Hotel was minimally busy but staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel looked a bit older but neat and clean. Upon arrival to our room, it was really cold so it took an hour or two to warm it up to room temp. We found the screen falling out of the window and the window screwed shut with an 'L' bracket. Lots of cold air leaking in. The heater overcame this. We went to the pool with our young daughter - main reason for choosing this hotel - but it was freezing - not even room temperature. No swimming. Room and facilities were very neat and tidy. We did not have breakfast here as there was a Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel very close and we ate late for a Monday morning. I would probably choose differently next time although no harm done this time - live an learn.

Staff did not seem to care about customer service other than the young man first checking us in. He was very pleasant and hospitable. At breakfast the staff members were sitting at the desk visiting, had to as for eggs, cups, coffee, sausage, their attitude was un acceptable, will probably never stay at a Quality Inn again, lights in parking lot were mostly out, entry ways very dirty

The POOL was COLD!! NO SPA!! NO HOT COCOA at Breakfast, Our frigerator had someones' food and drink in it! The small bottles of lotion/shampoo/conditioner in room was NOT new (they were all half gone) It was not a good place to stay!!! We won't be back!!!! The staff was friendly!!!!

The lighting of the parking lot was dismal. I wasn't sure it was the right place, or if it was empty, altho there were about 6 cars in the lot. The hallway carpet was dirty, with trash in the hallways when I arrived after 9 pm. The hallways & my room smelled musty. Will not stay there again.

Needs a lot of work, And the rooms were clean, but the rest of the hotel still needed a lot of work. And rooms do not have fridges are microwaves. The continental breakfast is by far the worst of any hotel. And for the whole weekend we stayed the pool was out of order due to lack of preventative maintenance. It is really not that hard to keep up on pool chemicals.

Positive things: clean beds, amazing hot water pressure, front staff were fantastic and friendly. Negative things: mangled nearly empty toilet paper roll, garbage and old food in room fridge, bathroom door lock broken, no towels for pool users with used towels all over the deck and no place to put them. Food garbage on pool deck for days. Poor lighting in parking lot after dark. This hotel has the potential to go up a star or two if the management would just pay attention to a few more details in clean up and building maintenence. Didnt hate it but not excited to return.

They stay was pleasant and frint desk staff were nice but the room.was not the cleanest. The bathroom towels has stains on them which you can tell they tried to bleach but it still showed through. The room ceiling was covered in co. Webbs so big and long they damced with the heat. Sheets seemed clean and were spfr and comfortable. The carpet was filthy and felt stick on feet. We kept our shoes on when walking in hotel room. You could see the dirt and crumbs, as though they forgot to vacuum. In morning when on our way to breakfast the housekeeps were waiting oursode the room and asked if we are leaving today which i didnt mind, nut upon return to my room they vlocked the door woth cleaning cart that i had to move away. They kept govering around room almost rishing us out which was uncomfortable as we stl ahs 1.5 hrs to go before check out. Thr pool.was also put of service. Some positive were breakfast it was tasty although i obly had the waffles. Don't think I will stay here again but does the trick if you only want to sleep there.

This hotel is creepy and outdated. The only thing that was not dirty was the bedding (thank god!) The room has dead bugs and cobwebs and smelt like it hadn’t been used or open in a while. Even the bathroom fixtures were rusty and the faucets dripped. The toilet was barely mounted and would slam against the wall anytime someone used it. Our first room had a connecting room with a door lock that was broken so we asked to switch. The new room we got the deadbolt lock was just completely broken. I felt extremely unsafe staying here. None of the side doors were locked or needed keys to enter so basically anyone off the street could come into the hotel and not use the front door. There is only one nighttime staff so there’s not much security anyways. Definitely study up on some methods to keep your room from being broken into if you’re going to stay here.

We got in late after crossing the boarder. The gentleman at the front desk was really friendly. We booked two rooms one being a dog friendly room. That room smelled really bad the floor was wet and the sheets covered in stains. The other room had a leaking ceiling. The bathroom floor was covered in water and if you sat on the toilet the water dripped down on your head from the exhaust fan. The breakfast was cold and not maintained at all the girls working there were not attentive to the food at all and many things were missing or like rubber. The tables were dirty and the garbage can in the dinning area looked like it came from a construction site. It was filthy. When I mentioned all of this to the front desk in the morning she had nothing to say. Would not recommend this hotel ever.

Entrance to doorways were very dirty. The air conditioner heater had way too much dirt in. It wouldn’t want to get legionnaires disease.!! sheets were clean towels were white. That was good. The breakfast nook was dirty. The microwave was horrendous. We did not eat there.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very run down, and not clean. The rooms were filthy- the shower was slimy underfoot; the carpet, walls, curtains, and bedding were all stained. Shower head did not work, door to the adjoining room did not lock, and the remote controls did not work for the tv. There was exposed wiring on the air conditioning unit. Every surface in the room from door knobs, locks, light switches, and tables were greasy to the touch. Peeling/flaking paint was all over the hallway floors and even in the pool! At least the beds were comfortable, and front desk staff were helpful.

Spent about $175 for a night. Property overall is very dirty. The carpets in the hallways was just gross and the place smelled like stale smoke. The room had the same stale smoke smell and just felt dirty all the way around. When I say dirty carpet I mean it looks like it hasn’t been vacuumed to cleaned for 10 years.

Our stay was just for a quick visit. Over all our room was good, outdated, you could tell that it was not vacuumed or poorly done. Bathroom wasn’t swept, and wore out old /hole clean sheets.

My room had no microwave or fridge as described when i booked. We had to ask for fresh towels for our rooms and towels for the pool. Decent breakfast, and overall we had a good 2 night stay.

The stay was okay. Breakfast wasn’t the best. The bed and pillows were comfy. But you can tell the hotel isn’t in the best condition. The trim had tape holding it together. The shower needed caulk redone. Behind the toilet there was the wall paper coming off the wall. The hotel needs an update. I am a daughter of a contractor. So I see all the needs for improvement. Also the floor wasn’t vacuumed. The tub wasn’t clean neither was the shower. Still had stuff on the bottom of both. Lots of room for improvements here. I would stay again. But might be best if you look at bettering the hotel and fixing these issues to get more people to stay.

Efficient front desk with check in and out. Room was clean enough. On the smaller side. Bathroom was fine, water pressure solid. Has a pool a breakfast if you're into that kind of that. Definitely a fine choice for a night stay while traveling.

Our first room didn’t have working AC but the staff did get us a new room right away for free and we were then fine. The hallway did smell of smoke in areas but overall, it was ok for the price. Plus the breakfast was real good for being Free.

I would share pictures of I could. The door to my room looked like someone tried to break it down, door wouldn't close all the way on its own, had push/pull it closed. Striker plate was loose. Bathtub was dirty, didn't even come clean during shower.

Very run down property. No bugs but carpets were filthy in common areas. Our room had water damage on the ceiling. Window facing the interstate so was quite loud. The complimentary breakfast was unsatisfactory to say the least, dried out sausage and weird scrambled eggs, a few cereal, one waffle maker, dried out muffins, bagels and some yogurt. Had stayed here years ago and it has gone downhill.

Let’s see, only one person on staff when we checked in. Another woman was at the desk asking for soap for the public washroom. The young lady told her she couldn’t leave the desk, she was the only one there, the soap was in a room and it was locked and she didn’t have a key, her boss had it. Then we went to our room. The cover blanket on the beds looked like they had someone dirty foot marks on them. Then the bathroom, there was a roll of toilet paper sitting on the lid flushed the toilet plugged water everywhere. Phoned front desk to bring towels and plunger. Couldn’t leave desk had to go get it ourselves. She said no one has done laundry running out of towels. Opened the fridge someone had unplugged the tray and bottom of the fridge full of water. TV doesn’t work. Asked for a different room got the last room. It was a down grade no fridge or microwave, and the clocks don’t work. They need to find more staff and friendlier. We called the other hotels in the area and they were all full. We would have checked out if another one was available. This is the second bad experience I’ve had with Quality Inn. I feel you owe me a refund or quite a discount.

There were basketball teams roomed next us, even though almost half the hotel was empty. They partied all night until 3am with the staff not doing anything. The front desk clerk was not around on Saturday morning to restock the breakfast. I had to wait for her to finish her smoke break to check out.

Will not be staying here again. The hotel looks run down when you approach the building. The manager that checked us in was nice but not very professional at all. Everything was dirty and just not maintained well. Shower missing some grout and caulk so shower leaked. Halls smelled like weed. Had to have keys reset multiple times. Rest of staff was nice and helpful but just overall a gross hotel.

Night clerk wanted to charge me more money for the room. I'm disabled and when I didn't want to pay he sent us to a room way down to the end of the hotel to a room with no heat. The property and room were fine. The first room I was given wasn't cleaned... beds were stripped and bathroom dirty. Which was fine, just a clerical error. No big deal. The staff however were so grumpy. Both the staff in the evening and in the morning were unfriendly. Not rude, just distracted and not very friendly. The hotel is good, clean and was a perfect location for my needs. But don't expect a friendly staff.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I cannot stress this enough. If I could leave a zero star review, I would, and they wouldn't even deserve THAT much. My wife and I stayed here for a weekend. When we got to the hotel, our room wasn't cleaned, the room was left unlocked, there were no sheets on the beds, the bathroom was filthy, random bottles of cleaning products were strewn around the room, and there was a suspicious brown stain on one of the mattress pads. It was as if the cleaning staff just gave up half way and went home. In fact, this would absolutely seem to be the case, as we specifically asked if the cleaning staff could finish cleaning the room, and were told "no, sorry, there's no cleaning staff, they've gone home". We asked to see the manager, to get a refund, and apparently THEY had gone home as well. We were told that we could either accept an upgrade to a double queen bed room on the second floor, or a single queen with a pull-out bed. We took the double queen, but problems didn't stop there. We consistently had issues with our room keys, and the electrical outlets in our room were sketchy to say the least. One outlet even managed to destroy my wife's cell phone charger and my laptop charger. Stay away from this place. You're almost better off sleeping in your car, it would certainly be cleaner at least.

We happens to go when there was a Golf tournament ⛳️ and people from other states and Canada filled up the whole hotel. She assured me that they do not allow anyone to smoke in room but they do go outside and smoke in their cars which they bring the smell in with them. The female associate at front desk was very helpful! Gave us recommendations of how to get places, about sight seeing attractions. The next day there was a male at front desk not helpful at all. He could handle checking out the golfers 🏌️♂️ let alone other visitors staying at hotel. But the location is perfect, lots of restaurants and stores.

There is no hot tub as stated on Expedia, but the pool was very clean and enjoyable. We had a king bed and jetted, 2-person tub. Highly recommend this room! Best price for the area. Great shopping, restaurants, and short drive to Frankenmuth.

I wasn't given the room I reserved, I was called at 1am from the front desk and was told that I was going to be moved to the right room. When I approached the manager in the morning and told him, he said that I was given the right room, even though it didn't match the booking itinerary, and he just shook his head about the phone call. Someone somewhere messed up and they were all trying to cover each other... Don't recommend... Drugs in the parking lot, dealer in the hallway...

Room was decent but building and parking lot was run down a fair bit. They had what seemed to be long term people staying there and made coming and going a bit uncomfortable considering they hung around the area by the entry doors closest to our room. I don’t think I will stay there again, pay a little more money to feel comfortable coming and going especially in the evening.

We got in late after crossing the boarder. The gentleman at the front desk was really friendly. We booked two rooms one being a dog friendly room. That room smelled really bad the floor was wet and the sheets covered in stains. The other room had a leaking ceiling. The bathroom floor was covered in water and if you sat on the toilet the water dripped down on your head from the exhaust fan. The breakfast was cold and not maintained at all the girls working there were not attentive to the food at all and many things were missing or like rubber. The tables were dirty and the garbage can in the dinning area looked like it came from a construction site. It was filthy. When I mentioned all of this to the front desk in the morning she had nothing to say. Would not recommend this hotel ever.

Entrance to doorways were very dirty. The air conditioner heater had way too much dirt in. It wouldn’t want to get legionnaires disease.!! sheets were clean towels were white. That was good. The breakfast nook was dirty. The microwave was horrendous. We did not eat there.

Sorry not a very clean stay, breakfast area bot kept clean, cold sausage and cold eggs. We had a 2 night stay, left for a few hours shopping and room not touched by any staff service. Not impressed at all we will not be back and certainly will not recommend

We were greeted by Travis at the front desk when we arrived. Can say, that he was super friendly and very helpful. He was willing to support us in any ways possible. The room was very clean and comfortable, other than the desk chair, which was way too low for the desk to work on a computer. The hot breakfast was cold since somebody forgot to turn on the the steamer under the eggs and sausage. This was our third time staying here, and when we are ever in Port Huron again, this will be the place to stay.

Beds and bedding were clean. Bathrooms were okay but could use an actual good scrub. Water pressure was good but the water never actually warmed up it was eother cold or barely room temp. I didnt use the pool or gym so I have no opinion about that. Staff was excellent!
