Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis Downtown

I didnt know they had breakfast. No one told me at checkin. Convenient indoor walk to convention center but the elevators are terrifying. 3 times they started beeping and the help phone was ringing, then the elevator just got stuck there after we got off. Every time we came back all 3 elevators were in use. The beds are hard and the pillows are flat. Not good for the neck but i liked the stay overall for the convenience and how clean everything was. Please fix the elevators. Will be back next year.

Employees were all very kind and friendly, rooms were clean and modern. The gym was well equipped and very clean.

Parking is a bit confusing

I did not like that there was no pool on the property. Everything was overpriced if I bought water or chips. It was a good location and things were within walking distance

The hotel itself was very clean and friendly. However to pay $35/d per car to park and to have to drive around for 45minutes to find a spot is ridiculous. If I am paying for a parking spot then I should have a spot somewhere in the garage. No microwave in the room but a fridge was available.

Parking is too expensive

Location was great to downtown. Parking was terrible for hotel guests since anybody could park in garage. Didn’t have any room for parking on Saturday night and still got charged for the night.

My stay was overall good but the location has a few drawbacks. The air conditioning of the room was very weak, even at the lowest setting it never reached that temperature and I was frequently warm. The second big drawback is the parking, $35 a night is a bit high especially when the parking entrance system was a bit outdated. They should lower or remove the rate for your first vehicle.

My husband, my two daughters and I stayed at the Hotel as we had Indiana Fever BB tickets and it was close to the arena. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room got upgraded from a standard two queen bed to a larger two queen room, and we were placed on the 15th floor. When we got back to the hotel after the Fever game we got onto the elevator, with 4 other people, we got to what I am assuming was the second floor as the number said “2” and the elevator stopped, and the door wouldn’t open, we were stuck in the elevator for a good 10 minutes, we had to push the elevator button for help, it dispatched what we thought was the fire department as it said something about an emergency at the hotel, gave the address and hotel name, about 5 minutes after that the doors opened and we got out, we then had to walk up 14 flights of stairs to get to the 15th floor where our hotel room was, my husband and I were the only two adults in the elevator with our two daughters, the other 4 people that were stuck as well were teenage girls who were freaking out and panicking, and thought they were going to die. It was a very traumatic event for everyone in the elevator. I was glad that we weren’t stuck for hours, and we were able to talk to the girls in the elevator and help calm them down. One of my biggest fears came to life and I hope to never experience it again.

Desk staff and restaurant staff were pleasant and very helpful. None of the ice machines worked. We had to get ice from the front desk. Our room was not cleaned. We had to request fresh towels.

Excellent place to stay with skywalk access to the convention center. Many restaurants within walking distance. Hotel is clean and quiet. Decent fitness center.

The room and entire hotel were both spotless! Staff was helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel! Well done!

Check-in was smooth, quick, and staff were incredibly friendly. The room was very clean & I appreciated the exceptionally clean bathroom/shower. While we didn’t take advantage of the breakfast or coffee shop in the lobby, it was always filled with people, which is a good sign. And it was staffed!

Overall this was a great hotel. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, clean bathroom, good sized rooms. Good black out curtains. The AC was lacking and could not go below 71 degrees despite calling maintenance daily to fix it. The ice machines were broken. Other than those two things I would say everything was great.

The north wing is right next to the outdoor amphitheater so it can get loud.

Room excellent except you could t Sleep at night due to racing cars and noise. Until after 3am it was like the Indy 500 Was out our room. Valet guy did not assist At all with luggage or say hello. The 2 younger valets on Sunday were excellent.

Had a great view of the baseball stadium and concert stage.

Parking was super convenient. The parking garage having color coded areas helped a ton! Worth the $35 a day. Also loved that the hotel had a skywalk to the convention center. Made it super easy to get back and forth! Pillows were not the best, pretty soft.

The rooms were hot and would not cool down. We got 3 rooms and we were all hot.

The mattress was worn out with a ridge down the middle and sloped to the side. This alone was unacceptable. Lighting was dim and only by shaded lamps. There were many unilluminated spaces in the room. The room coffee was horrid. The powdered creamer was not much better. The print on the shower products, printed in light green, was unintelligible. The product design in Germany, gravity squeeze and bright white print, was far superior packaging. Elevator call buttons did not illuminate when selected. Panel buttons were non standard inside the elevators. Water temperature was tepid at best and pressure weak. The added charge for parking was not clear in the reservation on Expedia, but worked well. The staff were friendly and pleasant.

Very clean! The bed was very comfortable!

I don’t know if it’s because I had a late check-in, but my check-in process was so inhospitable that I decided to let the facility keep my money and booked at another place nearby…. Counter service was not ideal and the staff that I believe was supposed to be doing the cleaning sat there staring me up and down inappropriately. So I left.

Front desk staff are some of the friendliest I have encountered. Cudo's to them.

Getting home after a long day at the FFA Convention, it was nice to have a limited bar in the lobby to grab a drink and head to your room. It was also great having delicious coffee in the morning on yoir way to another long fun packed day! The staff was all very friendly!

The staff was amazing. Expedia told me they had changed my check-in date for me - which was a lie! The manager found an available room for me and helped me with everything from check-in to check-out! She and staff took my bad start for the weekend and made it great.

Check in was great with Mike; made us feel welcomed. Check out was easy. Shower was amazing!

The staff in all areas were friendly, professional, and accomodating. The room was very clean and well put together.

The hotel was fine as as well as as the room. Can’t imagine why we sat in the lobby for three hours waiting on a room when I’m sure at least one was ready. Also immediately asked for two more pillows. They said they would take care of immediately and of course, we never received them

Check in was 3, at 430, room still not ready for check in. Staff could care less, repeated over and over, nothing we can do and offered nothing.

Great location for Indiana Comic Con. With the skywalk, the rainy weekend did not dampin our weekend! The room was clean, bed comfortable and the staff was so nice. We will be staying again!!

Great location if you want to see a concert at White River State Park. Getting to the hotel was a little tough with all of the road construction, but the hotel is good.

Solid place for an overnight stay. Right down the street from the stadiums. A little bit of a hike to the center of downtown (10-15 minute walk). Breakfast is pricey ($50.00 for two yogurt parfaits and fruit cups). Staff is very friendly and helpful. Phenomenal gym!

The food and service at the Bistro was amazing

The front desk lied and told me there was no parking less expensive than the $35 parking at the hotel. I found cheaper parking directly across the street. Also, no breakfast? Every respectable hotel offers a breakfast. I will not be staying here again.

I was disappointed that the hotel didn’t have breakfast included with the costs if one night it would have been nice to have even a continental breakfast!

The staff was very kind and helpful throughout the stay. The air conditioning unit was very loud and would do an unexpected loud clunking sound periodically during the night. The Bistro restaurant serves delicious food. We are there several times during our stay. I received my food Saturday morning from Ebony who fixed the best french toiast that I have ever had.

We went for a weekend concert at TCU amphitheater and the hotel was directly across the street which worked out perfect! It was comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. Starbucks was conveniently located in the lobby and food from the bistro was ok. All in all it was a great weekend!

The water was empty a lot and you should offer complimentary cofffee in restaurant Most other courtyards around the country offer this. We were a at conference and the lines were so long at the restaurant we were not able to purchase anything all weekend

The room was nice. Opportunity for improvement There is coffee in the room but no where on the property to buy milk. I dont like waiting for the Starbucks window to open in order to buy overpriced coffee
