I walked in and a roach was on the floor. Easy enough to deal with. Looked in bathroom, roach in shower tub. I’m noticing a pattern. Looked at bed, stains and burn marks, seems normal. Pulled back the covers for whatever reason, roach was on the bed. All this within the first five minutes. The next five minutes were spent reserving a room at a hotel 15 minutes away. I don’t even care to try for a refund. I barely have any self respect, but I have enough to never spend more than 10 minutes in a pigsty like that.

We’re a touring band just looking for a place to crash for the night between gigs, so our standards are pretty low when it comes to hotels. This wasn’t the worst place we’ve ever stayed, but it was pretty close. First, when we tried to check in, the woman at the front desk was on her phone. We waited. Full 15 minutes before she even acknowledged us. She then informed us that the only room available didn’t lock from the outside. Not great when we’re traveling with expensive gear. We weren’t able to leave the room or else someone could just walk in. The towels need to be replaced. I’ve never seen towels so stained at a hotel. They looked like cleaning rags. There was no remote for the tv or hairdryer. And, the bed was the most uncomfortable any of us had ever experienced. We’re all in pain after one sleep on the matters. We got what we paid for. It was a cheap place to crash for the night.

Room has water damage to the ceiling and wall by the sink light and presence of black mold. Toilet had black burn spots on the seat as well as on the tub. There were gashes in various spots on the walls. Flooring tile was worn down and buckeling around the edges. Bathroom door had a big crack along the bottom and the door wood trim was damaged either from termites or water. The front door had damaged door trim and a gap allowing flies to get in. I recommend checking out the rooms before you pay.
