Guest reviews

What guests think

AI-generated summary based on recent guest reviews

Radisson Hotel Schaumburg draws mixed reactions, with many guests reporting significant cleanliness and maintenance problems alongside intermittent signs of improvement, while some appreciate comfortable beds, quiet rooms, and a convenient location near dining, shopping, and major roads. Common facility problems include a closed or out‑of‑service pool, broken ice machines and elevators, and a small or partially broken gym. Service feedback is inconsistent, with reports of long or understaffed check‑ins and slow responses, though several guests found front‑desk staff pleasant. Rooms feel dated with recurring Wi‑Fi or TV limitations and nonworking fixtures, and breakfast is often unavailable or very limited despite being advertised. Expect a budget stay with trade‑offs rather than a polished experience.

My previous stay here was not great due to no internet connection. I gave the location one more opportunity, and this time, the internet service was stronger but still gave out at times. Front desk staff was more helpful this time and checking in went smoother as well. They would be better served by trying to make their internet service stronger.

Stayed 3 nights

This started off by there being no office chair I needed to ask 4 times and after 3 hours I finally got one but needed to carry it up using the stairs due to non-working elevators. It had been a long day, so I inquired about the bar, NO BAR! As I stated long day and hungry thinking, I will order something and take it to the room well, NO RESTURANT of course all of this is listed on the website. Next morning hungry from going to bed without dinner and looking forward to the advertised breakfast I go down to ask where breakfast is served, the response NO BREAKFAST not even continental. Keys also did not work with four issued; I am not blaming the lobby staff. Who I am placing blame on is the management. The management has an obligation to maintain amenities for client satisfaction, deliver what you say no matter what it is or who it is promised to, this includes staff. The staff in the lobby are the faces of the business, and I can't imagine the number of times they must apologize for-management shortcomings and be embarrassed because of it. I asked a manager to call me and no surprise NO CALL. Management has fraudulently listed amenities that do not exist. After staying 3 nights, I can honestly state after 40 years of travel, this was the worst Hotel I had had the displeasure of staying in. To the management, save face and remove yourselves from employment at this establishment.

Stayed 1 night

For a Radisson hotel, I'm really disappointed because I booked through Expedia or hotels. dot com. They gave me the crappiest room in the hotel. One elevator is not working and had to be switched rooms. Because when I came back to my room later, the whole floor was soken wet. Along with the hallway, they did accommodate me. And give me a better room which is crazy to me. They should give you a nice room, regardless of who you go through or how you pay. There was no phone in my first room. The TV doesn't work. The Wi-Fi is lagging. It's a okay place to stay.Maybe for 1 night, if you're in dire need
