The location was excellent as we could walk to both fenway park, the aquarium and there were many bars and restairants close by. The staff were very friendly and they were able to store our luggage until check in time. The only disapointment was on hotels.com we filtered for breakfast to be included but upon arriving found thay it was a $35 pp charge. Also valet parking seemed pricey at $75 per day.

Hotel near everything we wanted to see/do. Very quiet considering we were across from Tufts Medical Center. Parking across street very convenient. Buffet breakfast was good, omelettes made to order very good. Room was small but fit our needs for an overnite stay. Staff very friendly & accomodating.

We booked two rooms because with two 6-footers in our family, it's hard to share beds, so we needed 4 beds. While adjoining rooms weren't available (which is what I mistakenly assumed we would get when I booked the two rooms simultaneously), we were at least given adjacent rooms, which was appreciated. I had paid for early check-in, so we were able to get to our rooms pretty quickly. The staff was great, very friendly and efficient. The rooms themselves were fairly spacious. Given that we were doing a LOT of walking to visit several college campuses, we brought our flasks and were delighted to find a Bevi machine in the lobby! We were able to fill up with ice and water (flavored!) as we logged many miles on foot. We didn't get to try the bar or breakfast this time around. But we did learn that despite signage that indicated a Starbucks was in the lobby, there was no Starbucks in sight. But that's just a super minor thing. There's no shortage of nearby places to grab coffee!

We came up for a week stay in Boston and were very pleased with staying here. We had a newborn and the hotel staff were very accommodating, providing a crib in the room for us immediately. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was great and easy. All the staff were incredibly kind! The location is great too, easy to walk to many restaurants and cafes. Just a few minutes from Boston Common and the T station.

In Boston for 1 night. This Marriott was very nice. It was extremely clean and all staff were very attentive to the guests. Valets were amazing they ran a tight ship. My 1 and only criticism was that there is not a sit down restaurant. The food is good but it\'s a "grab and go" option ordering from the bar. So if there is a large unforeseen crowd ( as there was during my stay ) you will wait a really long time to order food. Other than that I was happy.

Great location close to Opera House / theatres - 10 min walk at most. Parking is little bit unique - it’s valet and you get a QR code to send a text each time you want your car, it can take 15 min to 45 min depending on time of day, to me this is very important information to know before booking the hotel. Place is clean and updated. We could get the gray to go below 65 and we were too warm at night. Overall a decent stay. Note the double beds, you need to be quite small to comfortably share with a partner :)

Pros = convenience, ease of valet and check in/out! Extremely nice staff! Superb breakfast (freshly made omlettes made to order!) clean rooms well stocked with amenities! Cons = bar closes at 10!!! Too early for boston life

Unfortunately, my stay was not the best experience. The room did not have a microwave or fridge. For the rate I was paying I was expecting a breakfast to be covered. I stayed for 7 days, it's not like I stayed for one or two nights, so these things become an absolute necessity. However, all those things are nothing compared to the blood stained pillows. I was devastated and totally repulsed by that and when I asked for replacements I was given three pillows and two of them were also stained not with blood, black stains I have no idea what they were. Another similar incident is one of the small hand drying towels stained with a light brown stain, absolutely disgusting, I'll let you imagine what that could be. Staff was friendly but the lack of hygiene and appliances completely ruined my stay.

Place was dirty - there were little hairs all around the bathroom sink and some in the shower as well. Seems like the place hadn’t been dusted in a long time. Also the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything and there was a party going on with loud music, shouting, doors shutting loudly. Would not stay again

Location is it's biggest selling point being walking distance to Boston Common and having a subway station across the street. Rooms - especially the bathroom - were small and the doors were heavy and shut with a heavy SLAM. On a related note, there was a noticeable gap between the top of the door and the corresponding frame (which made hallway noise worse).

The location of the hotel was excellent! Right where we wanted to be, but the room was just Good - it could use some upgrades and attention to detail. If you are charging as much as you charge for a nights stay why is there no mini fridge or microwave? You have a microwave where the ice machine is - so the entire floor has to share a microwave down the hall? Very disappointing, as well as the toilet being shoved under a counter top that forces you to be bent over while using it. Not a fan of this at all. Overall we rate it a 4 out of 5 stars because the location was perfect and it was clean, but to be honest it's really only worth a 3.

This property needs major updates. The rooms are hot and stuffy and the air circulation is awful. The rooms need to be updated with new beds. The beds are comfortable but need to be two queens instead of two doubles.

The photos do not accurately capture the dated-ness of the rooms. The bathrooms have been upgraded, but the bedrooms looked worn and tired. The area felt safe and convenient; there was a T stop nearby. Also convenient to the Common!

I didn’t like that the parking was not included. I thought the parking was extremely expensive for an overnight and I did not like that. The lights in the room did not work on bedside and also no refrigerator in the room.

I have stayed in many different hotels around the world and will say that the staff at this Marriott courtyard went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. My daughter was in the hospital at Tufts New England Medical Center and as soon as staff heard about that they did everything they could to make our stay even better.

The security guards were just talking about women like erotic novel narrators. Absolute degenerate creeps. I’m a grown man who is among the night life industry all across the country- as a career. I see my fair share of characters but these guys are absolutely predators. I would not want them working for me. I’m sure you can figure out who was working Friday night June 20th into Saturday morning the 21st. Disrespectful to guests and everybody walking by in between.

Great location but forget about getting a good night's sleep. The Royale next door (or in the same building) has "music" from midnight to 2 am Thu-Sun. By "music" I mean why on Earth do some humans expose themselves to a nonstop assault on their senses and sanity? Oh, of course humans on mind altering substances. I will never stay here again.

Have three sleepless night due to the Royale nightclub on the same building making loud music and noise till 3am. Even if you fall asleep early, you will still get waken up when they are so hyped up at 2am banging the whole street and building. Obviously the hotel knows about this, and they can do nothing. We called 911 and they said they have received multiple noise complaints but they did nothing as well. Our room is on the 8 floor already but still crazy loud. Should have read all the bad google reviews regarding noise to avoid this place. Looks like many people have similar experience in the past. If you are sensitive sleepers, avoid this hotel Friday & Saturday. Location is great and walkable to lots of things.

Clean and comfortable. Very short walk from the Orange Line station and right next to the theater we went to. Small restaurant inside the lobby was convenient. Not many menu choices, but the food was very good. Staff was very friendly.

In Boston for 1 night. This Marriott was very nice. It was extremely clean and all staff were very attentive to the guests. Valets were amazing they ran a tight ship. The hotel is in the city center. In my case the night rate was outrageously expensive but i understand that this is the staple for the area and season. The room was clean and confortable. However in this price there was no breakfast included. I took it once and i dont recommend it. There are nicer places to go around. The service was good, but the food selection could be improved with healthier choices. And of course tip was not included which as European strikes me to ask a tip even at a hotel breakfast.

Check-in service was friendly and efficient. Breakfast service (buffet) was clean, fast, fresh and very attentive and helpful. Room was good, met expectations although showing some signs of age. Everything in the room was clean and worked fine but feels like it could use a refresh soon. Overall would recommend especially for proximity to Chinatown, restaurants and theater district.
