Holiday Inn Express Pascagoula-Moss Point by IHG

The thing that saved this rating and earned it a decent score..the complimentary BREAKFAST. Probably the best we have ever had at a small hotel like this. It truly was great and well maintained. Bed was comfy. AC was cold. Crib provided was very easy to use and sturdy. The not so good. Employees not very friendly and rooms not the cutest or trendiest, not to mention ours didn’t seem well cleaned. Empty soap box and a long hair in the sink. My workout obsessed daughter was also unable to access the gym due to some issue with the door??? I know, who works out on a road trip but she does and we had to listen to her gripe and complain. Ugh.

I booked my room with hotels.com and get here get in the room and it not the king bed and disable bathtub that I need and requested on hotels.com so I go back to desk to tell him that I am handicapped and I had special requests for king bed and tub that had handicapped stuff to help me like tub bars for getting in and out! This guy knew I had cerebral palsy when I checked in I walked with knees bent and my speech is hard to understand but anyway he said I’m sorry that hotels.com didn’t get the request for the special for this booking and the other rooms are booked except for the more expensive rooms that I guess he was not going to give it to me even though he said that they were breaking the ADA law! He didn’t offer me anything at all! Only good thing was the hot tub which I had to get bands from him to use it he didn’t offer it when we checked in! We paid high price for the hot tub spa and the accommodations that we did not get! Not to mention that the room was on 2nd floor and down really long hallways all the way down almost the end for a cerebral palsy woman who has trouble walking around that’s very uncomfortable for my body! This place could have done something it’s really big and expensive I’m not saying it’s not really nice place it’s! It has a outdoor pool and hot tub/spa really good and a kiddy pool nearby pool gated area I haven’t had breakfast yet but I’m sure it is ok and I haven’t seen the gym or office area but I’m sure it’s nice I can’t believe they would rat

When I checked in, my room smelled terrible; moldy and dank smelling. I thought I was going to have to go to the front desk in the middle of the night because of the smell. However, after I sprayed some perfume into the filter, the smell became much better. The AC filters may be molded and in need of replacement. The front desk staff was fantastic! VERY helpful and professional.

The King Suite was complete with all of the amenities you'd. need for a comfortable stay. The staff are very helpful and attentive.
