The golf course is amazing. The rest of the property is dated. That is not the worst part. The pool was so cloudy I almost hit a couple while trying to swim wearing googles. I did one lap and got out of the pool and I felt like a biofilm all over myskin. The hot tub was disgusting. It had a dark foam. I didn't dare to jump in there.

Older place but very nice. Had a nice spa for my wife and the pool was big with a good gym. They also had a small bowling alley too that was fun for my boys. The only thing they just had one restaurant for lunch and dinner even though they had a separate restaurant for breakfast.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The only thing we didn't like was that we had to go outside to a separate building for the pool, bowling, spa and billard. There should be a bridge or something connecting the buildings so you don't have to walk outside.

This was a great resort in Illinois! We only had to travel 38 minutes from Chicago and it definitely gave you resort feels. Great breakfast buffet, and the swimming pool Jacuzzi area was amazing. I am definitely coming back!

Every thing was closed all of the amenities that we came here for were not open during the week, boweling and golf stimulator. It was very boring and made our visit a waste of money.The pool was the only thing open, the hot tub was cold and the steam room was broken. Plus they make you leave your towels with them and make you walk outside in the cold soaking wet to get back to the hotel, because they don’t get the towels back was the reason. I have never experienced anything like that.

The fitness center with the pool, sauna and hot tub were in a separate building which was a good 100yrds away from the hotel itself😏 Very inconvenient! The fitness facility really needs to be updated/renovated. Its quite dated. Overall experience was decent but probably will not return.

Not user friendly, no towels for the pool, which closed at 9 but locked at 8:30. And had to walk across the parking lot to the pool center. Not accommodating for those traveling across country

Staff was unable to check us in for 15 minutes because they couldn’t find our reservation and didn’t know how to check their other system. Cleanliness was okay. Hallways had literally dust globs in numerous places, bathroom tub had mold.

The room was not the cleanest and the bathroom was small. We weren’t able to enjoy the pool as much as we wanted since there was a rule about not swimming if there was a storm. The view was great I’ll said that.

I didnt receive my 16$ vip voucher. I have stayed here 4 times and this one was bad. Dirty sheets. 2 light bulbs didn't work. It used to be a great hotel

Will not be returning. Very loud guests and extreme lack of basic sanitation standards in the room. Checked out early as I could not spend a night in a room with someone else’s shocks by the bed I was supposed to sleep on.

Room smelled like cigarettes, smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag, toilet seat had dried urine stains , (guest services and housekeeping helped out and even offered to change rooms) but later in the evening we checked out early because a MOUSE ran past us in our room. Totally disappointing for my family.

Always a relaxing getaway I've been here many times never had 1 issue . Pool and hot tub always clean. Rooms always clean helpful friendly staff. Always beautiful views. Had a few issues non serious issues this time. more just an inconvenience with both rooms with plumbing toilet had keep holding handle a couple times to flush and the tub trickled non stop and the other room tub wouldnt drain and backed up. but they made everything right with both rooms! I know they were swamped with multiple weddings and very very busy so i think just got behind a little with maintenance. Highly recommend a stay here

Unfortunately this property looks better in photos than in person. The original room we were given had terrible A/C so while the thermostat said 60, it felt like 75 on a 95 degree day. Additionally, they was a roach that I had to kill in the bathroom. We were able to move into a different room but everything is old and outdated. The building also smells old.

The ladies at the breakfast were very nice, room was dirty, long hairs in the bathroom, earing on the floor, plastic spoon on floor and a stained robe. Way too much waste just to make a coffee in the room (takeaway cups etc). Our golf view consisted of a lovely view of the carpark

My room was half way cleaned. There was also an infestation of baby ants in my bathroom when I told staff about the infestation they said that they would have it rectified with maintenance but nothing was done.

The room was nice but definitely showing some wear and tear. there was a distinctive musty smell throughout the room, and we had to sleep with the balcony door open to help alleviate. the venue overall was nice, beautiful views of the golf course, and the staff was kind. needs some upgrades overall.

Guests have no control over room temperature. Thermostats set at 60°, but our room was always 77°. Hallways were stifling. Also, there should be more hooks or towel bars to hang towels. USB ports- some did not work at all.

This hotel had a very friendly staff! Almost everyone I met was beyond nice. Everyone but the woman that checked me in. When I she explained where my room was I asked her if there was a place I could park that was closer so I did not have to drag my luggage that far. She huffed no, well there is but there is stairs. Once I got my stuff you to my room, I found a much closer exit/entrance that did not make me trudge through the lobby and banquet area. That is how I got in and out for the rest of my stay. The distance to my room made me feel like I was at a vegas resort not a golf course hotel in illinois. When I was booking I chose the room with the "deep soaking tub." I would like to warn anyone else thinking about booking this room that there is nothing deep about this tub. It is a standard, short hotel tub and shower. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. However, I was hoping my stay would be saved because there was a pool/fitness center. Also not make clear in the description, the hotel pool/fitness center has very short hours and is located all the way across the parking lot in a different building. Overall the staff was amazing but the amenities were a let down, along with the narrow hallways, small elevators and no luggage carts. I loved the balcony but do not see myself staying here ever again.

Customer service is abysmal! There could be 3 people at the front desk, and only 1 person will be serving a long line of people trying to check in. They also had a cardboard “Back Soon” sign at the front desk a lot. They didn’t give me the room I wanted on the first floor so I could open the patio doors and let my dog out. Dog fee is $75 in addition to the $165 fee for their rooms. This place is NOT PET friendly or people friendly, but their rooms are clean & nice looking.

Another fantastic stay at Eaglewood. Damiano is always so helpful and accommodating at checkin. This is my favorite place to stay in Suburban Chicago. Beautiful rooms and comfortable beds. Ands it’s so quiet.

Upon checking in and having stayed here many times before, the member of staff seemed in a hurry to get back to his phone and check us in as quickly as possible. Our Expedia rewards were not even acknowledged and we ended up having to change rooms. Ola saved the day once we returned back to reception, but we don’t think we would stay again after previous visits were more positive,

The resort is great! Elevators are kind of far from lobby. My daughter had a leg brace and was put in North tower. Patrick the bellman was the best! He notified front desk and they called me immediately and transferred us to the south tower so my daughter didnt have to walk so far. Patrick came back right away and helped us move. He was so nice and kind not at all bothered that he had to move us. Hecis an asset to the resort! One microwave in the lobby for the entire resort was really inconvenient. Microwaves should be in every room. Beds were great!

When we arrived we were early so we went to the restaurant downstairs from the lobby. The man behind the bar had an attitude when we asked if we needed to check in to sit outside and eat. He gave us menus and said a srver would be out to take our order. We waited 10 minutes and Noticed 3 tables were empty with dirty dishes sitting on them. No one came out. 5 minutes later we got up to leave and someone came outside. We said it is to late we have been sitting 15 minutes.

The front desk did not homer the VIP access or the platinum perks. We did not receive the 16$ credit and they said that they would charge us for late check out. They basically said that Expedia “makes us up” the perks and that the hotel doesn’t know or honor any of the perks. Overall the entire experience was very unpleasant.

Damiano and Patrick did a lovely job helping us get situated. Our king suite room was comfortable, including the beds and furniture. The location is great, with easy access to the Chicagoland area and lots of good breakfast places around. It’s off a golf course and is a nice respite from the busy area around it. Cons: The walk to rooms is Vegas-long. The hallways to the towers have narrow hallways and the rooms and hallways have fairly low ceilings. The elevators are small. So getting in and out isn’t super easy or convenient. The place, in spite of renovations, feels like it’s stuck in the early to mid 80s. If that’s your aesthetic, awesome. Still overall comfortable and Damiano and Patrick helped make the stay memorable.

Loved the location, room and services provided. The live music was a added bonus, bowling was nice price (15 mins-$30,30 mins-$30), close to mall and food options. Balcony was huge, elevator fast, quick access to highway (about 30-40 mins from downtown Chicago) and beautiful views. Will be staying again in future for such a great price and location.

Great place to stay if you want to stay outside the Chicago area. Close to shopping, restaurants, and other sight seeing destinations. The room was clean and the staff was very polite. The only drawback is the long walk from the room the lobby and/or pool. Highly recommend.

It was a nice resort, a lot on property. Food was expensive on site and there are plenty of restaurants close by. The bed wasn’t the coziest and the pool was freezing cold and you had to walk outside which suck when it’s cold and your hair is still wet (the do have blow dryers available).

My experience was amazing up until I had to check out. I paid for breakfast ahead of time and they refused to serve me breakfast but was completely fine the day before. That left a bad impression. So I’m out of $40. Great.

Favorite hotel outside the city (suburbs) of Chicago. Really comfortable accommodations. I stay here often and i am never disappointed. Ola at the front desk was really helpful in getting me situated. This place is first class. Love the marketplace cafe with the fresh coffee bar. Fabulous. Excited for brunch buffet tomorrow morning. I’ll be back soon.
