Quirky little Hotel in a quiet residential area of South End. Reception staff were excellent, room was decked out in the Pineapple theme - very good. Bar on site - good but only used it once as we were here to explore. Back Bay T Station is 5 min walk & 3 stops to centre of Boston. I would recommend this hotel to anyone & everyone.

The room had many thoughtful details that made the cozy room practical. The Staff was very helpful, even let us borrow an umbrella when in suddenly started raining at the time we had dinner reservations a few blocks away. We enjoyed using the bicycle. Late Check out time was nice to.

Overall it’s a nice boutique hotel and a good location for walking and transportation. The single biggest issue is with “resort fees” while this was refunded this time, it’s such a stain on the overall experience. If you are required to pay it, it should show in the total price initially.

The guest “amenity” charge is outrageous, especially at $24.95 per day. I used no amenities aside from the one water bottle that states it’s complimentary on the tag and the three coffee pods that were provided. I didn’t have housekeeping come into my room, so nothing was replenished, so what exactly am I being charged for at such a rate times three? What amenities? Quite frankly, $24.95 a day is exorbitant for what is "provided." And especially when all I had is the water and three coffee pods for all three days/nights. I would much rather pay for what I actually use than be charged for what I don't under the guise of friendly service/convenience. But it is what it is. Now I know not to stay at another one of thrse locations during my next travels. Very disappointing. Because I did like the hotel, but what I don't like is the pretense of"pineappley" service when it's just blatant highway robbery.

I stayed for 13 nights. Very friendly front desk staff, loved the bedding, location was great (a few blocks from Back Bay subway stop). The water bar was helpful, morning coffee always good, and loved the afternoon cookies. A dry cleaner right across the street that does wash and fold. Also great if you need a late check out (noon). The negatives- TINY rooms, no mini fridge/microwave, and shower had poor water pressure. Overall, a good stay at a good value- this was one of the more reasonably priced hotels. I would stay again!

Very small room. No closet just drawers under the bed and hooks on the wall. No on site parking. Either have to find something in the street or walk to a parking garage about 7 minutes away. Approximately $30 a day. Staff not at all helpful with directions. We got lost on the way back to the hotel. $20 a day amenity fee for which you get coffee, tea pods for Keurig, a water bottle you can fill in the lobby, (if more than 1 in the room I guess you share) and 2 “complimentary” drink coupons. Location not really near anything. Bar was great. Friendly bartender.

This place truly is delightful! The decor is charming, yellow accents and pineapple-y. The bedding is SO comfortable. I ended up not feeling well one day and didn’t mind staying in bed for half a day. The room was so cozy! The hotel doesn’t have a microwave or fridge for guests to use, either in rooms or communally, so be forewarned. The loaner bikes are a nice touch and come in handy for a quick ride along the River Charles.

This hotel was very clean, modern and convenient to walk to most things in the Boston area. Lots of great restaurants in the area and their restaurant was great too! Lovely staff and great little touches that make this hotel fun. And it was quiet. We were on the 6th floor but the street was quiet too. It is on the small side but very comfortable and clean. We just had a broken lotion dispenser but that was okay.

Our stay at the Staypineapple was great, the hotel was clean and quaint, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The property itself was easy to find and was close to the T train. The area was walkable and had alot of options for food and drinks. The room was beautiful and clean. We really enjoyed our stay

Wonderful, quaint hotel. Very nice location in residential, walkable city neighborhood. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice bar in the lobby that was not too loud. Only complaint was a single cockroach that visited our bathroom.

Never sent a complaint message before but here goes: Stayed weekend in a room that smelled like sewage. Despite alerting the staff within the first 10 mins of checking in and repeatedly asking for another room or someone to fix, it remained a problem. Instead of a nice weekend in Boston, we had a bad experience and rushed to check out on Sunday morning.

the room was very clean. bathroom is very small but shower was great and the towels were oversized, a big plus. bed was very comfy and came with 2 separate blankets which was amazing. the staff was friendly and helpful. i would definitely return

Nice, walkable area in a quiet location. Easy to get to and from all the good neighborhoods. We walked all over the city and back multiple times. The bed, pillows and duvets were so comfortable. The room itself is small but thats okay with us. The bathroom is tiny so you can’t really get ready in there but the shower had good pressure and the water stays extra hot. It also is very much a one-person shower. The hotel is fine for people who are doing ALL of their drinking, snacking and dining off site. There is very little offered in the way of snacks/breakfast/coffee other than a Keurig and a vending machine on the main level. Just be aware of that if that’s one of the amenities you need at your hotel. Stay here if you are looking for an easy location and relaxed, helpful staff but look elsewhere if you want bonus space or amenities.

Small room but they make the most of the space. Beds, pillows, linens, and towels comfortable. A/C is low noise. Hotel is on a culdesac so street noise is minimal, but did here the train once. Windows are not very sound proof, but didn't hear room neighbors. Close to many great restaurants, coffee and 7-11. Subway about a 12 minute walk. But walk is over cobblestone so beware of rolling luggage. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bar was handy, but didn't eat at the grill. Would recommend and stay here again.

We checked in and checked out within 15 minutes. The photos make the rooms appear much larger. In reality they are very small. No closets, only wall hooks. Minimal space to walk around the bed. Drawers under the bed are the only storage. The bathroom has a tiny pedestal sink with no counter space at all. The photos do not show the bathrooms accurately. We were in town for a wedding and there was no practical way to get ready in that room. The front desk agent, Reshawn, was professional and very kind. Hotels dot com contacted the property and the hotel agreed to cancel the stay and refund the first night since we did not stay. After we left they declined to honor that commitment. Because of this reversal I am compelled to write this review to warn others that the hotel did not follow through on what it promised.

This place is tiny. Think tiny--and then prepare for it to be even smaller than that. No closet. The bathroom has a shelf over the sink so that you can't brush your teeth. Doors and walls are so thin that you can hear everyone slamming their doors on your floor. The hotel bar downstairs plays loud bassy music that you can hear easily from your room. Only opaque window covers--nothing sheer so you can get light in but still have some privacy. No parking facilities.

The hotel staff members were friendly and extremely helpful. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. We didn't like the system of separate duvets for each side of the bed, and the duvets slipped onto the floor during the night if you didn't lay perfectly still. We prefer a traditional system of a separate top sheet and bedspread that tuck into the bottom of the bed. Our sink drained very slowly and the auxiliary heater on the wall whined so loudly that we didn't use it. The other amenities, such as gifts of a water bottle and 2 drinks at the bar, in-room coffee, and afternoon cookies are nice touches. We wish we'd known when we booked that it has no parking for guests, but that may be typical of a middle-of-a-big-city boutique hotel.

This was the single greatest stay of my life. The hotel is so cute and beautiful with lovely pineapple decor on the pillows, ceiling, and everywhere else (the attention to detail is superb) they offer you a complimentary drink upon check in, they provide you with a free metal recyclable water bottle, and a very comfortable and soft robe. However, The most important moment of my trip was the incredible house keeping staff! I was there to get married and couldn’t get dressed and leave until 3:30. Not only did the staff stay later to clean my room before I brought my bride back after the wedding, but they decorated the entire room with a sequined bed runner, balloons, confetti, decorations, and more. Every member of the front desk staff were so amazing and kind and helpful every step of the way! Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart on behalf of myself and my bride!! She was so excited to enter the room and have one last wedding day surprise! We will be back (exclusively!) to the Pineapple! 🍍

Cleaned our room out before we checked out. Threw our stuff away that we had laid out to come back and get after breakfast. The desk even ask if we were leaving and we said no we were coming back after we ate

Most of the staff was great, especially Cynthia! It would be great if there was food available more than between the hours of 4-11. The bar staff could also be a bit kinder to women who are staying in the hotel. Everyone was great with my dog but the communication was pretty poor. I was told that I was booked through Thursday night by one person and then had to scramble for somewhere to stay on my last night in town with less than an hour notice. The person who told me this wasn’t very kind and i got locked out of my room while my dog was in there. There was no one at the desk and it was all very stressful. Overall, it was okay but I would stay somewhere else next time.

StayPineapple has a "cute-hip" motif that is nice. Bright colors throughout; bar and grill on the first floor. Big problem: I was there on a very cold winter day, and the window was leaking cold air so badly that I had to stuff it with the extra pillows and the extra duvet. Upon letting the guest service supervisor know (not to do something about it right away, but to fix for future guests), he shrugged and said "well, it is a 100-year-old building." There are plenty of 100 year old buildings that don't have freezing air coming in. Also: a Wake-up call I requested for my final morning never came. The alarm on my phone worked, but this request was a backup. Not good. The person who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. This hotel should also be more transparent about the $25/day "amenity service" it charges. I found out about it upon check-in.

In a perfect location -- walking distance to everything we needed: Fenway Park, The Newbury, and The Prudential. The neighborhood is very quiet and so safe. The hotel room was spotless -- compact, with an extremely comfortable bed and lots of amenities. And all the staff were so friendly and helpful. There is also a restaurant/bar connected to the hotel with great food and friendly staff. We loved it all, and will definitely come back the next time we are in Boston!!

This hotel was in a wonderful location for getting around to the sites in Boston. It is definitely walkable to many things and close to a few T stops. Due to nature of the hotel being in a big city, the rooms and bathrooms are smaller but the Back Bay King worked perfectly for my husband and me. The theme and aesthetic are well executed. The robe was comfy and a nice addition while getting ready or winding down at night. The attached bar is nice to have as they do have food so on a rainy night we didn’t have to venture out. The front desk staff was nice and helpful when we had questions. They do allow you to store your bags if you arrive before check-in. I would definitely stay here again or another StayPineapple in a different city.

wonderful hotel with great staff and a fantastic bar on the first floor. All guests get a free drink when they check in! The room itself was perfect for our weekend trip to Boston. The robes were soft and a must wear item during your stay.
