Definitely a work in progress! Older property that had not been maintained the new owners have undertaken some major renovations, e.g., new coat of paint in our room. And the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. But still a work in progress,e.g., room AC only marginally functioning and the mini refrigerator in the room was working when we put in it left overs from our lunch--in the morning it had defrosted and the water from the ice box has soaked (and ruined) out left overs.

The parking lot was dark and there were some sketchy activities in the vehicles in the parking lot. Door D was closest to my room in the lower level, and the light was burnt out making it dark and unsafe. The remote control was missing from the bedroom, and the furniture was falling apart.

Room was clean. Tried to check for bed bugs but couldn’t take the mattress protection off the corner to check the mattress. Sheets stained in some small spots. The lobby and hallways are okay. No breakfast or coffee. Two vending machines though. Random people just hanging out that weren’t guests, not sure if they are friends or family of owners. Staff was friendly and attentive at check in. My group was in a bind for some place to stay and it made due but wouldn’t recommend people to stay there.

Very nice place to stay. Wonderful staff. Rooms are clean. Quiet and comfortable. Rooms have mini fridge and microwave. Cant beat the price !!!

Receptionist was super friendly. Normally I’m a “you get what you pay for” person, somewhere safe to sleep and no amenities is fine. None of the doors to the outside actually locked, the place was a weird maze. I figured if the room was clean and water hot it would be fine. I was able to shower then discovers the towels were stained, one was used and put back, but one was clean. After showering was trying to sleep and all of a sudden weed smoke just permeated everything. Every nook and cranny of the room. I packed my stuff and called the front and she offered another room, but every hallway was filled with stale smoke. She did advise me to call Expedia and i got a refund. Front desk was great but just skip this place unless you are desperate for weekly rate place to crash.

They’re in the process of remodeling. Staff is very friendly.

Our stay at the Bison was ok. The hosts were wonderful. The drawers on dresser wouldnt stay closed. No coffee in the room or the lobby. We would stay there again.

The place is unsafe as the back door has been unlocked and open to anyone 24/7.Men in their bikes roaming around the area looking out to the parked vehicles. The hallway and the rooms are dirty and smell disgusting. The pillows are old and flat with stains. Unable to sleep because of the noise as people are coming in and out of the building. On the positive end, we were able to check-in and check-out smoothly with no issues at all.

Blood on sheets. Burn holes on sheets. Very dirty and dusty under the beds...interior entrance door slammed shut all night long. Woke up to a slashed tire

blood on the bed, something sprayed across the walls and ceiling, feces on the bathroom wall, dirty towels, bugs in the bed and on the side dresser, nasty smells, someone kept pounding and pulling on my door, holes in the wall, horrific experience i do NOT recommend. i booked a king and they moved me to a queen because they’d “sold out”. the smoke alarm was not attacked to the wall, no idea where it was. sketchy experience as a solo femme presenting person. thought the pull out couch would’ve been cleaner…. feces stains haha. the mirror on the wall was super strange too, i couldn’t ease my doubt that it was a two way. SCARY

Smelled heavily of pot when I walked in. Had to search for the office. Mirror in bathroom was gross. Got home, washing everything in hot water because of the bedbug bites.

Killed a cockroach in the bathroom. No hot water for shower in the morning. Worst place we have ever stayed in traveling around the United States. And there was no quiet time like they posted 10pm to 7am. Partying till 4:30 in the morning!!! Sheets were stained with burn marks and bathtub too. Refrigerator and air conditioner were antiques and noisy!! And husband found needle syringe in parking lot when walking our dog in the morning before we left!! Very very disappointed!!!!!

The room was very dirty, the ceiling had splattered something on it, the bathroom had hair and spatters all over and the room smelled very strong like pee. I was pretty grossed out.

The room was caked in grime. The walls were dirty and our shoes stuck to the floors. Bathroom was filthy had pubes all over and a used cotton ball on the floor by the toilet. Staff was less than happy about checking me in so I felt like it wasn’t worth complaining about it to him

The room smelled terrible. Bathtub was filthy with hair all in the bottom of it. Bugs crawling on the walls. The mattress under the sheets was filthy. Doors slamming all night. I got no sleep. Exposed electrical wires and lights blinking like they had a short.The front desk clerk was extremely nice and helpful. I already paid for it so we stayed. I was gonna ask for a refund but i was so ready to leave. Never again.

There were bed bugs in the first room. The second room dirt and debree under the sheets. Left and went to a different hotel. Trying to get a refund

The hotel smelled like pot and not the best location. A lot of people living at this hotel. A two star hotel. The front lady was nice and the beds were comfortable. Our room smelled like pee. Don’t plan on staying there again. It was only one night and wasn’t sure what it was like when we booked it. Looks like they have been trying to update it but has more to go.

Im kindly on the rocks with this place. It wasnt horrible. For a budget/economy hotel, i guess it works. You get what you pay for, right? The heater worked, the bed wasnt bad. Coming into the room, the light switch by the door didnt work. So it was dark. Mini fridge and microwave in room. They have a sign up for quiet time, 10 pm to 6 am. It kindly appears that locals are living in the place. A couple of the people around the room i had were pretty loud and noisy, till around 11. Not constant, but slamming doors and loud talking in the halls. The toilet flushed like it was clogged. The room had a plunger in it, so it must be something they cant easily fix. The shower, the cover around the knob was not attached. It was pulled out away from the wall. Took probably close to 6 minutes for the water to get warm. 8 minutes to get hot. Its a cheap place to stay if thats what you are looking for, as a solo traveler. I wouldnt rent the place if i had the wife and/or kids with me.

It was okay. Barely adequate. The beds were actually the best part. Besides that, it’s pretty run down and the facilities are not even average. The toilet in our room would barely flush and even though the manager said he fixed it, it continued having problems. But toilets are one thing. They can have problems anywhere in the world, even nice hotels. The rooms were dingy and the halls reeked of piss. For the price I suppose it was to be expected. The manager and his wife were friendly and accommodating, but we will not stay there again. The place needs to be bulldozed and rebuilt up to first world standards.

The building looks old inside and out. My bathroom door had no lock. I couldn't even close the door.

The price for the room completely reflects the condition of the hotel. It was not in good shape. The biggest issue was the noise from a nearby street. No sound insulation at all, so bring earplugs!

The bed was clean a comfortable. The room smelled of smoke and the air conditioner had a funky smell when it ran. The sink was plugged and drained extremely slow. The shower was marginal and didn’t engage fully when operating. The motel is noisy from other guests being up all night and slamming doors.

could use better cleaning. it was slightly better than when the property was a Super 8. the best part of the stay was the bed. was very comfortable, once you got into it. beds might be a little high...

The hotel is quite shabby. The room was clean, but in a state of disrepair. There was a quarter inch gap between the window panes letting in cold air. Fortunately, the heater was able to keep up with it. The stopper in the bathroom sink was stuck so water wouldn't drain. There was no hot water in the shower.

Bathroom fan didn’t work. Floor was not clean. Window would not lock. Battery cover on tv remote was missing.

None of the 5 star reviews are real at this place. Booked through hotels.com. Non-refundable. Front desk lady said she could charge us $10 extra for early check in at 12:15 am and they only check people in after 4 pm. They charged us an extra $60. We assumed it was a deposit because we had already paid for the room. We called about the "deposit" and "Bobbi" stated they charge a $60 early check in for a $50 room. When we pulled up to hotel, there were 2 men laying on the stairs. Parked next to van with a man inside with his pants undone who was jacking off with his window down. As we were checking in, 2 cops arrived. A car pulled up in front of us and 2 women came running and jumped in and they sped out. My husband mentioned the guy jacking off and the front desk lady came out to him. She seemed like she knew him very well and was flirting with him. We went into the room and there were no towels, blood splatters and hair in the sink. The 2 rolls of toilet paper were sitting on the nasty sink. Toilet runs all night. TV has no cord to plug it in. The carpet has huge lumps of something hiding under it. There was an old dirty shirt behind the tv with blood or semen on it. My kids and I were attacked by bed bugs after sleeping a few hours. I had an allergic reaction to them. We ended up having to deep clean our car and all of our clothes and had to get meds for the bug bites. Lobby was filled with rolls of dirty carpet. DO NOT GET A ROOM HERE! Walmart parking lot is safer!

Terrible Experience – Denied Check-In Over Fraudulent Flag I booked a room through Expedia, but when I arrived, I was denied check-in because someone had previously booked a room under my name without my consent. The hotel claimed I was "flagged" and demanded an additional $400 deposit. I was treated unfairly, refused service, and left without accommodations. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Avoid this place.

Getting better with each time I stay. Desk staff is kinda rude. And I get locked out every time I go out for my morning cigarette

This hotel implements a $20 cash fee for extending your stay beyond what you originally book through the app, when you go to refresh your room key. If you book one night and its thirty minutes before checkout, you cannot extend your stay through the app without paying a $20 cash fee for any reason. Ridiculous rule. Not even the cheapest place in town. Nobody is ever attending the desk here either. Sink clogged, maintenance man banging on things outside your door first thing in the morning. Most ridiculous aspect is the $20 fee. Must be all that annoying paperwork getting in the way. I'm out.

They charged us extra to check in early. Then the room wasn’t ready, there were people having lunch in it. At 10 am on a Sunday morning air compressors started up along with the nail guns in the hallway. Absolutely terrible.

Last-minute stay and not much available. It was not a nice place-the staff was friendly. It’s very old.

For the price is was awesome. The manager that checked me in treated me like a friend and not just another guest. The room as comfortable and quiet. Don’t let the area fool you. I’d would definitely stay here again.

The Bed seemed to be cleaned but the facility was just dirty. Property is surounded by dirt, you can smell weed everywhere in the facility. Not a safe area and definitely nit worth the money. Add another 20bucks/night and find a safer place to stay

STAY away from this property. It is located in a bad part of town. Derelict vehicles and people in parking lot. We were relatively certain that with the amount of human activity un oarking lit in broad daylite that our vehicle would have been damaged. Broken exterior windows on units, terrible smell in lobby, dirty stairwells and carpeta in halls, broken exterior door locks, terrible smell in room. To be fair the bed looked well made, but the bathroom was absolutely filthy. We did not stay there and the hotel chose not to refund our booking.

The people at the front desk were friendly, understood English very well. Had to vaccum the room and wipe down the tables. Other than that it was fine. They don’t have breakfast but they do serve juice and coffee all day. Bathrooms need remodeling though.

Very poor breakfast selection. The facility is dirty, smelly, and poor staffing. I had no shampoo or soap in the room. A microwave that didn’t work and a room that smelled like mold.

the Bison Inn @ Suites looks remodeled well in the not so distant past. the staff was attentive apologetic. The floors were stained and dirty. The coffee station had no napkins and the small cups overflowed and burt=nt your hands,no stirs sticks or spoons. counter dirty. Juice machine spouts looked unclean. The room was basic as expected and bed was made. Bathroom had not been cleaned. Help seemed overwhelmed and not been cleaned,not enough staff.

The don't offer breakfast BUT the coffee is amazing. The mattress is better then the one I have at home and quite possibly the softest sheets I have ever touched in my life. Staff is real down to earth and tolerant of the kids who loved running threw the maze like set up of the property. It was a surprisingly pleasant vibe during a stressful time. No continental breakfast like the add said. Grabbed a coffee in the morning. The counter was a filthy mess. Not a soul around.

We asked for extra towels and pillows multiple times to the owner. He kept telling us he would in a little bit. We never got them. When I tried to go to bed I discovered that all the bedding was stained. I asked for replacements and was told there were no extras, and I was assured they were clean. You can smell a pool but it's not open. Their breakfast was a huge plate of chocolate chip and m&m cookies. And an alarm went off in the middle of the night in the hallway. No idea what it was for as the staff would not tell me. Just an alarm at 2 or 3 in the morning with no explanation. DON'T STAY HERE!!
