Comfort Suites Hattiesburg near University

Overall the stay was exceptional. The front desk clerk was polite. The hotel was eye catching, very quiet and clean. Even though the hotel was packed from a football game. My room was clean and comfortable! The only downside was the elevator stopped working at the time of check out. We had to use the stairs and carry our luggage from 3rd floor.

AC unit wouldn’t cool the room. I was told to turn it off for 15 minutes and try again. There were no other rooms to move us to that could accommodate us. The lady stated she didn’t know what else to do she didn’t know who was on maintenance. We ended up going and buying a $40 fan to help get us through the weekend. The room smelled like mold terribly. Indoor pool was freezing cold, so it’s not heated. The washing machine and dryer were both very old and smelly. The facility was recently remolded it looked like but it was lacking in so many important ways. The carpets stink going down the halls. First room floor has no carpet, making everything seem louder in a room with children. The staff were friendly, and the little deck out back was nice to sit and enjoy for a little bit.

The microwave and telephone didn’t work. The clerk suggested I reset the outlet. Apparently they have electrical issues. The elevator door opened and closed repeatedly before moving. I’ll try the Hilton across the street next time.

The hotel is under renovation, it probably will be ok next year, but right now the rate being 7.4/10 it’s WAY too much for this hotel. The room is totally outdated and the renovation that’s coming is well needed. The pool’s water was a dark green that I didn’t want risk to get in there with my son. The breakfast wasn’t bad, nothing extraordinary, just scrambled eggs, toast, sausage and waffles and drinks of course!

Awesome patio and indoor pool. That grill saved us a lot of money on eating out 💕 coming back again. 💕💕

Hotel is clean and staff is friendly. Pool hours are not very convenient only opening from 10am to 8pm

When i made the reservation i spoke with a lady at the hotel and asked for an early check in she said it would be ok as no one was in the room the nigbt bwfore my arrival on the day if i called ahead and was told there was someone in the room and i couldnt check in early the gitle was doing renovations while i was there so it was noisey and lots of works and boxes / items in the way alot of the boxes were put in the workout room and prevented it from being used well also the work out equilment was in bad condition and the treadmill didnt work the presidential suite looked liked they combines 2 or 3 rooms and had spaces with nothing in them very odd the workers knocked on the door daily to ask about installing items only thing they actually installed was new curtains/ blinds they brought a new stand/ drawrrs in for the closet and jus left in the middle of the room? They also took the desk chair and said they had a new one but never brought it ? Stay was not restful of good

It was an average stay. Staff was amazing per usual. Easy check-in and check-out. Elevator had a mind of its own, but staff was efficient in helping us learn its quirks. Bathroom was clean, though the hotel had hard water, and came out very orange. A tile right infront of the shower was basically falling through the floor. The plug for the drain in the tub was stripped so it wouldn’t work properly. But other that that the stay was perfect.

The hotel was wonderful except we booked this hotel for the indoor pool and was told it was closed for maintenance upon our check in. It should be noted that pool is not available upon booking.

No, just no. In town for a weekend ball tournament and chose the hotel because it was less expensive than surrounding hotels. I should know better. I have pretty high standards, but also realize this is just an interstate hotel. So I wasn't expecting anything amazing, but I was disappointed and won't stay here again. Paper thin walls... we could hear all the noise above us, just people walking around but enough to wake us all up at 2 in the morning. Shabby, ratty couch and pillows, stained headboards and chairs, dusty air conditioner. I will say the front desk was nice and I had no concerns for service or staff. The area is great, we always stay in the area for baseball. Just not here again.

The room was not nothing like it showed on the web site, the room had a terrible smell to it, The pillow cases had holes in them, The window had one drape panel on it could not close drapes and street light shined in the room all night, the furniture had stains on it. NO IT WAS NOT WORTH $120.00 DOLLARS a night. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was just dirty. We had to call the desk, get cleaner, and clean the headboard. There were body fluids and hand prints from the previous guests. They had fun in the room that wasn’t cleaned up. The real issue was we had to clean it ourselves!!

AC didn’t work and saw roaches in bathroom

When I first arrived, the room I was given had a strong unpleasant odor, and I had to go in first to check it out. Thankfully, I was moved to a better-smelling room, but unfortunately, the entire hallway leading to it still had a strong sewer-like smell. On top of that, the bathtub in the new room was dirty, which made the stay uncomfortable.

The first room door was stuck and hard to open. The remote did not work. The sheets on the sofa bed was dirty. The 2nd room toilet didn’t flush Refrigerator did not get cool Shower head was dirty The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

I wish I could post a picture of the HUGE roach that greeted us within 3 minutes of us arriving.

The rug in our room was sticky. Also, the armrest on the wooden partition next to the couch was extremely sticky to the touch. Felt very unclean.

Good stay, however I booked the presidential suite because it said private hot tub and there was NOT a hot tub. Falsely advertised. It is a bathtub. If i knew that, i would have saved money and gone with a regular room.

Do not stay here. Had to leave at 10 pm bc they had no one to fix the broken ac and i had my baby with me. The desk clerk brought me a disgusting fan with dust all over it suggesting we use that for the baby. The fridge also did not work. Stains all over the couch.

Amazing experience during my stay! The bed was super comfy, as were the pillows. The room was very nice, and I loved that the TV was a smart TV, allowing me to watch Netflix and Prime.

Older property. Extremely well kept. Looks like remodeled in the not too distant past. Pretty good breakfast. Extremely good staff. Breakfast was busy on our stay on Holiday weekend. But management had at least 4 people helping stock and clean breakfast area. They worked at it really hard.

Mr. Patel at the front desk was amazing. He met all of our needs and was super sweet. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

We booked and paid for a double double suite for our family of 6. Arrived after midnight to find out this room was not available. We were given a King suite. The lady at check in was very apologetic and kind, but with no other rooming options we had a portion of our party sleeping on the floor. She gave us plenty of bedding and offered a late checkout since we were arriving after 1:00am. All staff we met were exceptionally kind. Only major complaint was booking error.

The guy working the front was excellent. Really made me feel welcome and not just another random person. When my wife and I got in later, someone had music up so loud it was impossible to think…I went to front desk and this guy took care of it in a flash, had no other issues

The hotel is clean,the staff was friendly,Yoge and Robin are very friendly,and housekeeping goes above and beyond for the essentials you need.Breakfast is great and on time.I allready have reservations for later this month.

My stay was great. Room clean comfortable bed staff friendly even allowed me to check in early.

Check in was a breeze. Front desk staff was very friendly at both check in and check out. Breakfast was good. The bed was comfy. We were exhausted from driving 6+ hours. I would recommend this hotel. They were in the process of a remodel but it will be better when it’s done.

Desk lamp in room didn't have any light bulbs ~ front desk took one out of a lobby lamp for me. Was there 5 days and never got another bulb. Kleenix box had ONE kleenix in it ~ was never replaced ~ breakfast was over at 9 am ~ employee had everything removed by 8:55 and turned the room light out at 9 even with guests still trying to get some breakfast. Fresh fruit one morning only. No waffle mix two mornings as they "ran out". at 6 feet tall ~ when I used the toilet ~ my knees were elevated ~ toilet was approx 24 inches off floor. Was just right for 9 yr old grandson. Local thrifty nickel really doesn't qualify as a free local paper. Employees seem distant and not really interested in being of help.

Breakfast was great love the eggs...parking was very convenient and safe 5 stars

There were not a lot of food options for people with food allergies, so having gluten free options would be wonderful! I also was not sure of the breakfast hours and couldn’t find the hours posted anywhere. I missed breakfast the first day, came down an hour early the second day, and came down at the right time on the third day.

My room had an unmade bed, disheveled bathroom, and beer can on the nightstand when I first came in. Property was being remodeled and there were mattresses all over the hallways, the elevator barely worked, and breakfast was that was supposed to last until 9:00 am was completely empty of anything but cereal and bagels - no eggs, sausage, or bacon left. Terrible hotel!
