Super 8 by Wyndham Moss Point

It was okay. No bugs. Good price. The room inside had some recent updates. Somebody needs to take a Magic Eraser or something to the doors and doorjambs - they were filthy. The outside could use some maintenance. Some "guests" are living here.

The guy at the front desk was super nice and friendly but the hotel itself was very disappointing. It had none of the amenities that the site stated it had. The first room was smaller than expected. There was no fridge in the room, lighting was horrible. The AC leaked on the inside floor of the room and it had a smell of mildew in the room. The ice machine didn’t work on the property. There was no pool as promised. The next room he moved us too. Was bigger but there was no microwave or fridge. Smoke detectors had been removed from all rooms. Granted the rooms were clean and the outside was also. The website is very misleading.

I wouldnt let kids out of your sight, alot of wooded area for kids to go in and end up possibly hurt. Property is not fenced in and people fly into the parking area. I almost got hit twice due to not being lit at all near wooded area while walking my dog. There is NO BREAKFAST at this property like all other properties have..... We will not being staying at this Property again.... The room couldve been alot more cleaner - doors and shower curtain was dirty and the towel was stained they did not look like they was washed at all but smelled clean..

Did not like bare wires hanging from ceiling. Did not like people sitting on stairs.

Very unsafe spot for that hotel. Many permanent renters are occupying parking spots, and they just hang around at night. Breakfast is a joke, we ran the hell out of there not even with a coffee. Will not come back.

Car in parking lot with smash windshield ,passenger side window tape up, and someone was staying in car .Told manager , seems not to bother him . No dinette table in room , no iron or ironing board , for two guest only one set of wash cloth and face towel , no where to hang your coats .

This is a place for road warriors but not for families. The first floor rooms smell awful. Combination of smoking violations and just musty in general. Front desk switched my family to two upstairs rooms and they had no odor so I would request an update room. The older lady at the front did the best she could with what she had. I have no complaints about her service. The property was extremely well lit and I felt a safety level of about 7/10.

Easy access with trailer

We booked 2 rooms, each with 2 queen beds. The staff were kind, however the rooms were very dirty. Sticky spots on bathroom floors, holes and stains on towels. I pulled back sheets to find lint, large stains, and sizable cigarette burn holes in two of the bed sheets. One of our rooms smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. We changed rooms and the smell was fine, still found stained sheets and dirty floors in the next room. Also fingernail clippings under the bedside table, the cleaning person must have bad eyesight. We should not have been charged full price for these dirty conditions. Unbelievably gross rooms!

There were silverfish in the tub, a cockroach on the sink faucet and the floors were peeling up. There was a live exposed wire hanging from the remnants of a fire alarm on the ceiling. The non-smoking room reeked of smoke and who knows what else. There was a footprint on the bed. It was absolutely disgusting.

Guess you pay for what you get! The floors left your feet black when walked around. The bath tub was nasty water was yellow. The sheets felt wet definitely not clean you can just feel how nasty they was. And last the room smelt like smoke it was a no smoking room but it was definitely smoked in.. Don’t think you’re getting breakfast even when it’s still out the guy told me couldn’t get breakfast after 9 that is breakfast still. But anyway like I said you get what you pay for.

Staff was exceptional. Room was dirty. Literally had crumbs on the floor by the bed and the floor was sticky. I could Enot get the TV to work.

The room had so much dampness that the bathroom floor stayed wet. We also had a roach climbing on the wall.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke. The floor had dirt film. The telephone didn't work.

Room reeked of cigarettes despite being non-smoking, cigarette ash on top of the surfaces, several cigarette burns on the sheets and bedspread with holes all the way through, large stains on pillows. Floor hasn’t been swept or mopped — hair and dirt everywhere. Mattress cover hasn’t been washed or cleaned - lots of debris and hair.

The bathroom area could have been cleaner. Brown spots on door were disgusting. Twice during the night, the alarm went off on the car outside our window. Made for a poor night's sleep. Bed was made of springs and squeaked with every movement. Front office was very friendly and helpful.

New hotel with amazing suites

Right off exit 69. Easily accessible off the interstate. Go to spot. The large smart TVs come in clutch when I bring my daughter with me she’s able to watch Netflix. All around can’t complain this is the best for the price. Pretty much always the cheapest in town and it’s a new hotel

We stayed in room 103. The good: No critters. Bed was clean. Surrounding area was quiet. New sink, counters, hard flooring, blackout curtains, fresh paint. The bedding was good. Mattress was comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant. The bad: Floors were not clean. A damp swiffer would have made it better. Because they took the carpet out, you can hear the little kids above you chasing each other at midnight. The towels were laundered, but permanently stained. They say they have recently remodeled. New paint, but it looks like underlying issues were not fixed, just painted over. Stains in the bathroom walls and shower. Hand rails not properly cleaned and sealed. Build up in the drain. Worst of all, the pedestal the mattress sits on makes you feel like you are in a thunderstorm. Rolling over or getting in or out triggers a “boom or bang.” The pedestal is made sheet metal. Ever shaken a a piece of sheet metal to simulate thunder? That’s the sound. And you can hear bangs faintly it from the rooms around you. The frame around the picture at the headboard cuts across at a bad location if you are trying to watch TV in bed. The recent high reviews gave us high hopes. Sadly, our experience did not live up to them. Maybe we just got a room that was neglected.

Overall kind of what you’d expect for the price. Bed was uncomfortable, room was a little stuffy (even with the dehumidifier running), some bugs in the bathroom. But as a one night road trip stop it got the job done.

The unit inside the room was so noisy we couldn’t sleep. It kicked off and on very loudly all night. There wasn’t anything to speak of for a breakfast. Staff was nice but I wouldn’t pick this again.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean, and staff was friendly. Good experience for a value hotel. Waffle House next door was convenient.

Front desk are helpful

Professional staff. The owners are amazing! The rooms are spacious love the work space and desk. I would definitely recommend. Check out the weekly monthly rates very reasonable.

There were wires hanging from the ceiling, dirty handprints all over everything, the shower was dirty, the blow dryer cord was open wires with no plug. When attempting to change rooms we were sent to a room that was already occupied. Also the neighborhood is not good.

My room is extremely noisy from 3-4 long term Tenants, who sit outside with chairs, dogs, talking extremely loud outside my door basically all the time, during my 2 days Francine evacuation. I can not sleep / resting during morning to night time.

Convenient for a short stay and not far from the highway.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, I filtered for "breakfast included" and they did not offer breakfast despite their website showing that as an amenity. Person who checked us in said they stopped serving breakfast because they did not have the necessary food license. There is a Waffle House directly across the street and plenty of close by (quick drive) restaurants - i.e., McDonalds, Burger King, etc.

The gentleman who checked us in was so pleasant... I might have left when I learned there was no breakfast, tea, coffee or hot water... yes there are renovations going on but the washcloths were filthy... I would not stay or recommend this place nothing like advertised...
