My beef is with cancelation. I had to unexpectedly travel out of the country for a death on the family. So I called to let the hotel I was not coming and asked for a refund, after some discussion the hotel agreed not to charge. A couple days later I got an invoice copy from you guys, telling how much you charged. I called the hotel, said I had to call you, you said you could not do anything and the agent called the hotel where someone told your agent they had not made such a promise, which is untrue and the agent should have pressed harder to speak with a manger that may have made the decision. Anyhow, I’m going to have my bank NFCU dispute the charge so hopefully you won’t get any money. I’ll never use you again

The pet deposit of $150 is exorbitant. I paid more for the deposit than I did for the room. The fact that they even call it a deposit, when it is not refundable, is ridiculous. I have a quiet, well trained bernedoodle that doesn't shed. You would never even know she was there and we were there for one night. I understand having a pet deposit, animals can RUIN rooms, I get it. The policy should be that it is refundable if there is no damage. And don't have an extra cleaning fee AND a non-refundable pet deposit. Have ONE OR THE OTHER. It is off-putting to say you "welcome" pets, when it is so obviously just a cash grab. We won't be staying there again.

The Robert Johnson house is certainly historic and conveniently located in downtown Annapolis. I should have expected bugs since indeed the building is hundreds of years old. But the main entry door expands in the heat and at the end of the day is extremely difficult to open. No amenities, valet parking is available ($$). Coffee was terrible. Your paying for a great location, not anything else
