La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Indianapolis North

The inside pool was out of service, my son was disappointed with the pool situation. I wish the app can update the pool is out of service.

The pool was closed for construction and this was not communicated to us prior to arriving. The AC in the room was either not working properly or was being restricted somehow. I was told that even if you turn it all the way down to 60 (the lowest setting) that it will not go below 70 in the room so we dealt with a warm room throughout our stay. The breakfast options were very limited. The staff was friendly and the room was clean.

Everything was great and super clean. Staff was nice. Unfortunately we did not swim because the pool room was too cold for our liking with the temp of the water.

It was okay for the price. Pool was under maintenance, I was not notified of such when I booked. Make sure you double and triple check. Breakfast was ok. Bit much of variation. The hotel seems to be under renovation and it’s a bit outdated. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

We booked this property as the pictures showed it had a pool. Upon arrival the pool was under maintenance and my daughter was extremely upset. We came to this hotel for a lacrosse tournament and stayed

The property is clearly not maintained or kept up properly. They have obvious water damage and our third floor hotel room had a large hole in the floor by the a/c unit. They covered the hole with carpet, but it was still very clearly there. The floor seemed uneven and I called the front desk to ask for another room. The guy running the front desk (who was the only employee I saw working there the entire time) said there were no other rooms. I went down to the lobby and said that we were just going to find another hotel and magically another room was offered. That room had no working heat, so we were forced to switch rooms a second time. The pool was supposed to be heated but was barely warm. The vents and tiles in the pool area were broken and warped. The breakfast was subpar and I was incredibly disappointed to have paid $170 for this hotel experience. I will never stay here again and I will most likely never stay at any La Quinta Inn again based off this experience. Horrible!!

Housekeeping didn't come over a three-night stay, even when requested. Pool was closed. No discount was offered for these issues.

Pool was FREEZING. The room for the pool was FREEZING. Breakfast was daylight savings time so it ended earlier and we didnt get it :( staff seemed nice. Room was pretty good. Just needed a quick stay and it worked. Room service menu was old..they said thats an old menu. So they told me to look online at the new one. Was an ok place. Id say its overpriced for what it is for sure. But good enough

The hotel smelled like smoke, people smoking.

My stay was ok until the evening when there was an invasion of stink bugs. I couldn't determine where they were coming from and went to the front desk where he blew me off and basically said it's my problem then pretended to call someone and said they would be up there and no one ever arrived also had to kill what appeared to be a roach from behind the dresser..

Very outdated, shower had grey tape on the wall,floor was warped, we stayed 5nights sheets were only changed one time, room was never cleaned towels didnt get changed everyday

Our room was very dirty. We noticed a gross smell as soon as we walked in. The drawers all had dirt and other gross stuff in them. Some drawers were missing handles. The mattresses and box springs both had gross stains and one of the beds had a cigarette burn hole in the sheets. We paid ahead online but when we arrived they charged us a random 100$ deposit fee. Absolutely would not recommend.

The hotel had a weird smell to it. In our room, there was unfinished drywall mud, the door to the bathroom was chipped off, the doors to the rooms need painted, the mattresses had stains all over them, the lamp next to the bed didn’t work, the cable in our room didn’t work and there were kids jumping up and down and being loud in the room above us. Needless to say we didn’t stay. The staff was fairly friendly, but they really need to upkeep this hotel.

Had to ask for new sheets and blankets because there was hair on the bedsheet, and a big stain on the blanket. Front dest was happy to bring new blankets, but just handed them to me and I had to remake my bed.

Stay away. Nothing about this property is nice. Dirty, loud, water went out, broken elevator, 1 staff member on staff not helpful, and dirty sheets. I can go on….!

The whole building smelled like marijuana. The carpets were dirty to the point that my feet got dirty walking on them. The refrigerator in my room did not work. The Continental breakfast was bad ( yogurt out of date, waffles gummy, no hot water for the instant oatmeal or tea bags). No lotion provided for use. Only one ice machine. Not much to offer in “after hours” food choices. No stopper in tub for a bath.

The hotel was OK but there were ants in our room. My friend also had some ants in his bed. There were very limited staff. Our room only was cleaned 3 out of the 5 nights we were there. Breakfast was run by the front desk staff which took longer especially on busy mornings

The room had a weird smell. They switched me from one room and the next smelled worse. Half of lights and outlets didn’t work.

The bed was sooooooo HARD. REALLY. Like a padded slab. Everything else was great. A lot of noise because i was 2 doors down from the elevator. It quieted down over night.

Our room was clean, smelled good, beds were comfy. But..overall it just need a yotal renovation. The coffee maker had to be moved to plug in because there was absolutely no outlets where it was sitting. Refrigitator was not imside rhe furniture where it belongs. TV is so tiny..I haven't seen one like that in years in hotel rooms. Paints is chipping everywhere in the room. Fan in the bathroom ceiling definitely needs replaced. And the light in the middle of the bathroom ceiling was not secured, with a bulb that doesn't belong. Overall stay was ok, hotel just needs a lot of renovations. Start from the walls. Service was good. Friendly front desk clerk.

We had to change rooms three times. The first room had a hole in the floor and a slanted uneven floor on the third floor. When I called the front desk, he said there were no other rooms available. We went down and told him it was unsafe and we needed to find another hotel, magically more rooms became available. The second room had no working heat and it is 25 degrees outside. The third room was acceptable, but smaller. Never had so many problems with a La Quinta, but never staying at another one again after this experience.

Rooms are getting on the jaded side. Doors were having issues fully closing, gaps at the top of doors etc.

The rooms need a lot of work especially the bathroom. The door going into room 103 looks like it’s been beat on.

This place looked like a third world country. Walking in, the lobby has damage to the ceiling and an interesting smell. I get to my room and half the light don’t work. The tv doesn’t work (had to have the manager fix it) and the carpet has a very subtle yet distinct smell of dog urine. The carpet felt wet in spots. The chair in the room covered in stains. Bed was actually kind of comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Pillows were flat.

The fellow who checked me in and out was friendly enough yet the age of the hotel is showing. The floor sunk some next to the bathtub, the doors look like they have been tampered with at the locks area, the key cards didn’t work efficiently and the included breakfast was minimal. I had higher expectation based on the reviews I had read.

To be honest, this is the worst hotel that my family and I have ever stayed with. To start, I understand that the weekend we visited, there was a frisbee tournament, so things were very busy. That being said, the entire experience was terrible. We stood in line at check-in, while the manager(sitting in a chair) stood to tell us that we needed to wait for his attendee to return from break to check-in. There was a literal line of people waiting, out the door. The room was not stocked with towels, same for the pool area(which was undesirable.) At breakfast, we went down before church and there was no food to speak of. I asked the attendant, who was just sitting on his phone, if he could re-stock since MANY were waiting. He seemed burdened to help us. We waited for a long time, just for them to bring out sausages that were still frozen in the middle. They stocked the bare minimum of food, which was quickly emptied by the majority who were waiting. The kitchen area was disgusting and not cleaned. Everything including coffee, was empty and the staff didn't seem bothered that people were waiting, when they were just sitting around staring at their guests. The experience overall was horrible and MANY of the guests in the eating area agreed, WE WILL NEVER RETURN. Which is sad, because we visit the area frequently and could have been frequent guests of the hotel. The staff was lazy and rude and I can honestly say that I have never complained, but others need to know! DON'T STAY HERE!

Hotel was pretty unkempt. Our hotel key never worked so we had to go to the front desk every time to get in the room. Pool vents clearly had mold. We had a pet, paid for the pet, and when one of the workers came to let us in our room (since we never had working keys) he immediately ran back and called us accusing us of not paying for the pet. When I reassured we did he said he would have his manager check in the morning to make sure we are telling the truth. It was super rude especially after we'd been so patient with not having access to our room easily so many times.

The guy at the front desk was very helpful nice guy no complaints with the property.

The staff was rude and disrespectful. The hotel was dirty and unkept. When we got our room key and went to our room, we walked in on someone due to staff putting us in someone else room. This was done on more than one occasion. Staff name was Yesh

No pool. And staff when u had a cincern let it go in one ear and out the other. No help.

CROOKED MANAGEMENT. BOOKED ON EXPEDIA AT 9:00 PM AFTER A LOMG DAY OF TRAVELING ONLY TO GET THERE AND FOUND NO ONE TO CHECK ME IN. AFTER NUMEROUS CALLS ON THE HOUSE PHONE TRYING TO FIND SOMEONE, AND WALKING THE HALLS LOOKING FOR ANYONE I LEFT. NEITHER EXPEDIA NOR THE GM WOULD REFUND ME!! NEVER AGAIN WITH EXPEDIA OR LAQUINTA!!!!! OBVIOUSLY, NO ONE CAN HANDLE THE TRUTH.

The property when pulling up is surrounded by lots that have not been kept up (tall weeds, garbage, etc.). The parking lot there also had weeds and garbage and did not give a good first impression. Inside the lobby, there was damage or possibly construction going on, but no work was happening while we were there. Walls had peeling wallpaper, dings in the wall and chipped paint everywhere. The pool looked like it had not been cleaned, and our kids did not go in it. Inside the room was generally clean, but again, the paint everywhere was chipped, like it hasn't been maintained. The floor in the bathroom had a soft spot, like there was previous water damage covered up by a cheap vinyl floor. The staff was rarely at the front desk, and was not dressed professionally in any manner. I would not recommend staying there.

Just know that if you book with a third party they will refuse to give you a receipt when you check out. But, over all the beds were comfortable, the room was clean and the breakfast was good. Price was very fair. Thank you.

Needs an update in some rooms and better breakfast breakfast was bad needs a better cook

The interior was worn from use. Much of the paint was chipped off of the doors and entry way to the guest room. The wall had been patched where a hole was made from the door handle. The swing lock was loose as though from a forced entry. The breakfast was mediocre at best.
