Doubletree by Hilton Hattiesburg, MS

The room was nice and the staff was nice. The pool was dirty so I couldn't swim.

Both pools were closed but otherwise I was very happy with my stay.

Property is under some renovations in the lobby and the outdoor pool is filled in, the website said it was open. But my kids enjoyed the indoor pool! The hotel restaurant is very convenient and the staff was very nice and helpful! The room was somewhat dirty.

Outdoor pool filled with dirt, indoor pool light broken and hanging with wire. Restaurant had 1 waitress for about 8 tables. Room was exact as pictured in description.

There was no bar, one elevator, and the ice machine on our floor, didn't work

Friendly staff but food was terrible. We ate at the in-hotel restaurant and their hotel breakfast, neither were free, and both were very bad. The air conditioner in the room couldn’t keep up and the pool was very dirty, green and had chemicals floating on top of the water. Elevators were getting stuck with people trapped in. The beds were comfortable though.

Only 1 elevator was working, door lock battery on first room was dead so they moved us to a second room. Second room was okay. Went for a swim in the pool… don’t. The chlorine was so high that you could see it pooling on top of the water and my eyes were burning the entire time I was in the pool room. I didn’t get in but my kids did. We bathed them as soon as they got out. No one told us there was a fridge in our new room. Only one wash cloth in the new room, for me, my wife and two kids. No towels in the pool area. Won’t book at this hotel again. Lots of loud “residents” also, but I know that’s not the hotels fault.

Ive stayed here regularly and usually like it, but this time, both elevators were NOT working the whole time. and I was staying on the 4th floor. That is unacceptable!

Obvious signs that this hotel is old. Dingy and overused beds and begging stitched up with black threads... smelled old and floors in bathroom corners dirty. Toilet plumbing noadequateflushing

Room was not clean, trash was on the floor, the shower was stained and dingy. There was a crack in the wall close to the closet. The room appearance was not up to part.

This experience was one of the worst stays I’ve had at a Hilton and I’ve stayed at a lot of locations. My room was out of shower get upon arrival. I asked front desk 3 separate occasions for it to be filled and it never was. My room was never cleaned any of the 4 days we were here. No fresh towels were ever provided. I had to go to store and purchase shower gel. The breakfast buffet was broke on the 1st morning limiting the options that we paid to eat. I am very un satisfied with this experience!

Let me start by saying the staff was very polite, cordial & greeted by every one of them that I encountered. The surfaces of the rooms had a grease-like film everywhere almost as if the room was cleaned with oil or a very dirty rag. There was rust and mold all around the shower. I am so glad we were only in town for the night.

Good stay and good price. Room set up was good. Room could have been cleaned better wasnt nasty but coukd tell it was a quick clean not the most thorough. Bathoom had some wear and tear coukd be upgraded

Reception on arrival was great! Bartender Alex (aka "little Alex") did a great job creating a coconut martini per our request, she went above and beyond! Hotel location was perfect for our stay and was comfortable. Unfortunately, upon arrival our room didn't have a completely made bed, only one sheet and cover (typically there are two sheets with the cover between) We asked to have that fixed, but there was no housekeeping ever sent to the room. We stayed three nights and had no housekeeping at all ie no towels, bed changed or trash removed our entire stay (even with the tag removed from the door and the request made prior). The people were great, Sherri was helpful after we almost missed the morning breakfast. Gave us wonderful info and suggestions which we took gladly! Thank you Sherri. The staff were all kind and courteous, room was quiet.

The hotel initially looked very nice. Once we got to the room, it is definitely run down a bit especially for the price point. The bathroom was not clean and the shower looks very run down.

There was a roach in my bed and the shower took 3-4 minutes to get hot water.

The suite was very spacious and clean… beds were very comfortable and staff was helpful!

The hotel has a nice room size. Very clean and quiet.

Room bed linen was old and dingy and had been stitched up with black thread. Mattress was old and lumpy. Staff was great. Toilet flush

I had a room on the first floor. The AC was a little nosey and the people above moved around alot at night.above

The room was clean and nice. I hate one side of the shower was glued so if wanted to step in after turning the water on my hair would be wet if I'm not washing my hair. Staff wasn't too friendly upon entering like they didn't greet you. The maintenance did come fix the AC in the room and they were pretty nice about it. Overall it was an ok experience.

Loved my experience at Double Tree! Would’ve given it a five star, but I deducted one point due to the lack of hot water, the next morning, when I got up to shower.

The experience was good. At first the host at the front desk was a little rude and showed no concern to help us at first. Every answer was quick and uncaring. The front desk host after her were very sweet

Front desk clerk was very unprofessional, didn’t even greet us on entering. And was on a FaceTime call throughout the check-in process.

I booked my stay in April. I got there and they didn’t have the type of room I had requested! I got a king bed for 3 people! The lady at the desk told me the manager tried to call me! That was a lie! She acted like she was getting me a room to accommodate us! Nope! So I went to Raina or Rena and she was super nice! Helped us with a room with fold out bed! She saved us!

Customer service was amazing and we were greeted when we walked in. They gave us hot Chocolate chips cookies when we checked in

Overall 10/10. Hotel staff greeted us cheerful as soon as we walked into their large, open, well lit, clean lobby. The staff at the front counter were extremely polite and friendly and quickly got us taken care of and to our room. King suit was perfect! Clean, really spacious, great layout, and my son (8) absolutely loved that the tv even had, “Hello Elise” bouncing around on the screen. Hotel resturant was also good, and the breakfast was more than you could even ask for. They had everything! Honestly, I couldn’t recommend Double Tree in Hattiesburg, MS enough. They really were amazing all the way around, and we really appreciated everything so much.

Friendliest staff of any hotel I've ever stayed at, they were ALL pleasant and made you feel welcome. Hotel was nice....convenient to restaurants, shopping and the interstate.

The lobby area is very nice. Staff interactions were great. The rooms were mostly clean, but dirt was present in corners of bathroom. Only two towels were left in both suites. One seat had an air conditioner leak, and the floor was soaked. We alerted the front desk, but they didn’t have a room to move us to. The ac still worked , so we slept well (I loved the linens BTW), but we were confined to the beds because of the wet floor. We were not offered any sort of compensation other than a kind apology at the front desk. We paid for the complimentary breakfast, but when we got down there, there was no coffee, no creamer or sugar. It was 80% empty at 8am. There was also no silverware. I asked for silver ware, and they only brought out 2. I had a party of 6. It took them about 45 minutes to refill coffee and the food. Some just turned around and walked out This was a paid buffet! The pool area had no towels available and we had to walk through the hotel wet to get some. The pool was very cloudy, you wouldn’t have been able to even see someone in distress! The could be very likely, as there were children running around the slippery pool (even had adults chasing kids at one point)a flapping on he floor in front of the shower. pool rules were not enforced, so the pool was not enjoyable for all at all.

Restaurant was staffed with one person so getting food or service was abysmal. This is the first Hilton I have stayed in where there was no free breakfast buffet. Rooms were not cleaned well and had an odd smell.

Large, clean room. Our reservation stated that breakfast was included, but it wasn’t. We had to pay $30 for breakfast for 2.
