The Inn at Longwood Medical

Decent area and convenient. Clean. The only issue was that it doesn’t have its own gym. You have to get a pass to use a gym down the road. Otherwise a good experience.

Convenient walking distance to major Boston hospitals a big plus. Elevator malfunction a big minus

We were in town for a ball game, baseball game was walkable. Public parking garage is attached to hotel you will get discounts if validated Several fees attached Not really a lobby to relax in. During day lots of food options

We stayed at the Inn at Longwood Medical for a concert at Fenway Park, 15 minute walk, excellent location. The only negative comment would be the website says the Inn has parking, however it is a public parking garage, next to the Inn, and a spot is not guaranteed. $25 per night, we were lucky and got a spot since we had a small vehicle, the garage was full. So plan head on the parking.

The room we had was not renovated yet so it was old, and had broken toilet seat. One of the 2 elevators was broken while we were there so it took Forever. They do add on a daily Facility Fee of $29.11 to your bill, even if you've prepaid for your room. I found that to be less than transparent for the room cost. They do this by taking a $50 Security Deposit upon check-in..I did check and only the $29.11 was run thru.

There is a parking garage just next door Longwood Inn - guests pay $ 25/day with in and out privileges, which is very convenient!

Good central location. Clean room. Efficient staff. The car parking entrance is close to the entrance. $25 a night. I mistakenly parked at the public car park, across the street. It was $50 a night. So I had to move my car.

Rooms are big and clean. The staff is friendly, professional, and helpful. Check in was simple, no waiting. I don't hear any loud noises from other guests. So, either the walls are insulated or the guests that are here are quiet because they have sick relatives nearby.

We have stayed here multiple times and this was by far the worst stay. It was not clean at all. Very disappointed.

Bathroom floor was not cleaned, hair on the floor and walls.

Clean,.comfortable room. Walkable,.convenient location. Front desk staff was grumpy No hello, welcome,.etc..Not helpful with suggestions, just all seemed cranky!

It served its purpose in proving if lodging while loved one in hospital. Room had an overwhelming scent, air freshener I suspect to mask other scents which resulted in somewhat of a dirty sock /boys room smell. Property is dated all around-linens were basic, mattress extremely broken in. Again extremely convenient-adjoining grill served its purpose for meals and beverage. It is without a doubt overpriced for its condition and amenities however location allows for it and that is what I payed for.

We had a very comfortable stay. I had a doctor appointment across the street at Beth Isreal Hospital. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The room was clean, but it had an awful smell. I cannot explain the smell. It was a funky bad odor. We were able to change rooms. The new room didn’t smell as bad, but still had the odor. For $400 for the night plus $25 for parking plus a $30 facility fee, def not worth it. I feel bad for those who have no choice but to pay that amount because they are there for the hospital services. We went to a game. Also, no coffee downstairs, etc. Way overpriced.

Great location. Shower needs to be undated and sheets didn't smell fresh.

No complaints, just suggestions. The faucet in the sink was too far back, needs to be further over the sink. The air conditioning unit blew the cold air directly on the bed next to the unit. Relocate or possibly find a way to redirect the air.

The room was a good size and parking was pretty simple to figure out.

Good location and hotel was fine. It’s a little older property - slow elevators, room doors stick, etc. the amenity fee is steep at $29 per night, make sure you factor that in. Our a/c unit made a terrible rattling sound. Must have been happening before as they had a second portable unit in the room, both were on when we arrived and room was comfortable but the rattling was really loud. Mentioned at the front desk and they said they would send someone up. They did, but all they accomplished was to turn off the main unit. Unit never really got back to temperature the rest of the time. Not hot, but not quite comfortable. Overall, just okay. Feels bad to get hit with that amenity fee and to have those kind of issues at the same time.

Very nice accommodations. Excellent bed, clean room, good shower. Little pricey, but it is downtown Boston, and most other properties cost much more. Would stay here again.

It was very close to the hospital which was our primary objective for my moms surgery, but otherwise wouldnt stay there again. The rooms were tiny, not in great condition, the windows were super thin so you heard everything going on outside, the beds were not very comfortable in either of the rooms that we booked between our family, which is unfortunate because its so expensive.

Very decent hotel with direct connection to a parking garage. Located near tons of shopping and restaurants. Staff was very attentive and responsive which was very appreciated. Only complaint about this hotel is whoever sleeps in the bed located next to the AC unit in the double rooms is going to have an experience as the air blow right on you.

The location was great, especially for access to the Longwood medical area, which is why I chose to stay there. However, the room had no exterior windows—only a window facing the interior stairwell and hallway of an office building, which was really disappointing.

If you are early to bed, be aware that there are soccer fields nearby which were open to at least 10 PM the night we were there. To get away from the noise, ask for an interior room.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Angel went out of his way to help us with a small problem we had.

Place was very nice. Checking in, both people working were rude and incompetent. They couldn’t figure out my reservations. 2 rooms, 1 night. Because they couldn’t figure it out. They made me go sit down because a long line was forming. So I had to wait a long time because they couldn’t figure it out? They were also rude to me. They finally figured it out. Room was very nice and clean. Checking out, same experience. They parked my truck because it didn’t fit in the garage. They gave me a card saying that’s what I need to pick my truck up. When I gave it to them to get my truck. They said that’s not what I needed. All 4 of us had to argue with them to explain that’s what we were given. They then finally said this mistake could have happened because there’s new people working the desk. Person in the garage acted the same as the employees at the desk. Checking in took forever because of their incompetence. Checking out, took forever because of their incompetence.

Let me start by saying the hotel itself was very clean. Our room was nice, and we have no complaints there. We stayed from 8/4-8/6. My first issue was the customer service (or lack thereof). Our flight into Boston was delayed and I attempted to call the hotel to let them know we'd be checking in late (around 11pm). The phone rang and rang. We arrived around 11pm and waited for at least 20 minutes for the front desk agent to appear. We were exhausted from a day of travel and just wanted to get to bed. When he finally came out to check us in, he was not at all apologetic or friendly. The day we checked out, we asked if we could leave our bags at the front desk until we left for the airport later that evening. This is a very common service offered by hotels and so we didn't think it was a big deal to ask--but the front desk agent that day seemed very put out by the request and was just as unfriendly as her co-worker. My biggest issue with the hotel is that they double charged me for our stay, causing my checking account to be overdrawn. THe charge for the entire stay posted and two separate charges for each night are still pending. I know these will eventually go away, but in the meantime I am incurring overdraft fees and have no access to my money. Expedia was absolutely NO help with the issue, which is very upsetting considering I've been a loyal customer for many years. Just be forewarned--make sure you have double the amount you need for your stay in your bank account!

Super easy and friendly check in. Room was clean. We had an issue with our neighbors being loud at 2am , and security came to deal with that immediately after the complaint.

Staff seemed aloof and non-attentive

Staff was unhelpful and unfriendly. Rooms and bathrooms are very small.

The front desk staff was amazing Alexandra went out of her way to help us out after a booking issue with our room. Expedia listed the Premium King room with an occupancy of 3 - but there is no place for a 3rd person to sleep. y son was going to have to sleep on the floor. We got a call right before the desk closed that they had a cancelation and moved us so to a larger room. Alexandra saved the day and we had a great night's sleep.

I found the Inn clean and comfortable, and very convenient. Dining options were good, although it would be nice if the restaurant didn’t close on weekends, leaving only fast food at the food court as a dining option. It was helpful to have a CVS right there in the gallery. With one exception, the staff were excellent. Housekeepers were very nice, and two of the front desk staff - Yelcie and Angie Maia - went way above and beyond to help me, offering emotional support on top of helping when I needed to extend my stay and when I forgot my key in the room. It was a difficult and stressful time for me, and these two women were so very kind and helpful. They really contrasted with another front desk person who made no effort to be personable or helpful, and this other person is the main reason I am not giving the Inn an excellent rating. I also found the fact that there is a charge for parking very disappointing. I would definitely use this Inn again if I needed to stay in the area.

Super close to Fenway!

This was our first time to visit Boston with our kids. The Inn at Longwood was in the perfect location - there's a T stop within a short walk and a food court connected to the hotel. We loved it and would definitely stay again. *The only thing I would say is that you can hear sirens at various time but that is understandable because it is right near the hospitals. Again, totally recommend!

Quiet, clean, comfortable. Walking distance to hospitals. Convenient stay if you need to be at the hospitals for a few nights.

Perfect location, central safe and a short walk to Fenway. Lot's to do and enjoy.

Great location in Longwood Medical area

Perfect location for families of patients at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Two block walk on a well lit and traveled street.

We chose this hotel because of its location. We were in town to watch a game at Fenway. It's about .7 miles to the stadium which was close enough for us to walk but far away from the craziness after a game. We also visited the Museum of Fine Arts Boston which was also in walking distance. What we didn't realize is that the hotel is surrounded by hospitals and medical institutions. There was some noise from sirens, but mostly during the day. The restaurant associated with the hotel is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The food court had fast food with most of the places closing around 7PM. Room was small. It had a refrigerator and microwave. It met our needs.

Quiet area, even though within multiple hospital and university areas. Good distance to walk to restaurants and Fenway Park! Staff very friendly. Would definitely go back!

Attached to this facility is a food court. Last evening after the food court was closed we saw as many as 6 if not more mice and rats running around the floor in the food court. Security police man was there and saw them too. Gross!

I liked the attached food court and CVS.

Soap dispenser in room was empty and bathroom needs update. Onsite bar and restaurant was closed on weekend- only open for breakfast. Service was excellent but food was average.

I loved this hotel and I found the staff to be quite helpful. The bartender and waiters in the restaurant were not only excellent at their jobs, they were exceedingly kind. My only criticism is that, as I was visiting with my very ill brother in Brigham and Women's, I had extremely limited meal choices on Saturday night. I understand that this restaurant closure may be the result of Covid, but if you could get it open on the weekends again and advertised it extensively, I think you would be happy with the results. As it is likely my brother will be there again in the future, I will choose to stay here, but I do think even just room service on the weekends would be helpful. Thank you again for the kindness. Food court is rampant with mice after hours

Good location for being able to walk to a concert at Fenway Park and nice having a restaurant and food court in the same building. Parking was cheap for Boston…$20 for 24 hours.

It was okay- very clean very comfortable but thats expected at this price. Weird setup with lobby and the elevators hard to explain. The thing they dont tell you is the hotel restaurant is CLOSED all day Saturday and Sunday, every weekend. Food court is open but what we had wasnt that good.

My husband had emergency surgery at Beth Israel Hospital.We live out of town and I found the Inn online...it was located within walking distance to the medical center and I booked it. I was more than pleasantly surprised...the room was comfortable, cool, and in a great location. There is a restaurant although be aware it is closed on weekends...the only true draw back.
