Stayed 1 night

I was lucky enough to have a $15 off coupon and I chose this hotel over my normal motel six that I stay at for five dollars more at night. Glad I did. This is much better than the Motel 6 I've been staying at when I go back home to visit. my only complaint is the mattresses are not the best and they only really have one kind of pillow also. I definitely did expect more for the mattress but these were some of the friendliest workers I've ever seen at a hotel before. and you get a really nice size small fridge plus a larger freezer. Which is good because when I travel I go with my food to save money! and I was shocked how big the room was! generally I hate being anywhere above the first floor because I hate how slow elevators are but they were pretty quick here!

Hotel was nothing like I expected. I booked for one night, thankfully because it smelled, the beds were horrible, the microwave was slow and the tv sound was unbearable. Upon entering the hotel things look nice but once we got to our floor the carpet smelled so bad I had to use air freshener just to sit in the room. The ironing board was filthy. Over the window were really bad water stains. I’ll probably never stay at a Wyndham again.

Stayed 3 nights

I stayed here for 3 nights while in Chicago. I know the reviews are not great but it served it's purpose and it was okay. Nothing was falling apart for me but there was wear and tear. Everything seems clean in the room. The bedding and pillows were great. Some cons: 1) No pool - does not work and does not look like it has worked in several years, despite their website and hotels.com saying they offer a pool. 2) In my room, the sink was letting out HOT on the cold side of the sink and COLD on the hot side of the sink. 3) They said they offer breakfast at the place attached the hotel for a fee. However, they never were there to offer breakfast. We asked the hotel and they told us that the place just "decided not to open today". We know it was a working restaurant since we saw a lot of parties at night, but never opened for Breakfast despite multiple signs for breakfast and the hours. I don't think I would stay there again but it did serve it's purpose which was to sleep. The staff was fine... nothing wrong with any interactions. Overall, it was okay but definitely disappointing - especially to not have the pool.

Stayed 3 nights

It was the third time I've stayed there. The first two were just fine. This stay, not so much. Did not receive maid service for the entirety of my stay. Left at no later than noon all three days. On day two, the "smart TV" lost the wi-fi connection and it never came back. Told the front desk, and was told someone would fix it. No one came to fix it. The pool was covered and not open for what has apparently the whole season. The elevator smelled of urine for all three days. They knew about it, because on day one they sprayed disinfectant, but not again. Parking is impossible, more cars in the lot than people staying there. And finally, it's advertised as a Wyndham Garden, it is NOT a Wyndham Garden, it is a Baymont that they continue to leave the sign on to make people think it's worth more than $65 a night. Will not stay again.
