We’ll NEVER stay here again. We went here because it had a hot tub. It wasn’t working. The TV was out for over a day. We had something that needed to be kept frozen and the freezer was completely iced over. The water pressure was very low. The door to the room was out of square and hits the door jamb, making it hard to open or close. The morning we were leaving, there was a semi making a delivery outside our window and woke us up at 6am. We’ll stay at Margaritaville next time.

Our stay was in room 1314, the fridge was not working in our room and the air conditioner was loud and did not cool very well. Outside of that the hotel was very nice very clean and I would stay here again. They had a free shuttle anywhere in a 5 mile radius. The lady that brought us to dinner and to the event we were going to was very, very nice she was a good communicator and was on time for drop offs and pick ups.

Our visit to this Hilton Garden Inn was one of the worse visits we’ve experienced with Hilton. Only one Scotsman ice machine was working. We had to go down to the main lobby for ice and bottled water. The AC was set at 65 but never dropped below 70. Only two handicapped parking places on our side of the facility. First Hilton to not have a free breakfast. Hallways were hot and had a musty odor. If we book again it will be at Home2Suites

Upon checking in, I went straight to the room while my husband parked. When I walked into our room I could smell that it was recently cleaned, which was great in my books. However, the bathroom told another story. Unfortunately, you could visually see discoloration in multiple areas of the shower. I immdiately when to the front host, who was more than gracious to move us to a better room. She was professional and personally inspected the room prior to her assigning it to us. It made a big difference in the situation. The 4 star is more customer service related, than the condition of the property itself.

My room was not clean. The bathroom was dirty, with mold in the shower. There was dust and dirt throughout my room, which made for a very poor travel experience for my wife and me. I had booked a handicap-accessible room, but due to my late check-in I was not able to get it changed. I paid way too much for a room that wasn't clean. The front desk told my wife that someone would contact us the morning to get our room changed, but they did not. I am beyond disappointed with my Hilton stay.

Check in was fast and easy, easy to park and get to room. Where this hotel needs help is cleanliness. I will admit, I am a neat freak but this is my second time to stay at this hotel. The first time was better because the room was cleaner. This time, I was in room 1233 and the shower had black mold and pink mold in it that I was able to wipe down with the wash cloth. That tells me that the showers are NOT scrubbed down. There was also other people's hair in the shower and on the bathroom near the toilet. I could see grass on the floor and dust under the bed. At a glance, the room looks nice but when you start really looking at things, it's not really deep cleaned.

Honestly, disappointed in my stay. I booked a king room less than an hour before arriving. Apparently a king room was "not available". Which, I don't really know to be true. I was moved to a room with two queens. I usually don't pay attention to cleanliness but, I payed significantly more to stay here than another hotel, and was disappointed. The bed didn't smell clean, there were hairs all around the pillow area and in the bathroom. Mold in the grout in the bathroom. Which, I expect if I pay 60 bucks for a room. Not over a hundred. There was a dirty tank top under one of the beds. Honestly, just not what I would expect for this chain, at this price. If it was Motel 6 I would be like "this tracks". Disappointed.

The room was not clean. As a nurse I first checked the bathroom, tub was obviously not cleaned but I carry my own spray cleaner, no biggy. I then check the AC filters.. disgusting. I could roll up the dirty “lint” appearing stuff and the entire unit. The filters are plastic and a damp rag and/or running water then dry off takes care of it. The air filters were troublesome to me due to flue and Covid. I imagine most or all the filters and units in the rooms have not been cleaned and a room should have some type of aroma of “clean “ when you enter. It states Lysol, no Lysol was used in my room. This type of experience is why I carry my own cleaner and have to help out. Shame , shame.

We got the king suite thinking it would be a little quieter but both nights of our stay was very noisy. We tried to call the desk for help but no one answered. My husband had to go to the front desk both nights to get help.

Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were very flat and there was only one cup in the room to drink out of. Fire alarm went off in the room twice early in the morning and once in the hall.

Room was great very roomy with a mini fridge and microwave. Coffee was there but I didn’t use it. Amazing property and room location was perfect in back corner with elevator on one side to bring my two small dogs for an overnight getaway. Will definitely stay again.

Rating the different staff. Night front staff. Poor quality and customer service. Charged me twice for the room even after I told them I paid for it through Expedia. Then the room once we got in had toe nails along bed frame and hair all on the floor. The cleanliness of the room for a Hilton brand and particularly the Garden inn hotel is subpar and sad excuse for the Hilton brand. Once I told the front staff about the toe nails and hair their concern was negligible and I was told someone would contact me tomorrow morning about the charges and the room. Truly a sad excuse for customer service. The day front staff was a stark difference. She had empathy and apologized for the issue and would pass it along to the manager. I still have yet to hear from a manager and I am giving them a business day before calling. The Hilton brand says they guarantee you have a good stay or they will fix it. It was a poor experience overall and I hope they can make this right. The breakfast staff was an absolute delight they greeted us and asked about our travel and overall were kind and caring. Overall poor experience at the Hilton garden inn in Shreveport.

When we arrived at the hotel, after the check-in time, we were told our room was not ready. The lobby was completely full of other guests whose rooms were not ready as well. We finally left and found another hotel to stay at. No explanation was given by front desk on why rooms were not ready and why they did not communicate this to the room full of guests.

My reservation clearly stated check in time was at 3:00 the person at the front desk refused to check me in. I was told I had to wait until 4:00. I watched other guests check in. I showed the confirmation stating a 3:00 check in and asked for a manager. I was told no manager was available. I was finally allowed to check in at 3:25 after giving up my king size reservation for a queen even though I watched 3 other guest check into a king size room after my initial request to check in.

Not a fan of their policy requiring housekeeping to be by appointment only. They dressed it as “making your stay as uninterrupted as possible” as if housekeeping can’t simply walk past a do not disturb sign. When I did request for fresh towels to be sent up, they never were and I had to go to the front desk and get some. Very annoying after a long day to have to chase down basic amenities that literally any other hotel would accommodate. Enough for me to not recommend any Hilton Garden and avoid staying at any Hilton branded hotel going forward.

Friendly staff helping with whatever was needed. Super clean room, spacious and accommodating! Special shoutout to the security guard who went out of his way to get me ice for our room and cooler, since the ice machines in our hallway were not working. Had a wonderful weekend here and will definitely be back!!

It was good for the area. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance, however the sidewalks are crumbling and not safe to walk on. Room was clean, bed was big, and lots of work space. Afternoon staff were busy, but morning staff were awesome!

The property is maintained well all things considered and the staff was nice and accommodating. That said, our room had an old stinch and the bathroom was rusting In areas pretty bad (likely from the property just being old). We were disappointed that we didn’t have anyone clean our rooms for a 3 night stay (despite being told someone would come at least 1 time during our stay). The breakfast was great though and there was a made to order option.

Only thing I found I didn’t like was they charged for breakfast. I don’t mind paying for breakfast, they charged $35.75 for 2 breakfast’s that was the same thing that Hamilton Inn or LaQuanta included for free. It was nothing more than a continental breakfast.

When we checked in they said breakfast was from a certain time to another, and did not let us know it wasn’t free breakfast but $16.99 a person. When we went down in the morning with 8 people in our group and had rented 3 rooms. We were very upset that we had no free breakfast with our stay. This was one of the reasons we stayed there. We talked to a manager about not being told and he was very rude and not apologetic at all. We all left and will never be staying at a Hilton again. Very poor customer service!

Buffet was 16 per plate and food was stale and old and ants on tables. Room had no air. Nothing they could do. 85 def in room all week. Front desk did nothing to help.
