Unbeatable location: close to everything but on an elegant and relatively calm boulevard at the same time. One of the few hotels with rooms suitable to accomodate 4, comfortably (couple 2 kids). Parking provided by the hotel is not so close, so you have to ask for the car at least 30 minutes in advance. But we could always get a space on the parkmeters on the same block, por 2 hrs parking. The lobby would benefit from some updating.

I loved this property! Charming room, Quiet. Great location close to Newberry Street shops and restaurants. Unique art deco style. Great service. Only down side is they don’t have a fitness center and that is kind of important for me. But managed to get a lot of walking in!

Service was great. Room was average. They currently don’t have a gym to use, I didn’t see that noted anywhere when I booked. Location was great, close to good eating, drinking and shopping, everything within a beautiful walk.

This was our third visit to the beautiful Eliot Hotel. We are always impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms, the quiet and comfort for a great nights sleep. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. You are treated in a way that I can only describe as "before Covid" and by that I mean they meet you at the door, park your car and deliver your luggage. We are always treated extraordinarily well.

The bed was very comfortable. However, there were no towels so we had to call and ask for everything as soon as we arrived, neither phone in the room worked so needed to call on my own phone for assistance with that, and the bathroom obviously wasn't cleaned prior to our arrival as all the used products from the last occupant were still in the shower -gross. Area outside of the hotel was sketchy so we did not feel safe to walk anywhere. If this had been an inexpensive stay I would say this was my bad, but we paid the going rate for what we usually pay at nicer hotels. Safe to say this was a one and definitely done for us here!

Older boutique hotel. Not sure why bathrooms can’t be cleaned up from rust and mold on a regular basis. Beds were too soft. Could use an update for the price of the night. Staff was great.

The Eliot is just as gorgeous on the outside as it is on inside. The beauty of its art work and the timely beauty of the building is breathtaking. The staff is superb, not the kind of “fake” kindness in customer service you see a lot but they were all truly genuine and took pride in their job. I’ve never had customer care like this before. The only downside was my suite was smaller than anticipated and there was mold in the showers grout and dust along the walls and in the air vents. I did reach out and spoke to the receptionist about this and not was done. I feel like with the amount I paid for a one night stay the least housekeeping could keep the rooms up to par. I’d certainly refer the hotel but I’d say the same things. I was also double charged for Valet parking when my vehicle was only parked one time.

Several issues with the condition of our room… sink wouldn’t drain, shower lever very broken- difficult to turn on & get warm water and broken down, VERY lumpy beds. (After calling the front desk- they promptly addressed the sink issue.) The overall cleanliness was okay… but, I noticed some tables weren’t wiped down from previous guests… fingerprints, dust. Main TV never worked our entire stay- couldn’t connect to cable/ connection issues. The staff and bellman were wonderful- very welcoming & professional. Excellent customer service. Uni is amazing. Excellent location… but, hotel needs some improvements to maintain the quality and experience they advertise. We will be staying elsewhere in the future.

This is a very special hotel, the room was a suite with a couch and chairs in the living space and a coffee bar. The bathroom was a little tight but had everything we needed. It was a terrible blustery day in Boston and the staff was accommodating with an umbrella and very friendly. The bed was one of the best I have ever slept in. Great location, highly recommend.

The price was incredible for the suite we had and the setting is wonderful for the holidays. My only complaint is that our room was near the elevator and the cleaning supply closet which was noisy. Other than that, the stay was perfect!!

We stayed in a suite. It was very large and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Location excellent. Staff went above and beyond and were SUPER helpful and friendly. No full service breakfast on-site. My only complaint is that the place was a little rough on maintenance. Our bar sink didn’t drain, there was some issues with paint chipped up, door jams seemed really messed up and carpet had a lot of staining. Overall we really liked the place.

Overall good stay at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful and a highlight of the visit. Hotel itself feels pretty old. Two annoyances were the thin walls and in-room fridge with a very bright backlight. Linens were extremely clean and comfortable.

The staff and management team were amazing! We had a red eye flight and arrived to the hotel at 8 AM. The manager in charge said check in was as at 4 PM but he would do his best to try and get us a room ASAP. Well by 10:45 AM we had keys to our room and that showed me the team here really cared. Thank you Eliot hotel for an amazing stay!

Definitely do this. The Eliot was outstanding. Booked a standard room (actually booked 3 standard rooms) and all of us were upgraded to suites. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well cared for. The staff was beyond courteous and helpful. They made our stay a delight. Travis and Jean were standouts for their humor, smiles and passion to assist but never insist. Continental Breakfast was an excellent value and well presented and expansive in its offerings. We would stay at this hotel again without question. Simply the best we’ve experienced.

From the moment we pulled up after a long drive, the staff made us feel welcome, important…even loved. They anticipated questions, they were smiling and really enjoyed doing what they do! Bonus on the cute details at the desk, in the elevator, in the rooms! Anything you need they provide. Beds and couches were comfortable, the shower was refreshing, the mini bar was ample, the elevator service and valet were quick. I cannot wait to find another reason to stay with them again.

This is a great hotel but we were unfortunate to be given a room next to the lift (412 - avoid) but were moved to another, however the smoke alarm battery died at 1am and this started beeping - this was sorted quickly and the hotel refunded $100 which was excellent. We will definitely consider staying here again

The T subway was a few minutes away and Logan Express bus to airport was super convenient. Would recommend this hotel - it’s worth the price.

Wonderful location! Beautiful accommodations in a well renovated facility. I can't recall the last time I had a real key for my room. Front desk help and doorman were particularly helpful. Right next to the Harvard Club and a short walk to the Boston Common. Uni restaurant is just off the lobby serving wonderfully prepared Sushi and related dishes.

Great location for our first trip to Boston. 10 minute walk to Fenway and the T subway system was a block away as well. The hotel itself is quiet with a very friendly staff. Check in and check out was easy, the room was ready several hours before they had said it would be which was nice as we came in on a morning flight.

My wife and I enjoyed dinner at Uni, went to a concert that was a short walk away and the continental breakfast the next morning. All were great. The room was very comfortable and very quite. We live close by in Maine and will definitely come back when we are attending another late night event.

There was food left in the refrigerator that was not ours. Spoiled cocktail in the mini bar, red wine offered was also spoiled. The wine was still billed to our room even tough I brought it to the front desk. Restaurant was not open at that was not noted on website.

The Eliot is a true throwback to a day when great service was taken for granted. We felt truly welcomed throughout our stay. Gracious decor in a great Back Bay location. The hotel restaurant only offers sushi, however, which seems a bit specialized for many guests and it is expensive.

Excelkent hotel and a great location. Staff is very nice and helpful. All friendly and cheerful. Only thing to improve is breakfast. It was not included so we paid extra and it had very limited options. No bread, no cheese etc. UNI restaurant was as well a great disappointment.
