stairways/hallways filthy, smelled like pot. Actual room was horrifying. Couldn’t see out the filthy window. Both beds had highly questionable stains on them. Holes in bathroom door leading to unfinished, disgusting bathroom. Entire room floor felt dirty and I still had my shoes on. I wouldn’t even put my luggage down! We walked out and met at least 5 other couples outside that were also leaving for the same reasons. The most respectable people I saw on the property were the ones that refused to stay and were leaving. Absolutely no “quality” at this Quality Inn! Wyndham needs to pull their name off this hotel. HUGE black eye!

This hotel houses longer term residential guests who don't respect the property as well as they should. My room was clean, but it's not a place I'd recommend for vacation travelers.

This property meeds to ne shut down! I booked for me amd mu family a stay a.d it was ABSOLUTELY the worst hotel stay we have ever experienced. The front desk clerk gave someone else our room key amd there were roaches No housekeepers, no extra towels. The wifi didn't work and there was water co.ing up from tbe gloor in the bathroom. The free breakfast was unsanitary. The hotel is u safe for everyone

Room was full of flies, both dead and alive. Yes, there were roaches. 90+ degree weather and air conditioner broke. Bathroom dirty; shower head broken; dripped li my e a leaky faucet, no pressure. Breakfast consisted of cold cereal, bread-no toaster and waffle iron.

I experienced 2 separate rooms. This is the worst place i have ever stayed even at very low prices of $50/day. There aren't enough characters allowed to document all of the problems. The place should not be open. Staff seemed courteous enough but whomever runs the place doesn't know what they are doing. Same experience as others with roaches. Very poorly maintained with major water leaks. Tub rusted through quarter size holes. Mold. Dirty toilets, Fire alarm disabled in room. Hallway alarm chirping 24 hours a day. Bed had a sinkhole. Linens heavily stained. Breakfast was slices of bread, no butter, toaster, jelly, the thickest coffee I have seen, some cereal, suspect milk container and waffle maker, given the other problems I have no confidence in the waffle batter. When snow came no attempt was made to clear anywhere except a 10 ft strip in front of the entrance.

Cockroaches bed bugs floors leak the breakfast consists of waffles and cereal and a coffee thermos

The guy that checked me in was very nice but he had a lot of trouble understanding I had accendlu spilled a white soda on the bed so I went to ask for a sheet of sheets and was told I could get a set in the am. The place was very dirty and there was a crowd of people outside being loud until almost ,2am so there was not a lot of sleep to be had pool was very cloudy with all pool cleaning equipment just left last placed was usef and the breakfast was waffles could not het any butter bad stay left very tired

The hotel did not have any of the amenities advertised, smelled like smoke, the tv had very basic cable, zero breakfast options
