I think once their remodel finishes this would be a hotel worth staying at. The only reason this gets 2 stars is because the staff was so friendly, the hot tub was hot and pool area was clean, and the beds were comfy. It is also in a very convenient area. The bad outweighed the good, however. BEWARE that this is not a modern hotel... it is old/rundown, there is a smell as soon as you pass the lobby, and it is generally in bad condition. Due to remodel, the fitness area was closed. The wifi hardly worked, and the breakfast was free but not very good. The toilet in our room leaked, and the curtains did not close. The peep hole to our room was sort of jiggly and after inspecting closer we realized that we could pull it right out of the door if we unscrewed it. We already requested a different room after getting one of the hot tub suites (that's another story) so we just stuck with the room we got. I would never stay here with kids again. Not a bad place to stay if you're looking for something on the cheaper side, or if you just need somewhere to lay your head at night, but other than that... I'd stay away until the remodel is done.

Be mindful they are remodeling. Pool & hot tub area was nice. Breakfast area was pretty cool, honestly hope they dont update that area. Breakfast was VERY basic. Could definitely have more options. Courtyard needs work. Had to ask several times for towels, finally just took towels out of pool area. Reservation said i was getting an upgraded balcony room...it was no upgrade & not a balcony room. We clearly got a room that had not been remodeled yet. Location was convenient.

This place was absolutely horrible. We got to our room, the furnace was way up. Couldn't turn it down. The bathroom door didn't have a handle on it. Then we found dog poop on the floor. Ended up getting a new room. That one had a pile of human hair on the floor. The walls in both room are falling apart. If it wasn't late at night I would have went else where. This place should be turned into the state health department. Absolutely horrible. Can't believe I paid money for it.

This was the absolute most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Cigarette burns on comforter and carpet. Mold on ceiling in bathroom along with greasy hand prints on the wall. Stains on sheets, box spring, and bed skirt. This was unbelievable.

Facilities are old, dirty, and in desperate need of cleaning and remodeling. This place looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 80s and the carpets are at least 35 years old and definitely look it. Tubs didn’t drain, used tampons on the floor, boogers on the walls

Room was not clean. No washcloths except for the dirty one hanging one the shower curtain rod, curtains hanging cause there were hooks missing, no ice bucket, AND a big puddle of water on floor in front of sink after we used sink. Trying to get ready for a funeral in this disaster was disgusting! Will never stay at a Baymont again!!

The smell the smell the smell!! Nasty urine smell permeated the hallways and lobby. The old school AC in the room barely worked and left it muggy. The beds were comfortable and room was overall ok apart from being very dated. Grounds needed some TLC and a coat of paint all around. But to lay your head in a pinch, it did the trick. But don’t be fooled by the pics, as you will be mislead. Facts!

The first room assigned to us, the toilet did not flush. Staff moved us to a new room. The room was clean however the tub did not drain and the HVAC fan motor was really loud that we had to turn it off at night. The pool was really nice. Breakfast was decent. Location was great. Housekeeping did not come during our stay for trash or towels, but towels were delivered upon calling the front desk.

The only thing that we weren’t happy with was the wifi. We were travelling from Canada and didn’t want to pay for cell service so we needed to use the wifi. We had to leave the room and go in the hallway on the other side of the hotel to get enough wifi to login to our phones.

The room air conditioner did not operate. The outside temperature that day was near 100 degrees F. There was not another room available and no maintenance sevices were offered. A fan was given to us and we opened the door to the hallway to blow cooler air into our room. The fan blowing and the elevated temperatures made for a very uncomfortable sleep for the four guests. There were not adequate number of towels or pillows for the registered number of guests. Overall, we were very dissatisfied with our stay at this hotel.

7/4/25 Rm 121, Location in desperate need of a remodel/update. Taking a shower the tub filled up due to extremely slow drain. AC did not cool at all. Fan ran but didn’t cool. Turned it off and the room was tolerable. I would have gone to another hotel but I was on a motorcycle and a thunderstorm forced my choice on this location to get out of the storm.

The air unit was broken so the room only had heat which was bad. We had to get a fan and keep the door open in order to cool it down. We got very little sleep. We were not offered any other choice or reduction in price. At the very least we should have been moved or rate reduced. I was surprised the property did at least offer us a discount on future stay?

Front desk was friendly upon arrival and departure. Hotel smelled of smoke. Room was mostly clean, but the condition was rough. Curtains were falling off, hair dryer didn’t work, television only had a few channels that weren’t frozen, and the overall condition was outdated and in need of updates and repairs

The room was nice and spacious and accommodating . . . but, for whatever reason, the electrical outlets in the room did not power our electronics -- our PAP machines, our cell phone chargers.... Also, we couldn't figure out the AC system -- had to have someone from the office help.

Overall our experience was good. It was not 5-star but it was a place to lie our heads and sleep comfortably and safely. The initial room we were placed in did not have running water in the sink, the bathroom light was flickering (good thing we don't have seizures), the bed platform was way too big for the mattresses and the Wi-Fi wouldn't connect. I told the front desk where we met a maintenance guy who went to check things out immediately. The gal at the front desk also changed our room. Both were very apologetic and accommodating. The new room was better. We did notice a couple stains on the carpet but it was really no big deal to us as we were traveling with a dog, assumed another pet had been there previously, and we live the pet/dog life. IYKYK. The room was clean and spacious, and we really enjoyed the convenient access to the dog area/courtyard (pet rooms have their own back door to this area). The breakfast was delicious, however, we were only able to eat one morning (Sat) because they ran out of food (biscuits for biscuits and gravy and waffle mix) by 8:20am the second morning (Sun). The decor around the hotel is old but it appears they are in the process of maybe updating things or maybe just fixing things. Either way, it was nothing to deter us from staying there. The hot tub was the perfect temp (not sickening hot) and the pool area was never overcrowded during our stay. The online check in and out was super convenient. We would recommend this hotel.

I was put in a room with no AC and was not told this. There was hair all over in my bathroom the fridge did not stay closed. When we asked for a fan they offered to switch rooms when we did she gave us a key for someone else’s room so we walked into a room with someone in it after telling her she gave us a new key to a different room. I’ve stayed here many times and never received poor service like this but it was aweful and hair in my bathroom is disgusting

There from Monday till Wednesday. No housekeeping service at all. On July 16 my credit card was charged $577. Then on July 17 my credit card was charged $371. That is a total of $948 for 3 nights. I still have not received a receipt. This is really bad business. My next step is to involve my corporate legal team in this.

We had booked a specific room and was put into a lesser value room and charged for the room we booked. When we inquired we were told that room we booked was not available. There was hair in the tub and the sunk in the room was dirty. We were allowed to stay in the room we booked. Even though it was supposed to be painted but was ready to be used. We were also double charged for our stay.

Waited over 10 minutes to check in as no one was at the counter and I even rang the bell. Then while checking in the gal was talking to someone on speaker phone. Also a gentleman fell in the lobby with a walker and she was more concerned about finishing checking us in then making sure the gentleman was ok. Was told at check in breakfast was from 6-10 am and we went to breakfast at 845 and the gal was rude and said breakfast ends at 9. Door frame in our room was all busted out. Bed very uncomfortable.

It smelled of pot when I walked in. The lobby was dingy. It took almost 30 minutes to get checked in, with only 2 people ahead of me. The bathroom smelled dank and the flooring was bubbling up. There was a door at the back of the room with a lock on it that we couldn't open and we had no idea where it went. It wasn't clear upon booking that it was a motel so we were surprised to have an exterior entrance to our room. There's nothing about this place I would recommend. If the entire town hadn't been booked up for the weekend we would've found different accommodations.

I always stay in the affordable hotels. I’m not a rich man, I take what I can get. So every time I book a hotel I’m slightly nervous that I’ll be in a flea bag. But I’m almost always pleasantly surprised. This time my fears were actualized. Starting the second I walked in & had to wait TWENTY minutes for any staff member to come up to the desk. I’d been on the road for quite a while & was eager to get checked in so I could use the restroom. I had to wander around the hotel and find their public bathroom & the pungent old urine smell in it was like a punch in the face. I finally got checked in & the room smelled bad, there were gross looking long streaks all down the mirror, the sheet was stained (I don’t want to know what it was). I don’t think they cleaned anything, but it was especially evident that they didn’t clean the sink- there was hair in it and what was left when someone dumped coffee or soda in it, debris all over the floor & the flat tops of everything (fridge, etc). I never expect anything to be perfect, but there was honestly nothing appealing about this place. I would’ve gone elsewhere but after being on the road all day, I just didn’t want to deal with the hassle of making a fuss & being moved to another room that was probably just as bad, or worse- having to book at a different hotel and fight for a refund from this one. I didn’t dare go into the pool after seeing the state of my room. Also, the layout here is bizarre & it was hard to even find my room

Even though it did have Direct-TV throughout the hotel, but at least it's very nice to be along the interstate and it's very easy to do everything around town. Also, the bar looks very good and the patio looks great.

The staff from the minute you check in are super helpful. This was a last minute reservation and they did not disappoint. I was basically looking for a place for laying my head and going to a show. The ability to get right on University and navigate to the downtown area was extremely convenient.

We knew this place is going through major renos so there were no surprises. One night stay was just fine. Bed was comfy, towels clean and fresh, typical Wyndham breakfast. Just fine for a one night stay. Price was right. Staff was friendly.

The free breakfast was horrible. The scrambled eggs were so watery, the hard boiled eggs tasted awful as if they were very old, the breakfast area was a complete mess and when I told the person behind the counter, he said it was because he was alone. rooms and hotel appeared to be clean bed was comfortable i was unhappy that they didn't tell me that the pool area was closed when i booked the room i got woke up sunday morning 8:04 to a text they were wondering what time i was checking out, they had the worst un stocked hot breakfast i have ever seen i lost my appetite looking at it

At one point bathroom floor had standing water, don’t know where it came from, we were on our way out the door to our event so we cleaned it up came back and it was dry still. Due to the state of the floors and walls it clearly wasn’t the first time… outside definitely was deceiving, room was nice looking but whole hotel definitely could use some work. Pictures of the restaurant/breakfast area had me hooked and what a disappointment that was! The only part that was awesome was the casino/bar!
