Still not serving breakfast. No heat on in the building so it took about an hour to get the room itself up to a comfortable temperature (real great when you have kids with you). It was 50 degrees in the pool room, which meant the pool itself was freezing. The hot tub worked but paint was chipping off under the water. Not much upkeep or investment into the property itself.

This is a quiet, well kept property. Everything was in great working order, very clean. The bed was excellent. Very nice pool area. The staff was very professional and polite. I would absolutely stay here again.

My first time staying in Saint Ignace we chose the voyager. My expectations weren’t high because it’s an old building however it could have been much better than it was. We were given a room on second floor which meant we had to use the elevator to get our luggage up there. The elevator was very small and looked like a closet. My boyfriend said no way is he getting in there so I rode up with the luggage. It was scary. We got to the room 213 and our keys wouldn’t work. I took the keys back to the front desk and she made some adjustments and gave them back. I went back up and they still didn’t work. Went back down and asked for another room. She put us in 113 which was downstairs. Now we have to take everything back downstairs. We get to room 113 and keys worked. After being there for about 20 min we decided to take off. When we got back around 8:00pm we were there for about 30min and noticed a leak in the ceiling. There was dripping in 2 spots above the jacuzzi tub. We went back to the front desk and she gave us another room. We had to go back upstairs. This ended up being our last move thank god. She mentioned they would compensate us however not sure if that happened because there was no one to speak to when we left. This place needs some love. We won’t be back.

Check in was quick and easy pool and hot tub was AMAZING!!! Room was decent for the price However when AC was turned on it had a terrible smell (probably just the filters need cleaned) so we had to crack the window

We reserved 2 rooms both had blood drops in the bathroom, room 221 toilet seat had a lot of long hair on the seat. The corridor was smelly. We just stayed in the hotel from 12am to 5am wheb we tried to checkout the reception were closed and the number to call didn’t pickup our calls We will never stay there again

We found a bed bug on the bed pillow the morning of our stay. We brought it to hotel staff and they offered no apology. The staff said they would schedule to get the room treated. Not the response we had expected. Ruined our stay.

Room was very musty smelling. Everything in room was damp including bed linen. Mold present on base boards. Cancelled our 2nd night. No one available at front desk after we checked in and no one at front desk the next morning. Our room door had no security latch. Bathroom fixtures were old and rusty.

The pool, hot tub and pool area was nice. Room was below average with old and beat up furnishings and less than clean. Asked employee at check in about transportation to the island (which was advertised onthe window and all I could get as a reaponse was a point in a direction and an answer of "down there". Same thing when I asked about Castle Rock.though he had no idea of what I was talking about. Ok for the price if you are just lookikg for a place to lay your head overnight

The property is very dated. Hot tub seemed more like a warm tub. The entry door to the room seemed very insecure with a lot of light coming through the cracks. The TV was very small (27”) for the year 2025. The room was a quick stop over for us. I would not want an extended stay at the hotel.

The hotel was clean and much nicer than expected! My only complaints were that the coffee maker in the room was broken, and the door didnt seal all around. We were able to see light coming in the room from the door all the way around it, and every noise in the hallway could be heard entirely. I was woken out of a dead sleep by people talking loudly in the hallway. This was especially problematic, because our room's door was next the pool entrance.

Dont go here, the service is terrible. I paid for this place and it says I can check in at any time and it has 24/7 front desk. I get there and the front door was locked and had a note on it saying away from the desk, call their phone number for assistance. I called the number and no one answered, waited an hour and called about 10 times and no one answered so I had to sleep in my car over night. Went back in the morning to talk to someone and no one was at the front desk and the note from the door was now on the desk. I called the number again and still no answer. Dont waste your money here.

The desk attendant (not sure how to spell his name) was an excellent host! He was personable, attentive, and took the time to remember individual names! The attendant was very knowledgeable of area attractions and recommended very fun things to do! If youre looking for a place to stay, this is it!!

Nothing wrong with the room but had to wait 10 minutes at the front desk for some one to show up to check me in. Never apologized for the wait never even said hello and treated me like I was cutting into his valuable time.

I was looking for a decent cheap hotel and that’s what I got. It was quiet, what I expected for the price. My only suggestion would be that the hotel needs to communicate what lobby hours are. We got there later than expected, around 9pm. But the hotel called just before we arrived because the lobby was only going to be open until 10pm and there’d be no check ins after that time. There was no communication from the hotel or Expedia prior to that that check in could only happen within certain hours. Considering we were in the car for 12 hours that’s very important information to know when planning departure times. The lobby also wasn’t going to be opened again until after 3pm the next day so there’d be no support if we lost our key or something else came up. There’s no breakfast, though it says there is. They provided a small discount coupon to a nearby hotel’s restaurant.

I did not SEE a single staff member my entire stay. I had to call a number to do a self-check-in, even though I arrived around 8:30 p.m. or so; I would understand if it was the middle of the night. The heater did not work, but I didn’t want to call the number to wait for someone to arrive so just went to bed. At 7:15 a.m. I was going to grab a coffee and pastry on my way out the door but the lobby area was locked and unstaffed even though light breakfast was advertised as starting at 7 a.m. Location was good, and shower was hot and clean.

Our family came to visit Mackinac Island and really enjoyed our stay here! It was very safe and had great accommodations. There was also a discount and free shuttle to the island ferry, which was perfect.

Great value and location! Within walking distance of quaint downtown with lots of wonderful shops and restaurants. Perfect launching spot for a full day to Mackinac Island. Nice perk to have ferry tickets at the hotel at $2 off the internet price. Grab N Go breakfast was nice. We had an issue with our showerhead leaking and the maintenance man promptly replaced it the next morning. Nightstand lights between beds flickered, but did not come on. Pool towels were thin and not much larger than a hand towel. Sign says the hotel is under new management. I hope they make some upgrades. This hotel has alot of potential!

For the economical price a great property. Excellent location to interstate, gas stations, fast food. Room was clean & comfortable with full cable TV selections. Free breakfast was what should be expected and plenty to fill you up to start your day. I didn’t use the pool or hot tub amenities. I would return again.
