The staff & the hotel were wonderful . . However, we couldnt really relax & enjoy the pool like we wanted to because there was about 10-15 young screaming & very rude kids w/adults who did nothing about their kids being ridiculously loud & rude!!!! After a long day of walking through the Children's Museum & being tired & sore . . We wanted a nice relaxing swim (in what we thought would be a heated pool) . . We ended up w/an extremely loud, rude & lukewarm experience. . . Why was the pool not heated? The only other complaint was the elevators were really small & extremely s-l-o-w!!! . . Our room was great though & the staff were very helpful & friendly

Staff very friendly. Room was adequate. Complimentary breakfast was okay although fruit juice was limited to orange juice (other dispenser port was broken) . Building is worn and needs some work. Elevator at lobby was questionable in its operation. Very slow, floor alignment to engage door was extremely concerning and an cab overhead light was constantly flickering. Two building lampshades were missing at Canal egress. Throughout our 4 night stay, there was a drink stain on front entrance portico which no one addressed. Not Marriott's standards (I hope)!

The remote control didn’t have batteries, there was no soap and shampoo in the shower. The pool chemicals are not balanced our eyes were burning just being in the pool are. We got a view to the parking lot instead of the city. The location is amazing that staff was friendly and helpful the place was clean. The riverwalk is right there you can walk out the hotel directly to the canal walk. That was a lot of fun.

In the description it shows a hot tub and a pool table. That is one of the big reasons why we selected this hotel. There was none of those. The TV remote worked here and there. Other than not the room was good. Just really wish that we didn't pay that much and we didn't get what we thought we were going to get. We don't get much time together to do things I was really hoping to be able to get in the hot tub and play pool and stuff together.

The front desk help were very nice. The location is great, but parking was $33/night, which seemed excessive. The hotel facility is relatively clean and maintained, but the elevator is noisy and there was some type of machine noise outside our room the first night. Not sure if it was nearby construction. The breakfast was great - lot of choices and good hours for it. Main bed was comfortable, but my son told me the sofa bed was horrible - could feel every spring in it.

This is by far the filthiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The hotel was infested with ants! We were moved to two separate rooms ( at 10 pm) and both were infested with ants! Also the furniture, wall and all fixtures were covered in dirt.

They did not properly clean after the last guests checked out. Left a full trash can, and food in the refrigerator. Called down to the desk and 5 hours later, still no help. Went down myself and luckly Mr. Luke (Thank him for his service) went out of his way (wasn’t his job) to rectify this with the upmost professionalism and urgency. For 234$ a night my wife was severely disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay here. Room was very spacious. Was impressed by the full kitchen, although we didn't need to use it. Living room was large and nice. Couch was pull out bed for our son, and he said it was comfortable (mattress might have been thin for adults, but was fine for children). Master was very comfortable. Swimming pool was used by multiple families and appeared fun. Breakfast in the morning was good (eggs, sausage, bagels, oatmeal, etc). Convenient location, easy walk to Lucas Oil Stadium. Would stay here again.

The room was very nice. Large with a full kitchen. Only negative was the pullout sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The attached walkway on the canal is so nice to take a stroll through. It was winter when I went but it was still nice. I want to stay again in the summer. I would definitely recommend.

It was just a bit dated. The bathroom sink was cracked and the stopper didn't fully close. The windows were very dirty. The iron was scorched. There was no room safe so I declined room service the whole time I was there. On the positive side: great location, nearby grocery but just one cafe, walkable even after midnight, very good front desk staff; excellent Hoosier biscuits and gravy with the complimentary breakfast.

We had our reservation for this specific hotel relocated to a different hotel 20 miles away due to a “long term resident” extending their stay. Notice was given same day as check in around 1100 with a 3 pm check in time. We picked the specific hotel due to location. Very poor customer service, no mention of discount due to relocation or any other offer, just notification that we were being moved. Asked for full refund.

Upon arrival at 9:00 pm witnessed a gunshot in the parking lot among arguing individuals. We returned to the car and left. Unfortunately this is Indianapolis today! Terrible Mayor and Police leadership. Gun violence is all over Indy now. BTW I am a lifelong member of the NRA. It's not the gun that makes the choice.

We enjoyed wallking on the Canal Walk every day. We were about 15 minute walk from downtown places, but were able to walk to Indiana State Museum on Canal Walk. Breakfast was good.

Not much next to this hotel so getting anything you need like groceries or a meal is a real pain- if you don’t have a car. Hotel is worn, tired carpets and hallways. No bar or small meals available unless you walk to the next hotel over and they have a very basic set up and the food isn’t good. The room space is large and there’s an empty fridge. 😃 wouldn’t stay there again as there are other hotels nearer to what’s going on with more amenities.

Bought a room with a city view but it was mostly blocked, toilet never worked and had to use lobby restroom, a lady was mugged in the parking lot, no security, someone entered our room with announcing themselves

Didn’t care for the $30 charge to park. That surprised me. Also, the heavy bushes on the outside towards New York Avenue provide a very dark space and little view from any direction. Guest protection could be difficult in that space. Overall price was not a good value.

Toilet wasnt flushing, no maintenance in the building. Asked for a plunger to take care of the toilet myself. Beds were uncomfortable, especially the pullout. Couch itself was crooked and uncomfortable as well. Only good thing at breakfast was waffles. Eggs, sausage and biscuits were cold both days. Pool was nice.

Great stay for a family coming in for a game. Breakfast enough for adults and kids. Would have appreciated the breakfast staff being a little friendlier and the people above us a little quieter after 10pm, but over all a good experience.
