The staff was very friendly. They lent me a phone charger and I brought it back promptly. I also loved their gym. They had machines, dumbbells', kettle bells, bands, rowing machines, ellipticals, stationary bikes, Bosu balls etc.

Parking was a problem because the lot was full, and we then had to drive around and try to find other parking accommodations. Other than that, the front desk was great and Don in the bar/restaurant was amazing!

Nice property in the back bay. Walkable to the green line in the Prudential Center which is located right within the Sheraton/ Simon Center next door. Great gym, wish the pool was open though. Otherwise a clean and comfortable stay. Staff were nice and helpful. Be aware of the "resort fee" as it is $35 per night.

After checking in, we went to our room and it had a terrible odor. We went back to the desk and ask that we could change rooms which they did for us and the new room was much better but at times still had a slight odor. Much of the gym equipment was not working despite asking the staff to attend to it. During our entire 3 night stay the one elevator in the parking garage was not working meaning we had to carry our luggage up and down the stairs in check out and check in to our cars. The staff did not notify us of the maintenance issues with the elevator or offer any assistance or apology. One of the elevators in the hotel itself was also not working during our stay, which lead to long lines and delays in getting up and down. Overall poor property maintenance was a concern and the delays in addressing maintenance issues. Staff were not unfriendly but also not particularly helpful.

Loved our stay at the Hilton Boston Back Bay. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room was spotless and comfortable bed. Breakfast was great with a variety of options. Within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and Fenway. Would definitely stay again.

Room is in need of an overhaul and deep cleaning. Holes and chips in the walls, stained lampshades, broken furniture, dirty socks under the edge of the bed- not worthy of the Hilton name. If these obvious items are neglected, it made us question the cleanliness everywhere. Uneasy to walk on carpets or sit on furniture. Reported to staff via text communication and were offered an "appetizer" for our troubles- ummm, no thanks. We paid over $300 per night to stay in a dumpy room. All the employees that we encountered- restaurant/bar staff, front desk, and baggage staff- were friendly and helpful. Were told a manger would contact us upon checkout with our concerns... have not been contacted.

The room had a view, but the room was not cozy or as nice as I thought I was getting for the high price. The room was damp (poor air conditioning?) and didn’t smell nice. I paid a lot for this room for a romantic night with my boyfriend - disappointing.

The best part of this hotel was its walking distance from Newbury Street, transportation ( The T), shopping, tourist sites, and Fenway Park! It was also clean and the staff were very helpful. However, when we checked in there was a large, questionable stain on the couch in our room. I expect more from the Hilton brand. Also, the toilet in our bathroom did not flush well. I was really shocked when we checked out and couldn’t get a cab to the airport. There were no cabs anywhere even though we were next to all the other major hotel chains and malls. The bell hop waited outside for 30 minutes hoping a cab would pass by. He said he was aware of this problem but would try to hail a cab. This has never happened to me before when traveling and I was concerned that we wouldn’t find transportation to get to the airport on time. This was stressful and irritating. Finally, after 30 minutes of waiting and calling cabs, the front desk person showed me how to get an Uber, which showed up in two minutes. I wish the staff, who was aware of the absence of cabs, had saved me the stress, and assisted me with getting the Uber when I first told them I needed a cab to get to the airport.

Stay here only for the location. Rooms are very dark and gloomy. Great it you need to sleep during the day, however, most of the time we had to used our cell phone flashlight. Walls, carpeting, furniture are black/dark gray and lighting is very dim and limited.

First of all the room was extremely dark. There was no mirror in the room, only in the bathroom. We were confirmed for an ADA compliant room with walk in shower, instead we had a tub that was very high and difficult for my spouse to enter. We were also confirmed for a river view room (see the lovely view we had in the attached photo). The bed was comfortable and the towels were fairly thick and absorbent. In short, very expensive and we were very disappointed. We will not stay at this property again.

The only complaint I had was that the room was soooo hot. Turned the thermostat down to 60 and it still continued to run. When I told the front desk, they told me that they only have a 2 pipe system-one for hot and one for cold. Hot is only one for winter. Told me to shut the thermostat off and open the window, and they could provide a fan if that didn't work. I felt that the system should have shut off according to the temperature. Not sure I would stay again because of being unable to control room temperature properly. I imagine in the summer, it is the opposite where it is too cold.

This entire stay was HORRIBLE and it was my 30th birthday trip. The only good service we got was when a lovely girl checked us in. After that it was a nighmare. This was May 28-30th, 2025. First off the bathtub was leaking and the leak was so loud we had a hard time falling asleep. I called the front desk 4 TIMES until they answered. They said they would call an “engineer” and HUNG UP. The said engineer never showed. Then the AC broke in the middle of the night. It was blowing hot air and the room got extremely stuffy and suffocating. I called the front desk until they answered and the receptionist said “there’s nothing we can do right now, the entired building AC is broken” There was absolutely no positive customer service, no resolution about if they were working on it, NOTHING. I said okay can we move hotels or what can do? And she said “there’s nothing we can do”. My friend ended up having a an episode of anxiety and we went to the ER. We came back at 4 am and had to sleep in humidity in BOSTON, for $350 a night. Horrible service, do not stay here. It is an old remodeled hotel that was patched up instead of deeply fixed

The hotel seemed good on first impression, but within a day our toilet stopped working, they did get someone up to fix it but at the next flush it was back to not working. They moved rooms for us but I soon noticed that the shower head in the new room was broken, again it was fixed within a couple of days. We were there for 11 nights and housekeeping was every day but I noticed that the dusting was not being done and on occasion the room was not vacuumed. The coffee/tea/milk for the machine in the room was not restocked regularly and we had to keep asking for milk. The one positive is that it is close to all you could need while staying in Boston.

The location of the hotel is perfect - very close to Newbury street and two T stations. We were within walking distance of Fenway Park and the Public Garden with a 7 and 9-year old in tow. We had booked our reservation with breakfast included, which was not acknowledged when we first checked in. When we did inquire about it, we were given two tickets per morning for the four of us and were told this covered our family. Two of the three days we had the same server in the restaurant, and he insisted we had to pay for our children. The other day a different server did not charge us. We also received rugs instead of replacement bath towels one of the days. When I called requesting bath towels be brought up, they never arrived, so we shared one bath towel and supplemented with some hand towels that morning as we all showered. I would still recommend this hotel, but the experience was less than I would expect for a Hilton in downtown Boston.

We tried to check in and they wouldn’t honor the ADA accessible room that was booked. We couldn’t stay and they were then worst. Didn’t even attempt to make it right. Poor customer service and horrible treatment of a disabled veteran and family. Ruined the first day of our trip.

Pleasant and attentive employees from the front desk to the restaurant, bar and cleaning staff. They were able to retrieve my phone charger (as I had left it in the room) 4 hours after check out. Kindly held our bags prior to departure. Great location and view from our room. I would definitely recommend staying here while visiting Boston.

The staff at this hotel was terrible! I had an important item overnighted to me during my stay, and the hotel workers told me that the package was not there. For four days I asked them to look for my mail, and they INSISTED that it wasn't there. After I returned home, they called to say they found my package, and that they would overnight it back to me. I still have not received my package, and I don't really expect that I will ever get it back. I also had an issue with receiving phone calls in my room. Family tried to call me, and each time the front desk workers would hang up on them instead of transfering their calls to my room. Awful awful service.

The exterior of the hotel is rather unassuming, but once you enter the lobby is very nice albeit small for such a big hotel. My room was a lot bigger than I expected. It had a nice comfortable bed, decent sized couch along the window, and big windows facing south. The automatic blackout shades were a nice touch. The only negative, which this wasn’t the hotel’s fault, was work was being done outside somewhere nearby and on Friday and Monday, they started making noise very early. Otherwise the hotel itself was quiet and comfortable. The location was great - literally a 2 min walk to the Prudential center and ~5 min walk to numerous restaurants and shopping in the area. It took me about 15 mins to walk to Fenway Park from the hotel. I felt safe walking around the area even at night. Overall, great place to stay for my first Boston visit and great location. Staff was all very friendly. I’d definitely stay again if I visited Boston again.

Everything was excellent. The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious with a wide variety of options. I especially enjoyed the made-to-order omelets. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Great location, friendly staff, easy check in and out. Parking available though it can be tight so large vehicles beware. My new favorite Boston hotel if I’ll be at Fenway, easy walk. Only negative is a lack of coffee in the lobby or rooms.
