I really don't write many reviews, but this experience was so poor, I truly feel others need to know. Do not stay at this hotel. From jump, something was off; perhaps it was the bag of trash left in between the connecting doors of our room, perhaps it was the large hole in the wall of the gym, perhaps it was the small desk clock with the wrong time that couldn't be adjusted. One morning, I went looking for ketchup in the bar area where breakfast is served. There was only mustard. I peeked behind the bar to see if perhaps there was a bottle that had fallen, considering as how there was mustard. I was SCREAMED at by an employee who must've thought I was some sort of thief. Meanwhile, her daughter was coughing so heavily at a table nearby I thought she might need a doctor. We were in front of the pool, which was fine enough, but the screaming children all day wasn't great. Rather than be chastised again, I didn't bother asking to be moved and just put up with it. I did, however, have to say something to someone about the state of the exercise facility, because in addition to the hole in the wall, several weights were missing, it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and multiple ceiling tiles were collapsing. The whole experience was thoroughly unpleasant, and I would've put up with all of it had it not been so expensive. I was told by a friendly checkout concierge I'd receive a 25% discount for my troubles. I got back $22 after 3 nights. I don't have to tell you, that's not 25%.

Wife and I made a last min stop and needed a room for the night. The location, price and cleanliness made this a great choice. Room was nice, clean and accommodating.

Stayed 1 night

We had called for a late check in, but after arriving at approx. 11:30 it took us 10 minutes or so to track down any staff to help us check in. The room, however, was terrible. It smelled of smoke and mildew from the moment you walked in the door. I was convinced we had somehow accidentally booked a smoking room, but it's actually just a non-smoking room with horrendous odor. Being late with two tired kids and only staying briefly we went to bed, but our whole family awoke with stuffed sinus/congestion, which is an issue we rarely suffer from, so it was odd that we all developed that condition from a short (6 hour) stay in the room. I asked the front desk staff on check out if I had accidentally booked a smoking room somehow and they stated "it just must not have been cleaned well enough". Gross, will not return.
