The staff was nice and helpful, the room was pretty and clean. Quiet , and comfortable beds. Simplicity and comfort that was perfect for us for a night while our house was painted. Might be helpful to guests to have signs in lower level directing them to upper level parking near lobby.

Avoid This Property! The property smells like marijuana, and it’s extremely dirty—you can clearly see the color difference in the carpet. No shampoo or conditioner is provided. The bed sheets had visible stains. Parking is located downhill, while the hotel is on a hill, so you have to carry all your luggage uphill with no elevator available. Overall, a very disappointing and uncomfortable stay.

Overall quality was a little shabby and worn. But pricing helps get over it. Front desk Staff was friendly. Housekeeping was helpful & speedy. The microwave in my room needed to be replaced due to just being old & worn out but I let it go. My refrigerator however, had to be replaced upon arrival and settling into room, because it didn't work at all. The lobby didn't have any visitor or things to do information except one flyer that had been printed out by receptionist employee. Vending machines in that area were in working order and prices for soda & water were good. Ice machine worked well. Large Safeway market within walking distance or very short drive. Limited food sources close by (like two or three). Last but not least, parking lot is small, and if walking outside to meet taxi, uber etc. the lot driveway is really really steep.

Affordable dated units for Adults NO BUGS..! NO ELEVATOR & no breakfast... Microwave & fridge in room .. Great coffee until early afternoon... Locally owned and operated small business ownership. Thin walls where I could hear the conversations/ arguments of both the neighboring rooms. I DON'T recommend it for children. No frills BUT the hot water is great. Bed is very comfortable. Wi-fi is adequate for working. Safeway a block away. Nice location. Every staff l've interacted with was delightful even if the 1s that didn't speak English

First off, the drive up to the motel is very steep so if you have trouble walking be forewarned. I did not see this fact on the website. To me, the place felt like a roadside motel. Food only from vending machine. Staff were friendly.

We were in town for a marathon and bought our hotel late so we got what we could. Based on pictures online, it looked decent. But after arriving, I was immediately turned off. Stains in bleached sheets & towels. Bed was moved a little so you could see the actual color of the carpet vs the dark color everywhere else. Two outlets in the room but the plug wasn’t even secure in the wall when you plug it in, so good luck trying to get your phone to charge all night without the plug falling out. Also, the pillows must have been bought on Temu and outdated 100s of years. They were tiny & filled with cotton broken in pieces. Not smooth and soft. Hotel is on a huge hill & unfortunately when we arrived they were mulching so greeted with the pleasant smell of manure. But the Staff was nice. We paid for two nights but immediately after the marathon, we left because I couldn’t stand to stay there another night especially after running 26.2 miles.

Gross. Lobby smelled like disgusting fish-based cuisine when I arrived. The tiny room smelled like mothballs. I had no idea you could still get a standard def cable signal. Tiny TV with an even tinier picture and no channel guide. Mildew/mold around the window and in the bathroom, hair on the bathroom floor. I won't be penny wise, pound foolish like this again.

VERY disappointing experience : stained and dirty carpet in the room, no hot water in the morning, the chair and table in very bad shape at check-in. And the walls horribly NOT soundproof att all. I was hearing loudly the TV high volume and loud dispute of my immediate disrespectful neighbors (room 215) all evening long as there would be no walls att all !! Avoid that place if you want PEACE.

What convinced me to stay here was the included continental breakfast which was a lie. The place had dirty carpet and overall not ideal. The pictures made it look a lot better. The walls are paper thin and the room didn’t even have a hair dryer. For a couple more bucks you could get a nicer place.

What I liked "only" was the reception deal, quite kind and very kind of housekeeper But on the other hand, the unit was not completely clean, the towels were stained, a pillow had red spots (I have no idea they were those spots), there were small animals between the headboard and that worried, the carpet had a lot of hair, in general quite poorly maintained and unhygienic the unit.

This hotel is pretty much what you would expect for $100 a night. It is clean and I found the hotel staff polite and helpful, however, the bed was an absolute disaster and the mattress needed to be changed years ago. It caved into a pit which didn't allow for a reasonable sleep. The walls are very thin, so be prepared and sleep with ear plugs. However, it is hard to beat the convenient location and the low price.

Smoking rooms and non smoking rooms are near each other. My room was next to a room that had 3 different sets of people in one night. Noise didn’t start until 10pm . First set of people had a dog. Walls are paper thin and could hear total cell phone conversations. I killed about 6 bugs. I never complain but I was not happy!!!

My room was non-smoking, but smelled strongly of smoke. A/C came from a window unit that started beeping at 2 AM and wouldn't stop. So I shut it off. Staff were friendly and the night was otherwise quiet.

Staff were very kind and helpful. It is also conveniently located and close to safeway and cvs. The only downside is that if you are a light sleeper and have loud neighbour, you may not get any sleep. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the other room.

The location is good. The parking place is also good. The service is very bad. The fridge was not working. When I asked, he told - “This is motel, not hotel. No service will be provided.” The TV was not working last two days.

Guy at front desk was extremely rude. Don't know if he's the owner or manages the property but his treatment towards others and myself was flat out disrespectful as if we need him instead of giving out quality customer service since he's in the hospitality industry. Not to mentioned place was dirty carpet look like it's been there since the 80s.

I made a reservation for this hotel on Expedia and they would not let me check in for 30 minutes as they had no record of my reservation…what?? Meanwhile, after waiting for the initial 10 minutes I received an email with the subject line: “How is your Check-in Going?” Unbelievable. You cannot really make this up.

We stayed here on a 4-day family trip to DC during the busiest tourist season (April). It's neat and feels fairly safe, although our non-smoking room definitely smelled of smoke from previous visitors. Most of the other travelers appeared to be DC tourists as well. If all you're looking for is a decent bed and hot water, it does the job for a great price. Just know that you'll have to drive (or Uber it) to get to DC from this location. It is not close to a metro and there's no parking at the nearest metro stop. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there really isn't any traffic driving in. Driving out is a pain if you don't time it right. Getting out of Georgetown was especially bad. Use Spot Angel to find cheap parking.

This was a great location for a family gathering in Arlington. Ubers were convenient into the Capitol and there are a number of restaurants nearby. There's a Safeway 2 blocks away.

This is a place that is away from DC but the public transportation is rather convenience. Forget about Google or Hotels.com directions from Claredon station. Walking a mile and dragging your stuff, and suitcases is not an ideal of having a good time on vacation. Take the subway to Rosslyn, and take bus 55 right outside the station. The route schedule posts on the stop pole, and from the driver. This will take you less than a block away from the hotel. A few places to eat near the hotel. ** Bus doesn't run on Sunday. It is a pretty good place if you have a car. Good location, in a safe neighborhood, and good for a morning walk, a mile, to Claredon station. Plenty of good places to eat around both Claredon and Rosslyn. There is a Trader's Joe next to Claredon station.

I loved this place for the simple fact that it was affordable. Overall mostly clean. If you come here, dont be a nit-picker who tries to critique the details. You will find chipped paint, and slightly damaged corners, but for the great deal that you get here, the tiny flaws didn't bother me. I was comfortable in my 4 days that I spent here, and loved the proximity to DC and various Arlington hotspots. If you can move past the minor stuff, you will have a comfortable stay. If you want a perfect hotel, go pay double or triple the price at a different place!

Coffee and tea were available in the lobby each morning and wifi was secure. Our room had a microwave and fridge but the microwave's turntable didn't spin. This was the first place we've stayed since COVID lockdowns that actually had daily housekeeping which was nice. The location was great since the bus stop for the bus to Rosslyn was right across the street and there was a Safeway a block away.

I will definitely come back and stay again. It is an older hotel so it doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is also in a safe neighborhood and I for sure felt safe there. I recommend it as a place to stay. I stayed there 4 days. They don’t offer breakfast, but there are plenty of places in the area to grab a bite to eat and they have a refrigerator and a microwave in the room. Thank you Inns of Virginia!
