The hotel is not a large building, but several smaller ones, with motel style rooms (they have a door outside). The property is a bit hilly and it is right next to the shore (albeit mostly rocks). There are some great views of Mackinaw Island! The room was clean but the shower/toilet part of the bathroom was small. The pool room is in the main office building and we decided to not use it (early May was cold). Breakfast was fine: typical hotel breakfast. Note to Best Western: individual milk cartons are a better option than the milk in the dispenser -- it was mostly empty. Staff was friendly. The room was just under $100, which is the best selling point. I thought it was fine but the family vetoed my opinion. In all, we will probably try another hotel next time.

The hotel was nice and seemed clean. One little mishap but the front office lady was happy to help. I was NOT happy when room service knocked on our door just after 9am. They wanted to get in to clean. We stayed ONE night and were trying to rest up. But they woke us up. When check out is 11am and we are only there one night, there is no need to get in early to clean.
