My son is in a wheelchair. We tried to park at the only space marked for handicap parking. There was a new pickup parked in the spot. I told the staff at the front desk. The lady knew who owns the truck and said she would ask him to move it. This person has something to do with the breakfast food in the morning. He did move it but this morning when we went to leave he had parked his truck so close to our van that there was no way for my son to get his wheelchair to access the van. I had to move it so he could get in. There were no indications that his vehicle was a handicap

The room and parking lot smelled like marijuana. People were hanging out in the parking lot around vehicles. Did not feel safe bringing my children here. I will never book this property again.

The hotel was very run-down looking. I understand hurricane Ida had some serious impact on the property, but we were hoping the restaurant would be up and running. The room was sort of clean. There was dust on some items, the lamps and clock were not plugged in, and the phone did not work. The A/C unit did not work until we unplugged, then plugged it in again and kept the room very cool. The sheets were clean, but had stains on them. We were disappointed to find all hotel rooms in Houma were double the price as last year, with 1/2 the services available. The front desk ladies were VERY kind and helpful, just wished the property was more up to date and re-modeled.

The room was definitely sub-par for a Ramada. Felt more like a roadside motel. No matter how long I ran the water in the sink it never got cold. The sidewalk was covered in front of most of the units (on the walk to get to mine) with a slippery green slime. I slipped once when not looking down. Our room was only serviced once in three days with clean towels, etc

The room was never cleaned, not even swept. only once did they bring fresh towels, a pair of dirty mens underwear was found on the floor. There was no smoke detector. They did not tell us it was being renovated. And we were being pit in the part that was not yet renovated. The tub was slippery.

We were supposed to be able to check in at 1pm. At 5pm I was being asked to come back and my room would be ready at 5:45p. I desperately needed to get to Thibodeax to see my son play football at 6:30p, and if I was allowed to check in at 1p. It would have been no problem. It wouldnt even have been a problem at 3p but this was super late. Then, when we got to our room, we were greeted by a maintenance man who said he would have to change the door handle and lock out because it was faulty. So that meant we had to wait another half hour to put our things in the room and leave. While waiting I shut the door and when the maintenance man got back, he gave us a hard time (the guests) for shutting the door!! During the night there was a lot of activity in the parking lot and the amount of sirens and loud all night goings on led to now sleep. The guy doing checking in, in the lobby was a complete great guy though.

The room was cleaned daily. There was no lighting back where my room was, made it feel very unsafe. I had lizards all over my room, i could constantly hear them running on the bare floors.

Overall not bad but the the have like an old design and warehouse built in. You have to walk all the walk all the way around to get to the office. No breakfast if the clerk didn’t feel like. Then the keys got disabled for no reason.

Our stay was pretty good. The guy at the counter during check-in was very friendly and professional. Loved the fountain at the courtyard. Our room was very clean. Coffee maker did not work properly but that’s ok because I just went downstairs to get some in the lobby. No breakfast tough ☹️. It was only 8am and no food as promised. Overall, it was a good stay. Thank you 😊
