No hot tub any more, room was dirty and multiple things broken in the room, can hear neighboring rooms, the young kids above us were jumping around and yelling most of the night.

Our blanket had a hole in it, brought it to housekeepings attention and they do not replace, pool towels were stained and had large holes. Jets do jot work in hot tub. Pool area needs. Huge update, cracked and missing tiles, loose railings

Tried to check in at 5pm. Room wasn't ready. We were on the 3rd floor and the elevator was broken. Overall, a bit disappointing but the room was decent once we could actually occupy it.

Mantainance was need on the bathroom sink faucet,The room phone did not work, the WiFi did not work for 4 days that we stayed there. The bathroom door had extreme rust on the hinges, tub caulking was spotty and missing. Corporate needs to set it up in the maintenance department

We picked the hotel based on proximity to the Scheels arena. We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean. Front desk was quick and polite at check in. For the money, it was a good stay!

Employees in street clothes, no uniforms. Carpet stain in the breakfast area. Watery eggs and shrivelled grey sausages. Damaged/puttied hotel room doors. Peeling and broken tile in the non-functioning hot tub. Candy wrappers and band aids on the pool deck. Ripped, frayed and holed pool towels.

The hot tub wasn’t working - with no notice even though this wasn’t a recent problem.

The hotel is conveniently located right off I-94 with gas stations and a variety of restaurants within two blocks. The hotel has a nice pool and gym. The breakfast offerings and eating area is very nice. The bed and room are very comfortable with a separate area for a microwave, frig and coffee maker.

With the recent snowfall, the parking lot was not properly cleared of snow. Not enough parking for those staying. Staff told me to park next door at the restaurant. If the hotel would have paid for snow removal there would have been enough spaces.

Very clean and quiet wish they still had the hot tub but still a great pool and hotel we will definitely be staying there again

Room was so dirty and dusty. Outlets, basrboards, boxsprings and behind the bed was so dusty ans dirty. I was scared to move to quick to have dirty n dust fly up. Baseboards through out the hotel were so dirty especially near elevators. Place needs a good wipe down and good vaccume

Hotel was clean, rooms smelled clean and fresh.

Our room was not very clean, especially the bathroom. There was dirt on the tile in the shower. At first thought it was a stain so I took a cloth and wiped it and it came clean. The counter was not clean and the floor.

My room had a dirty stained comforter. The carpets were filthy. The room smelled old and musty. The pictures on the site did not represent the hotel room in the least. I switched rooms and the freezer which I needed use of was filthy. Something had obviously melted and was never cleaned. I was not impressed at all. We arrived later evening after a long drive or would not have stayed here. Luckily had my own pillow. Wi does, walls and doors scuffed up. The hotel needs a huge facelift. Terrible disrepair.

Two night stay - my mom and I shared a room because my dad was in the hospital. We arrived late our first night. The lady at the front desk was quick and nice. Come to find our room had mold on one wall. She quickly moved us to a new room. Next morning, upon the first flush of the day our toilet started overflowing. We shut the water off, finished getting ready, then just used the toilet downstairs. We were off to the hospital and let the front desk know what happened. We were given a plunger to try to fix the issue but it did not work. We arrive back that evening to a clean bathroom and it appeared the toilet was fixed. Used it again and the SAME THING started happening. My mom had fallen asleep so I didn't want to wake her. She woke to use the bathroom but had to go downstairs. Desk lady was super busy checking in a bunch of people and said she'd get back to us. She never did. Following morning the smoke alarms went off at 6:20 AM. Had to keep using the bathroom in the lobby. Asked for a partial refund and was supposed to hear back from a manager. Never heard anything. We should have checked out and left the first time but we were so tired and exhausted. Hotel in general is in need of a facelift.

The hotel is severely outdated. Mold in shower, room felt damp and the elevator smelled like urine. Entire feel of the room and hotel was unclean. Would not stay here again.

Very nice front desk staff. Unfortunately, our room smelled terrible. It was a sour smell from the carpet. Very pungent. Our room had not been vacuumed and was very dirty. Bathroom was dirty, floor was dirty. It was gross because we could tell it was multiple times of not being cleaned correctly. Would not come back.

Clean and quiet. Staff were all frieand helpful. I appreciate it is a pet free hotel!

Run down, unclean, highway noise

Our room was huge which was nice, but it was evident it hadn't been appropriately cleaned. There was dust all over every surface, including the bathroom counter. Next to the bed there were blonde hairs. Next to the far side of the bed it looked like someone had exploded a soda on the wall and it had not been wiped up. The T.V. kept buffering, making it hard to watch. The trash cans were tiny! In the bathroom, the toilet paper was affixed to the counter which was so far away from the toilet that you had to get tissue before you went to the bathroom. The breakfast was nice, however, they have two waffle irons. One worked well and both mornings we went down there the other got all gummed up over and over despite folks spraying it. I think the finish has worn off and it just needs replaced. Also, both mornings they were out of eggs and we went down about 7:30 a.m. The lobby was beautiful and the area to dine was lovely. The kids loved the pool and the exercise room and used both extensively. So it was better than average, but not a perfect stay. The desk help was WONDERFUL.

Let me start with the positives. The hotel is in a great location, just off the main shopping street, in a safe area, and conveniently located near a Wendy’s and Subway in the same parking lot. The staff, especially the lady who checked us in, were incredibly friendly and helpful, as were all the employees we encountered. However, there were some significant downsides. While the lobby smelled fine, as soon as we opened the door to our room on the main floor, we were hit with a strong, musty odor. It was quite unpleasant. We hoped the smell would dissipate once we turned on the heat, but it didn’t. The bathroom was also very outdated and had the same musty smell. We considered asking to switch rooms, but it was late, and we just needed to rest for the night. Would I stay here again? Unfortunately, no.

I was very dissatisfied with the beds. They were sagging in the middle very badly. Horrible sleeps and back aches in the mornings. Would sink in the middle of the bed. After a long day we wanted to rest and the condition of the beds didn’t help. Would not stay at this hotel again.

Great stay. Front desk was so friendly when checking in. The system was down at check in, but still got me in very quickly. Room smelled good and overall in great condition. My first time staying at a Wingate, and I will definitely be back!

Room was spacious and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Tub wasn’t the best shape. Bathroom door needs to be repaired, could barely close it, was so tight and then was afraid I was going to break something off the door jam.

The room with the single king bed had a lot of open space with 2 chairs for sitting, in addition to a chair at the desk. Very spacious room.

This is a decent discount hotel in a very convenient location. Shopping and many dining locations nearby. ,It appears that some updating of the rooms are in progress, but quite behind schedule. The mattresses are worn out and the hall carpeting and air returns are filthy. The breakfast is the same each day, but is attended vigilantly to assure that items don’t run out. If you are young, on a budget and not affected by mattress quality, this is a great choice. For seniors like us with back issues, I would recommend an option you are familiar with to get a good nights sleep.

Comfortable bed, large room, quiet fan, great night’s sleep!

This hotel is near one of the busiest streets in Fargo. Our room faced this street. It was extremely noisy with car and street noise even with the fan and air running constantly.

The staff was amazing I give it a 10 out of 10 and will definitely will be back soon.

One of the worst experiences at a hotel I have had. Called 14 times with no answer from staff. My room got cancelled after being told we were coming late. Was then double charged for that room. Also the woman who cancel my room was using curse words while being very unhelpful to get me checked back into my room. No customer should ever have the f word thrown around multiple times at check in.

I checked in on the online portal. They double charged me. $698 left my account. I have not seen a refund

Our stay was great. We were initially given a room without a sofa bed. I went back to the front desk to inquire and it was taken care of right away. The staff were all very friendly. From the front desk personnel to the cleaning staff. They made our stay very pleasant.

Carole at the front desk was helpful and super friendly, even at midnight when we checked in! The rooms were clean and the hotel is located in a great area of Fargo. I would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional service as my wife left a small purse in the room and the hotel called when they found it and they will be sending it to our home as we were to far from the hotel when we found out about our error to head back. Thanks to the staff.

Staff were very friendly and helpful (I asked for silverware as I had ordered food in that was delivered without any) and the desk staff took me to the breakfast area and got me a fork and a plate. Although there were a lot of guests the weekend I stayed, the hotel was very quiet and I got a good night sleep.

Staff were fantastic. Cleaning ladies all acknowledged and smiled. Other staff helpful and time spent here was relaxing

Excellent location with many restaurants and stores nearby. Rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the simple contental breakfast.

Breakfast was ok,but the same eggs and sausage were served all 3 days,eggs were chewy on 3rd day,sausage could be hotter,staff were excellent,toilet could use an upgrade as flush mechanism would stick,otherwise we were satisfied.

Rooms were nice and clean. Very comfortable beds. The breakfast was very good. A good selection of foods.,The evening and morning staff were very friendly. The only negative was the carpets in the hallways. They could use some updating.

The breakfast was a disappointment. We were there for several nights and we had the exact same menu every morning. It was still a good value but something other than a gray meat and scrambled eggs would have been nice. Also, no potatoes, This was a first for us. Overall our stay was a good value and enjoyable.

Comfortable room. Overall, nice stay. Complimentary breakfast was disappointing as not kept stocked up on primary items and service attendant was too slow to keep up with barely average guest traffic.

The property had breakfast included, but no gluten free bread or cereal options. The property is in need of renovation and was not as clean as we expected.

We stayed for 6 days and the staff and continental breakfast were excellent. And dining options in the neighborhood was very convenient.
