What I didn’t care for was the 10$ charge to park on their grounds. It’s only 20$ by what I’m getting at it they never told me about this upon checking in and their website had no mention of it . 10$ per night to park at the hotel.

This hotel is under construction, including the front door. Checked in, was given a key that didn’t work. Got a new key, didn’t work again. Got a third key, opened a door to an already occupied room where the guest screamed and went crazy, understandably. Finally was given the correct room after 4 tries and rude front desk staff, room has hair in the bathroom, no hand soap, and non working heat when it’s 40F. Literally demanding a refund.

The check in was smooth, everyone I engaged with among the staff was clear and friendly, the rooms were perfectly nice though the first one had a small tear/hole in the tub. The breakfast was a little odd in that it was order only and it shut down very promptly, even a little early, though they kept offering drip coffee for purchase. The gym had one elliptical that wasn’t plugged in and two treadmills and some dumbbells—mildly grim but totally fine for the price point. We switched rooms because room cleaning skipped our room entirely but thankfully front desk staff was super helpful and offered us a new room since cleaners were no longer present. One night a fire alarm went off and no staff was visibly present to explain or assist but presumably someone addressed it and after maybe 10-15 minutes of consulting with other guests and going outside, it stopped. The site was clean and the lobby was lovely, as was the parking lot.

Overall, this is one of our favorite hotels to stay when we’re visiting the area. I love that it’s only two floors and you have the possibility to get a room with a balcony. We stayed a little bit longer at this trip and I noticed that they seem to have a lot of things out of stock when I went down to the front desk. For instance, I wanted to use the guest laundry services so I went down to the front desk and they did not have any laundry detergent so I had to make a special trip to the local grocery store and ended up having to buy two large of a quantity for the one load that I needed. Again, not a huge deal, but the hotel was not full, so not sure why they’re not getting restocked. The second was in regards to their pantry grocery area by the front entryway. I was told they sold wine and beer however, for the several nights we were there they were sold out of everything. Again, not a huge deal, but the bistro is a bit expensive if you’re looking at just having a beverage in your room again, not a huge deal. Just not sure why this hotel is not getting restocked on their supplies.

Parking is NOT FREE! There is a 5 dollar surcharge for parking on their property. Cartoon Network volume did not work in one of the rooms. Otherwise great night!

I had to change rooms 3 times. Noisy neighbors and loud music playing at 1am. Entrance and building smelled of heavy marijuana. 2 rooms didn't have working locks, including the room I ended up staying in but I was tired and didn't want to move a 4th time. Towels were stained, Pillows were wrinkly and looked used. The entire building and rooms smelled of mildew/mold. Bathtub kept filling up while showering. No lotion. First receptionist was friendly and helpful, but the one who answered at 1am seemed bothered to have to assist. Not a great experience.

After I pre checked into the hotel, came to the counter, and they said they lost my room, after a few minutes I get assigned to a room, and am told “hopefully it is clean for you.” We had a concert to go to so we were crunched for time. The room wasn’t as clean as it should be. Refrigerator was broke. This room was suppose to accommodate 5 people, and it did not. I asked for more blankets and pillows and was told I need to go to the front to get them my self. The pull out mattress might be 2 inches thick. Was also told by email, there will be a complementary breakfast until 9:30. I go down at 8:45 and was told no breakfast. I would highly discourage anyone from staying here. $330 for a “suite” room is not worth it.

I had a great stay! The staff was very professional and friendly. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the nicely landscaped central courtyard. The air conditioning worked great, and I could adjust it to my liking. Parking was convenient (and even offered for free because it was my first time staying there), and it was nice to have the simple restaurant in the lobby to grab a quick breakfast.

Room was spacious and very quiet… I got a great location in a corner/end of the hallway, with only a utility room next to me. Didn’t hear a peep during my whole stay, and housekeeping was respectful of my “Do Not Disturb” sign (just left it on the whole time). The staff was also really nice and accommodating. Room could use some upgrades and repairs, though. The TV was small and only had basic cable, no USB ports anywhere (thankfully I had converters), and the towel rack fell down when I lightly touched it. Also, the outside construction made checking in a bit confusing. But overall it was a nice enjoyable stay, decent value, and convenient to where I was visiting. Thanks!

Safe was very courteous and available. Hotel was well lit and off the highway. My only complaint would be that the outlet ms gave yet to be updated with USB. Must have a box for you charging wire.

Frequent Visitor in my hometown to take care of family. Staff is brilliant, so accommodating to my unforeseen extended stays. Quiet, set back off the main road but walking distance to restaurants, diner, icecream, sushi, etc.

I booked on Hotels.com. Front desk agent did not understand pre-authorization & trued to double authorize charges. Was not given free water on arruval as a Bonvoy member. I had to ask about check out time and if there was a breakfast. Staff needs training. Even a 2nd make employee was confused on how to check me out. I worked 15 years in a hotel, checkout should take 2 minutes. The night auditor posts charges and bills cc. All you do is turn in keys and get a printed receipt.

I’m glad you asked. If there was a rating lower than terrible we would have chosen it. We live in Western CT, a two and a half plus hour drive to Gillette Stadium. I reserved a room months ago to stay in on May 4th after an AC/ DC concert at Gillette Stadium. We arrived there at 4:00 PM to check in and there was a line of twenty to thirty people waiting outside to check in as the people waiting wouldn’t fit in the lobby. We waited for an hour plus, and the line didn’t move. No employee ever came out to explain what the problem was or apologize. One person in line told us that he had checked in two hours ago and they still didn’t have a room ready for him. We were not able to check in so we left, and ended up driving an hour plus to Sturbridge after the concert and got a hotel there after 2:00 AM. I had better not be charged for the room, if I do I will dispute the charge with my credit card company. This was completely unacceptable, and you had a long line of irate customers that were in the same situation as us. After many years of business and pleasure traveling, I have never experienced anything like this, even in much, much cheaper economy motels. You ruined a fun evening we had planned months in advance. Rooms were not ready by 3pm check in time. This was the caes for many. I have never been to hotel where I had to wait 1.5 hours to check in, with a lobby full of others wauting and a line iut the door.

Loved the hotel, my only complaint was no coffee service. At both the AM/PM there was no access to coffee. We tried at 4'ish nothing was ready until after 5pm and in the morning - we left at 9am with no access to coffee again the area was closed. The rest of our stay was great, friendly staff, clean rooms and ample parking.

The property is a bit old and tired . The rooms are kind of redone but bathrooms are old . The front entrance is under construction and the lobby is nice and redone . I like the cafe , breakfast is not free but better quality than a hotel w free breakfast . They have nice Starbucks coffee and a simple breakfast menu.pillows went down, very lumpy . I will likely try another option next time although it seems they are slowly renovating

The Expedia website said there was a restaurant and bar, so we thought we didn’t have to go out for dinner. The person at the desk said that they didn’t have their liquor license yet so they weren’t open. Very misleading. We wouldn’t have booked this had we known. Very poor communication.

Was told parking wasn't included even though it was inlcuded per booking. Lady at check in didn't believe me and said they never had that as an option through Expedia. Had to open up the app to prove it. Server did a no call, no show so they didn't have breakfast available. They didn't even have coffee set up in the lobby.

My husband and I were surprised that the hotel of this class doesn't have a usual breakfast like other hotels have. Breakfast with eggs, juice, bacon and etc. Coffee from Starbucks is not so good. And this hotel has a bar which doesn't work on holidays.

The staff were very accommodating. The property was very clean. when we stopped to have a few drinks at the end of the evening a Glass House wine in an absolutely soda drink we $20 each that price is completely outrageous. Something you were expecting New York City.

I had no issues with the service provided, lovely staff, hotel was nice, and quiet. I think the only thing I disliked was that breakfast was not included with the stay and the food available on site was a Starbucks station. Nothing against a nice strong cup of Joe however I was traveling with children so ordering breakfast from here was not the most efficient option.

Rooms were clean. No breakfast. You have to go to the Bistro to order and pay for food to be served as breakfast. That didn't look good for a hotel as reputable as Marriot especially considering the price that was paid for the room, $230 before tax per night. I could have gotten a better service for a lesser amount at another hotel. If there was a common breakfast lounge and guests are asked to pay for it, it would have a better look. Not the way this was setup. It did affect the comfort of me and my other guests. Very poor business planning by the hotel. I would never book that hotel if I have another opportunity. It has affected my whole perception of Marriot hotel. Not the brand I used to know.
