The parking area (in front of the hotel)was brightly lit and there was a nice amount of grassy area for my dog. Easy on & off the expressway. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast food was hot and good. Traveling alone, I felt safe.

It was convenient to plenty of places to eat and to the casino. I didn’t like that the pool was almost in the lobby with large windows where everyone coming in could view the people in the pool area. The bed was very comfortable and there was a decent chair to sit in where you could read a book and relax.

Easy location to get to, about an hr from downtown Chicago...right off the highway. Next to a movie theater. No concerns on room cleanliness. Quiet hotel. Stayed there Thur-Sun. Free breakfast included 2 hot options, scrambled eggs and meat. Sausage one day, bacon the next, and ham the last day. Pool only open from 9am-8pm, so we never got to use it. It was pretty small in size. Front desk staff very polite. Easy safe on site parking. We'd come back.

The room wasn't very clean. I never got housekeeping the entire 7 day stay. The microwave was dirty. The shower head was disgusting. The top didn't hold water. Bugs in the room including spiders, a roach, and the last day of bed bug. I was accused of planting the bed bug and denied a discount or the ability to extend my stay and a new clean room. The pool is so tiny it looks like a kiddie pool in your backyard and the gym is like a closet with three pieces of equipment. And one of the hallways wreaked of cat urine. Also wanted the side doors never locked so the security was lacking as well.

Things started off poorly when I got up from my workout, only to find out there’s no gym. That’s on me, I’ll admit, but most places have something. Then I came down for breakfast, only defined a small assortment of breads and yogurt. When I asked, about other breakfast items, I was told they only put them out on the weekend because they don’t have enough people during the week. But they advertise as serving breakfast, and a bagel and some yogurt doesn’t qualify in my books. The next day was Saturday, so I went back down for breakfast. The only addition to the poultry offering from the previous day was some pre-fabricated scrambled egg patty of some sort, not even worthy of a McDonald’s. Dreadful. And then, to top it all off, they didn’t make up my room. It’s a pet peeve of mine, I’ll admit , but it’s a minimum standard in my book. Prices have only gone up and service has gone down.

There were 2 spiders on the bed. Hair on bathroom floor and in the room and out of the room things were broken. Some items like door were fixed poorly. The elevator was next to the pool so when we got onto and off elevator there were puddles of water inside and outside of the elevator. This is a massive slip hazard. The price was more than booking price. Very disappointed.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were in room 327. The bathroom in our room was not very clean. The bathtub was dirty and the toilet seat is peeling. The drawers for the clothes were dirty. The mirrors were dirty. There are no hooks/towel bars to hang any towels or washcloths on. The bathroom door was difficult to close. The noise level was okay, except we were at the end of the hall, by the stairs, and we could hear people talking and walking in the stairwell and the door would “slam” when it closed. The beds were comfortable, though.

There was a roach crawling on my shower curtain while I was taking a shower. Unfortunately there wasn’t another king suite available to switch to so was an uncomfortable feeling all night. And they hold an additional $150 deposit even though the website says there won’t be any additional charges.

The room was kinda dirty, visible smears on the light switches, spots on walls, paper under couch and a nasty dried up orange under one of the nightstands. We checked in on a Monday and did not have maid service the whole time and we checked out on a Saturday. I even called the front desk to inquire as to why they hadn't cleaned our room, didn't get an answer but was told we were put on the list for Friday. They didn't clean Friday either. The breakfast was mediocre at best.

The staff was nice and friendly, but the hotel seemed smelly and dirty. The shower had a little bit of mold in it, and the halls & room were musty and smelly. The rug seemed dirty and the bottom of our socks gave evidence to that. The breakfast was cereal, Swiss Miss envelopes of hot chocolate, and envelopes of oatmeal. We come up into the area often to visit relatives, and I don't believe we'll be going back to this hotel.....despite the fact that the staff was friendly.

The staff was super friendly at check-in but that’s where it stopped. The first room had major issues. The sink was so scaled up that water sprayed everywhere but in the sink. When I went to take a shower the handle for the faucet fell off in my hand and cold water was running everywhere. They obviously put me in another room. The road noise seemed rather loud and when I went to look I found the window glass shattered and taped up. This place was a joke

Chose this hotel based on cost, location and pool. The pool temps were chilly. The continental breakfast started at 7 which was a little late for what we needed but it was a good breakfast. The walls are very thin! We could hear things going on all night long. But it seemed like a safe hotel.

Forget sleeping here, since the pipes make a bunch of noise anytime someone on the floor above you flushes a toilet or showers. Coffee maker, if we can rightly call it that, is in the bathroom which is just all kinds of health department violation. The sink in the bathroom is happy to spray water everywhere but in the actual sink, so I got o go meet clients with wet pants. The whole room just seemed dingy and probably has not been updated since the 90's, but you get what you pay for, I guess. With that in mind, spend the extra $20 for a better experience down the street. This location is not worth the savings, and you're going to end up fighting through traffic and subdivisions to get to any decent restarants, anyway. Save yourself the hassle.

Easily accessible. Proximal shopping and dining no options. Felt like it was recently renovated. We arrived late. Our room was ready and very nice. Only mild issues we ran into is. Soccer team slept above us, so it was loud until they went to sleep. Breakfast was as stark as we’ve ever seen. No grab and go items. Coffee was good. Check out easy.

The check-in staff was friendly. The cable signal was weak so TV was spotty. Worse, the doorknob had to be coaxed to open. Worst of all, the toilet ran all night the stopped flushing at all. I had to wait a long time (7 minutes) for someone (young man) to come to desk- he was sorry, he was on a call. So that was frustrating

I never got to stay there. They called me at 8:44pm on the day i was supposed to check in to cancel my reservation because they had no water. This was on a holiday week and i had to pay a lot more to get a different hotel on short notice.

There was an issue with the rooms being re-issued. Upon check-in there was a man saying that the room he was just given already had someone in it. At 3:30 am we were awoken by 2 guests trying to come into our room. The front desk staff blamed it on the employee that was doing the check-in when we arrived. I think they need a software upgrade as once keys are made for the room, it should not be available to another guest, Needeless to say, I was not happy getting a surprise wake up call at 3:30 am.

Our whole family was there for a funeral. The staff let us use the breakfast area for all of us to get together the night before. They also made sure we were on the same floor and nearby each other. Best thing was really how helpful and nice the staff was. The accomodations were as usual.. good, comfortable and as good as they need to be.

Total lie that it has EV chargers. All they have are the outdated CCS and even had I had an adapter you have to pay to charge. Guy at the front desk couldn’t figure out my email address though I spelled it out slowly three times. Same difficulty with my license plate. Avoid.

I booked for a day but extended to 3 days. All the front desk staff were good, kind, welcoming, approachable and responsive. They helped and served all our extra requests like additional room supplies, room extensions, and milk for the kids after hours. They were kind with kids giving candies on demand. They even accommodated food requests after the breakfast closing time. Rooms were clean. Shower was little slow but hot water coming all the time which was good.

I chose this property based on convenience to my route of travel, moderate pricing and good reviews. For a one night stay, it was more than adequate. The room was large, clean and updated. The hotel was very dated. Furniture in the lobby and eating area worn and soiled. I mentioned to the front desk that my bathtub was clogged after Thursday check-in. Our tub was still clogged after a three day stay. My family had to take showers with water over their ankles for 3 days. Breakfast was horrible hard scrambled eggs every day and broken equipment. Will never stay here again

This is your everyday average 3 star Hotel. The King Bedroom Suite is comfortably large and costs just a little more $ and is recommended. Much of the Housekeeping staff does not speak English which can be a BIG hassle. The Breakfast is VERY good with many choices including eggs/bacon/sausage or ham slices. A nice waffle maker and many other things to enjoy. HOWEVER we saw the Breakfast attendant work without plastic gloves, putting food like Bagels, muffins etc on the Buffet with her bare hands. A no no definitely. We stayed a week and did enjoy the stay. Will use this Hotel again if prices stay competitive. Also note that although the Housekeepers could not understand me, they did a good job of cleaning the room and I did leave them a tip.

Our AC was a bit to figure out; first night the room got really stuffy. Also went to buy some air freshener as the room was smelly. However the breakfast was good, fruit was very fresh. There was a variety, rolls, bread for toast, waffles, scrambled eggs. First morning there was bacon, second was sausage links and third was Canadian bacon.
