The tv did not work and hotel staff tried with two re.otes and spent nearky 30 minutes trying to get the tv to respond. No luck. There is no elevator to rooms above ground level. The only king bed rooms are up a full staircase. The breakfast is an apple, a slice of bread with cream cheese and apple juice, which is eaten on the lower level (down staircase) in a clean room with a few small tables and chairs. The mattress was on the too-firm side. This was less expensive than other hotels in the area. Parking was convenient and free, right next to the front door.

For a cheap one night stay, it was fine. Parking spots are narrow and very limited. If you have truck or large vehicle, it will be a challenge. Water in bathroom tub leaked all night. But, for the price it was doable.

The room looked fine but it didn’t smell nice and there was some kind of rattle coming from the AC unit or fridge. The shower head had orange mildew and the bathroom was tiny and has very old cheap fixtures that should have been replaced 20 years ago. We had to get the toilet plunged because the toilet didn’t flush well. The pillows were lumpy but the bed was comfortable. We stayed here one night because it was close to the metro. It was not cheap but should have been. It was the worst value of anywhere we stayed in the DC area.

I had doubts about cleanness of the room ‘cause there were left some cleaning supplies on the sink and somebody’s hair all over my bathtub. My blanket had old stains. I know maybe I care too much but it really affected my attitude. The staff was really nice though. The fridge was noisy, it was hard to catch sleep. The breakfast was surprisingly good - there were eggs, sausages, toasts, juice, jams, muffins, bananas and apples. Overall I’d say good for a transit cheap stay…

The check in staff has no patience to answer my questions. Toilet flush is not smoothly. Wifi is not good. Sink area is small. Overall property is ok. Room service is good. Daily clean and change towels. Close to metro, convenient transportation. Safe environment.

This hotel was fine for the most part. It's clean, everything worked. That being said the walls are paper thin. Our neighbors called the front desk to report how loud our TV was (we didn't have the tv on and were watching a youtube video on an iPad). I didn't understand how they could hear it, but the next morning I got it because we heard every word they, and their kid said while they were giving him a bath at 8 in the morning. Then, when we asked for two extra towels, the woman at the front desk acted like we were stealing from her personal stash. Like offended we would even ask. She almost refused to give us the second one. I've never had that issue at another hotel. The air conditioner/heater for the room randomly started rattling and knocking at 5am and we had to turn it off. When we started it again in the daylight it was fine. The night check in guys were friendly and courteous. Overall, not the greatest stay so it'd be hard for me to recommend the place but it was safe and clean and the facilities worked minus the blip with the heater/ac. You're at the mercy of who you get as a neighbor and who is at the front desk though.

We were drawn to this hotel because of its convenience to a Metro station for navigating the city and its economical price. The building is a bit dated but kept up quite nicely. The room was small, but adequate for our needs, and very clean. All staff members encountered were super nice and very helpful.

Eh. It was okay. Room was clean and staff were helpful. When we booked, it said breakfast included. There was none. Undrinkable coffee in one of those machines. Nothing else. Room is TINY! Can’t sit at the desk without hitting the bed. No room around bathroom sink at all. On a very busy, very loud street. Ten minute walk to metro but really big hill!

I will say the hotel is clean. Being a tall person the toilets and sinks were really low height wise. The Wi-Fi could be better. I was able to connect on cell phone but if you have tablets and streaming devices forget about connecting to the internet.

Room on the smaller side but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Refrigerator in the room but no coffee maker. Walls were thinner (could hear the people talking in the next room). Parking lot isn’t that big. Great location - only an 8min walk or so from the East Falls Church metro Station.

My friends were in town for a week. We did not have air conditioning the entire time we were there. We called everyday and they kept asking if we have the dial on cool. Uh yeah. Then they said unplug the unit and plug it back in. That didn’t work. They couldn’t give us another room because they were sold out. They also said we could open the window. We couldn’t. It was rigged to not be able to open.

The walk to the Metro is convenient. The staff is friendly. Parking is easy. The 1st night was very quiet. On the 2nd night, I had a nousy neighbor & the staff moved me to another room without question. Great service!

There was not an elevator which was really inconvenient with luggage. The was no sink space. The room was small - NOTHING like the pictures in other reviews. The staff just kind of stared at us and were not all that friendly. We came in from the city around midnight and the guy at the desk was asleep.

We were tourists in DC area and gentleman who was at front desk was EXTREMELY helpful in getting us off on right direction, going out of his way to explain and direct us to the Metro. Rest of people staffing were also very friendly and accomating.

Great location - less than 10 min walk to Metro which is super convenient. Good dining options within 2 - 15 min walk. Room was clean. Bed was nice and comfy. Breakfast bag is simple (bagel, juice, apple). Maybe they can consider adding a boiled egg. Staff was super awesome!!! They were very friendly and accommodating. Overall a great stay.

Property was clean. Staff was friendly enough. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast served downstairs each morning was ok, a little something for everyone; however, it is shut down at exactly 9:30 am so don’t be late! Hotel parking lot from the highway is easy to miss if you don’t know the area, but once you find it everything is straight forward. Hotel is conveniently located about a 10 minute walk to the Metro which made travelling into Washington much cheaper. Would definitely return.

Cons: * Bathroom was pretty tight as space goes (toilet is almost right up against the bathtub). * No breakfast included when I was there. That was disappointing because the web sites that handled this hotel said breakfast was included. Conclusion: The pros outnumber the cons, so I would stay here again.

Chose this property for 2 nights mainly for the metro access into DC as a tourist. Grateful for the big map of the metro station. Ate good breakfast, both hot and cold. Please bring your tray underneath the ice bin for ease of carrying your breakfast. First morning there were only tiny plates and no room to eat so made a handful of trips to our room. 2nd morning brought the tray, there were bigger plates and we had a table available to sit at, but it was uncomfortable (very hot).

Great location for catching the East Falls Church metro into DC. Staff were pleasant and helpful. No coffee in room but did find coffee in breakfast area. Breakfast was ok. Nice to have, not as elaborate as some, but more than a continental breakfast.

Short walk on bike trail to Metro station. Very convenient. Room was very clean. Breakfast was a bag with a bagel, apple, orange juice and cream cheese to take back to the room. Coffee station near front desk was vey good. Right on I66 and very easy to drive into DC.

Blah. Just blah. No frills at all. I'd never stay here more than a night again. This would only be a one night stay to rest on a road trip. Breakfast included is a joke. Its a bagel thats at least a day old in a brown papet bag. The rooms in the basement look like youte going into the start of a 70s horror film.

Staff was excellent. Room was a nice size and comfortable. Breakfast space was small. Breakfast food was so-so. Disappointed with the fried eggs, not sure if they were real eggs or not, possibly came frozen. Easy walk to the metro, felt like a safe area. We did not intend to spend much time in the room, would stay here again in that scenario. If we had more time that we planned to be at the hotel, I would choose one that had more space.

We used to have a full breakfast. During our recent stay, it was a wheat bagel, cream cheese, apple and apple juice in a paper bag-day after day. We were very disappointed.
