Baymont by Wyndham Paducah

The room was nice and compy. Front desk staff also great.

Reserved 2 rooms. 3p check in time but room was not ready until 5p. Had to wait in lobby for 2 hours to check in. Another family was there before me. Owner or Mgr on duty as well as talking loudly /arguing in lobby using profanity. Upon check in to rooms, One room had No lights or lamps other than the bathroom and over the bathroom mirror. Room 2 had 3 lamps so we used one of theirs. Was told room 2 had a tv. It did have a tv that was not plugged nor had any wiring in back. No telephone in room. To contact front desk. Front desk was not-manned most of the time. Numerous guests complained about key not working or only working for one day. Front desk person said it was programmed that way. Ridiculous to get key updated every day. Toilet did not flush as it should. I was very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel.

I don’t know where people left reviews as 10 out of 10 the place was absolutely terrible carpet was ripped up going into the bathroom. Trim was falling off. The sink was held up by a 2 x 4 and leaning like 2 inches a guy hanging out the third floor window smoking and yelling. It’s supposed to be a non-smoking, I’ve stayed in a lot of motels. I don’t say anything bad unless it’s really bad but this was the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in 63 years. And you can’t understand the people running the hotel, they sure the hell don’t speak English! Slept there 4-5 hours and left at 3:30 in the morning it was that bad. And the “free wi-fi wouldn’t work even asked the the guy at the desk and still couldn’t get it to work. All the exterior doors were blocked open and we checked our window and found it to be unlocked! Felt so unsafe there, I will never trust reviews of hotel rooms again

Mediocre at best.. it wasn’t the cleanest. I will say the breakfast was good, however it was incredibly limited. Very outdated and several things needed spruced up.

Staff and management were very helpful and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable.
