One of the most important things in a hotel is the staff. The Residence Inn in Norwood rates 5 stars for that. Every single person I encountered there was amazing. Friendly, helpful and cheerful. It made our stay so fantastic! From the moment we walked in the door at check-in when Sonya was so welcoming and friendly, to the “breakfast guy” Henry to all the others…thank you. The room, though in need of the soon to happen renovation, was pleasant enough. Clean and perfect for our needs. They have a small gym. Very serviceable…treadmill, weights..The breakfast was fine. Scrambled eggs, sausage, and a great waffle making machine. All in all a great stay. We’ll be back.

For the price of the rooms it was awful. Pool and hot tub were not working, was just handed a room key was never told what direction or floor we were on, the room was not cleaned there were what looked like blood stains on the curtains asked manger for new ones was told there were none in premises went to use the pull out sofa no mattress, ask twice for one when one finally arrived someone dragged a nasty stained up one to us , couch had puke on the arm of it, manager pushed us off so we put a call and complaint into corporate.

We enjoyed our stay in the 2-bedroom suite. The location is the main reason we chose this property. The single elevator for the whole building was inconvenient as it was a long distance from our room on the fourth floor.

The room was clean and the staff was excellent. This staff was so caring and kind, they let us check in early, which was a Godsend and they were just so warm. I really had a great feeling staying at this hotel which is now being renovated.

Everything was disgustingly dirty in our room. We called three days before our arrival to ask for an extra clean due to allergies. I thing was cleaned at all! Beer cap on floor, dirty, carpet, bathtub rusted out and filthy, tile floors nasty, food all over kitchen appliances and a used water bottle on the counter! WORST place ever!

There was no blow dryer in the the room. The coffee maker didn’t work. Breakfast buffet great. The hallways and elevator were filthy. This was a subpar experience and not what I’m accustomed to from Marriott. Very disappointing.

I stayed at the hotel but when I arrived it was very dirty. The bathroom Shower had not been cleaned properly, nor the dishes. The sheets has stains still. It was just uncomfortable and I had to find a different hotel to stay at. I called and was told I have to go through hotels for them to confirm my refund

Although, we were pleased with the hotel's location, as well as the complementary breakfast, we noticed that the rugs were dirty and the rug inside the elevator needs to be replaced. Also, most of the times, during the day but most concerning at night, the hotel recepcionist was away from the front desk. Only once when we got late at the hotel, we had to use the hotel key card to get inside the hotel.

The property was clean xesk people were very nice. Checkin and ckeckout were easy and quick. Breakfast was very good the setup people were very nice and helpful the area was very clean. However the room had broken things in shower no lotion and other thing you expect to be in rooms and after first night no came to clean talked to clerk next day and they cleaned after the second day

There were multiple issues even post tipping their housekeeping staff didn’t responded in hospitable manner, their behavior was rude to somewhat aggressive towards residents. Front office lady initially said internet is for free, when my laptop wasn’t able to connect she upgraded the internet and assured there won’t be any charge for it, but later I saw they charged 5.99 for daily internet use. Mind it the quality of internet was still poor even with paying 5.99 daily.

The overall experience was good, with the facilities serving our needs well - with the exception that the property was dated and room interiors need to be refreshed. “I really enjoyed my stay, but I had an unsettling experience with the maintenance staff. While we were in our room, a random maintenance worker knocked and asked if our room had a bathtub. Before we could respond properly, he just walked in, glanced around, especially at the outside of our fridge, and then left without any tools or explanation. It felt like he expected the room to be empty. Very strange and uncomfortable.” Like you would know if we had “tubs” very weird.

A Mouse was in the room! In a Marriott hotel?? Hotel staff just shrugg her shoulders as if it was already a given. :(. I wanted to leave the hotel but the staff provided another room on the 4th floor. Overall bad / scary experience and will not stay there again.

Breakfast on point and healthy choices like vanilla chiobani yogurt to go rework my spinach souflee and waffles! Staff is top notch going above and beyond. I noticed and do appreciate people who take pride in their work.. Also i left Maui jim sunglasses at the front desk and they contacted me to ask if i had lost them prior to me knowing! Terrific!

The location was relatively easy to find. I arrived arounf 6:30 pm, while there were restaurants in the area, you have to go past the hotel to find. It is a divided road so you have to find a traffic light and an area to turn around and then comr back a fair distance in the opposite direction and turn around again, if you head out for food. The front desk did offer delivery options. At 11:30 pm, the fire alarm went off due to someone cooking. We stood outside in 18 degree temperatures in our pjs. At 4:30 am the trash truck came and was banging around the dumpsters outside my window. The final mishap was when the wind blew the window next to the bed in and it came crashing down.
