The property's all rooms had ocean views or pool views. Has a mini fridge and coffee machine. The room stayed were very clean, quiet and comfy. I didn't hear neighbors' noises or voices unless I opened the balcony door. There are plenty of parking spaces for free, and the staff is very friendly. Also, there is a Cart Service to surrounding area for free (please tip the driver), and you can reserve between 9am and 10pm daily to get to restaurants and shops. One thing I noticed was that the beach is in front of the property, however, the ocean/water is far out, and you have to walk a bit in sands. This is not only for this property.

Front desk staff very friendly. Quiet after 9PM. Pool is ok, but could use a cleaning. It does not appear to be heated. Amenities are nice, ie: beach badges, transportation via golf cart to 1.5 miles away. Overall, a 4 out of 5 stars.

Our one night stay was great! Check in was quick and easy. Arrived before check in time but we were given our parking pass and beach passes and were told we could use the hotel amenities, which I think was amazing! They also provided the complimentary chairs and umbrellas and towels at the beach so we didn't have to carry anything. The staff were very friendly, the room was very clean and had everything we needed. Wish we could stay longer!

The ocean view was great. The walking path across the road is a nice feature. The attached restaurant was not so good - food mediocre at best. Service was not good. Hotel staff were great. Free parking a bonus, though the lot was small.

Overall hotel seemed to be a biit outdated and overpriced. Bathroom window was broken and rusted and did not close. Balcony was not private and floor in our room was sandy. Location next to the beach was nice. The hotel provided lounge chairs and an umbrella but took them back at 4 PM so we had to leave the beach earlier than we wanted.

Very convenient. Right off the beach and strips of good restaurants. Walkable distance from the Washington street mall. Gave us a corner room (#203) that has a sliding door to the staircase which we were not comfortable. Loud music from Harry’s but which was not bothered with closed window/sliding door. Not sure if we want to come back.

Nice hotel and great location. A few issues: Beds hard as a rock Trash truck woke us up at 5am! “Private balcony” was actually not private at all, no railing and people from the restaurant were sitting in our area. Complimentary umbrella and chairs had to be returned at 5pm every day, too early! And you have to give them up at 1pm on checkout day! Very inconvenient!

I would not label this a “luxury” hotel. It is dated. The sliding doors need to be replaced, the amenities in the bathroom are few and the mattress is subpar. However, it is within walking distance of everything in Cape May. Beware that there is quite a bit of noise from Harry’s Bar & Grill until about 10pm

The view from the second story was very nice. The sun deck was the biggest benefit. We were able to walk to Bagel Time for good coffee and breakfast. Having a parking lot is a bonus in Cape May. The light above our balcony was a tad annoying in not being able to turn it off but the drapes were sufficient in keeping the light out. All in all it was a very nice experience.

We were on the 2nd floor and had a right hand view of the beach. We could see the water in the distance but due to the hill of beach grass, we were unable to see the waves breaking. This was fine for the price we paid in the off season. The staff was great. We entered the room through sliding glass doors. The security of the lock was not great. Super convenient to the beach and in a beautiful neighborhood. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Liked: Room spacious clean modern, Loved private patio by pool Harry Restaurant staff and food great. Check in disappointing. Arrived at 1pm offered me room early if I paid additional 50.00. Stood in many other resorts most staff friendly and if room available let me have it early without fee. It was 3:55pm when I returned to inquire. I was finally granted room. Check in at 4:00pm by my standard is very late especially if I am expected to vacate room by 11am during check out. Paid full price first night for use of less than 24 hrs. Observed plant and flowers dry in need of watering (neglected) Frontline staff could be warmer and friendlier. There were so many inn n hotels in the area we could choose. A smile and making clients feel welcome can make all the difference. Thank you.

I was told when I checked in that if I paid 50$ for early check in that I had the room till 12 the next day. When I went to get beach tags I was told I had to check out by 11. Very disappointed

We had a wonderful stay. We left our stuffed animal there and the staff was fantastic about finding him for us so we could pick him up the next day. They even sent us pictures of him “working” in the office and a note that he missed us. They really went above and beyond and made my daughter very very happy. I’d stay again any time.

Booked The Montreal for a short stay to visit my Coastie. It was extremely reasonably-priced, a 5-min drive to the USCG station, and pretty centrally located on Beach Ave. The front desk staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, especially Miss Diane, who helped me during a panic when I thought I lost my wedding ring while clearing snow from my car. I would definitely stay here again!

Went in February - really enjoyed our room. Quite comfortable with balcony overlooking the ocean and quiet beaches with no crowds. Nice rooftop deck with great views and amazing colors at sunset. Plenty of food options within a 2-minute drive or 15-minute walk, including a restaurant right by the hotel.

We always love coming to Cape May! Been coming to CM for a very long time. Stayed at many hotels and this is one of my favorites! Great location! Friendly staff, a restaurant and bar and liquor store attached and a great views from their sundeck. Wish the pool was open later. But beautiful sunset, saw strawberry moon setting, beautiful beach day! Coming back soon!!!

Beautiful property in a great location. Such friendly and knowledgeable staff. Harry’s Saturday night live music and crush drinks made for a fun Saturday evening without having to leave the property and also was able to enjoy the atmosphere while watching the sunset on the rooftop. Will definitely be staying again!
