Staff was friendly hotel was very clean and updated however we had to park on the street as there was no parking in the lot and every room should have one spot, the hotel needs to monitor that better maybe give the cars staying there a hanging permit for the length of their stay. I was with my elderly mother so I had to drop her off by the room and park on the street late at night and walk back to my room my self only complaint we had.

Outdoor pool lovely & clean but loungers old & immennsely uncomfortable. Indoor pool clean, indoor hot tub hot but not powerful. Towel issue is insane. Tiny, flimsy towel..1 per person & if u don't return, $20 fee. Rooms clean & housekeeping was efficient. Beds very small & uncomfortable. Bike rental-only 2hrs free then $15hr per person. Location inconvenient. U need the bike.

It is a great property for families, rain or shine. Activities for the kids each day along with pool bar and steel drums for the adults. Indoor pool was key during the hurricane conditions for the entire week.

It was great! I love that you get complimentary beach badges AND free lounge chairs and umbrella rentals. You can order food and drinks right on the beach or to the pool. It was beautifully well kept and clean and the staff were very friendly. Would def recommended and would stay again myself.

Excellent option for families! Convenient location to the beach and walking distance to all area attractions. Love the beach service, no need to pack towels or beach chairs. The pools were both fantastic! Will definitely return!

Love the pools that there are two of them one in one out I like the fact that you could order food from the restaurant there cause it was really good. I like the fact that it was across the street from the beach and that the location was excellent.

The rooms had a moldy smell that affected several family members, and required us to wash every item, including coats, that we had packed even though unworn. There were no working ice machines, and the front desk clerk to whom we went to inquire about getting ice was extremely rude and wouldn’t look up from her screen even though we were the only ones standing there to speak to her. We had many great memories from previous visits, but the conditions this time were not enjoyable.

Showed up to hotel room after check in, the room was in alright shape however the fire alarm battery was dead and alarm was beeping battery low it took about an hr an hr and a half to get that changed my wife went to shower and the wall was covered in pubic hair I went to the front desk they told us they would put a notice in to clean it In the morning we left for the day as we left called the front desk that they could clean the room with the supervisor, we returned 5 hrs later the shower wall was still covered with pubes . I was mad went to the front desk and made them change our room. It was a stressful stay as it was my wedding anniversary. Kinda of hard to set the mood with someone else’s pubic hairs all over the wall. Vacation ruined point blank

First time staying at this hotel, very good staff nice facilities, but the rooms need to be upgraded. A little outdated, although nice sized but little mold in the bathroom and one air conditioner in the window for the whole room is a little bit outdated. Although everything worked and the people were nice. Did not like my room‘s location. It was at the end of a ramp by an elevator on the ground floor and all we had was noise in the morning And up till 10 o’clock at night. But it wasn’t terrible. Would be nice if the pool wasn’t in the middle of a parking lot, but honestly, it wasn’t bad. Price is high. I would stay again because the pool was very nice and very clean although I’ll be looking for other locations for next year.

Highlights were nice, large indoor and outdoor pools, with a 1-ft kiddie pool section and plenty of seating, and a daily kid-friendly activity, like sand art and balloon animals. The main collection of shops and food choices ranged from a 10-25 minute walk or a short drive. Strolling along the beach every morning for an hour was pleasant. Negatives were the floor in our hotel room got very sandy (even sandy when we first arrived), most of the tv channels did not work, there was no AC in the arcade area, and the walkway outside our room was often blocked by the maid service, making it difficult to navigate with a stroller or luggage.

Beautiful hotel from the outside but could be better from the inside. The outside entry feels a bit motel like and isn’t great in the rain. Kids were running around yelling on the Sundeck at late hours. Curtains were broken and stained, looked like globs of toothpaste were stuck to them. Fridge was so noisy I had to shut it off to be able to sleep. Good luck finding parking on busy weeks.

The location and property were amazing. The room was beautiful too. Only complaint is you hear EVERYTHING. We could hear our neighbors coughing in the room next door. You heard everyone walk by your room outside. We heard an infant crying from the floor above all hours of the night as well as every foot step taken. This made it impossible to get a restful nights sleep.

Great location. The 2 story townhouse was clean, comfy with plenty of room to work and relax. Having 2 full baths and small kitchen came in handy. View of the ocean was a plus. Having a restaurant and bar on site was conveinant. We did have an issue with brown water on the day of departure however the front desk was very responsive.

Daily cleaning service early in the day almost made up for the room placement . Room was by the staircase and it was very loud . Doors constantly slammed at all hours . There should be lower fee pee night for those rooms on each floor. Overall room was nice . Difficult to get in and out of bed so close to the wall and no room for sleeping device but clean and nice view

We stayed on the middle level, the people above us, which apparently are owned units, were incredibly loud. When we called to have this addressed the front desk dismissed our complaint because they owned the units. Literally was like construction from 6am to noon. We were unhappy especially because of the price we paid and we were completely dismissed.

We had gone to Cape May for a baby moon. The staff is exceptional and the hotel is nice. I feel the breakfast at Hemingway’s was better then the dinner. The room was nice except the mantle when the tv is was crooked and needed to be leveled. The room was also aesthetically pleasing; however, the bed was beyond uncomfortable and my husband and I were up every 45 minutes because we couldn’t get comfortable. I debating leaning a day early due to the uncomfortableness of the bed but we would not receive a refund so we stayed.

Dining options in hotel and around are limited- There isn't a cafe for morning milk/coffee etc. 15min walk away there are options, but not suitable if you are traveling as a big group or with kids. the front desk staff has a lot of attitude! They rarely have a smile on their face and always seem annoyed, and don’t look welcoming for any questions.

I can sit here for hours and write about the kind and friendly staff that checked me in. I wish I captured the names of the young lady and her manager as they really made this an awesome trip for me and my Family. It started out poorly as when i checked in it seems Expedia allowed me to book a room for 5 when it technically only had 2 beds to sleep 4. This being my first vacation after going through some my wife dealt with some medical issues i really wanted to just have a nice getaway well the staff went above and beyond to get me in to the perfect room and it truly made a huge difference for us as we spent the week. Can't thank you all enough and sorry for not capturing your names. Great place will definitely choose you again if i am back in Cape may.

We came in for coast guard graduation and I called the hotel and asked if we would be able to check in at 3 pm. I was told “Absolutely “ when we arrived, we were told our rooms were not ready and it was 4 pm. We were attending the coast guard dinner and since we didn’t have a room ready, our family of 8 had to get dressed in the Wawa bathrooms. We spent 500 dollars and was severely angered that nobody in the whole hotel was concerned that people’s rooms were not ready. Will never come back to this hotel.

The hotel was clean in and out. Cape May, in general, was very clean and very nice. Very little trash on the streets, and it was bicycle and pedestrian friendly. Our biggest complaint was the price. For the season, we thought it was high. For a Sunday, it was 264.00, Monday thru Wed. it was 176.00, and Thursday was 214.00. Plus, each night had a resort fee. The other issue was cancelation options, which was a 30-day out. You could cancel if you did it 30 days in advance. We tried to cancel 2weeks out, and we were going to be charged 371.00 dollars. We also felt that the restaurants were kind of high. Breakfast ran us 42.00 to 48.00 for two people, which was a basic meal. We paid 3.50 for a small glass of juice, but the food was very well prepared. We did have a great experience with the lady at the gift shop located in the hotel.

This property is located in a perfect spot - REAL close to the beach (there are chairs/umbrellas you can use), and close to numerous restaurants. Very easy to walk to many places and they have bikes you can use as well. If something is a bit too far for walking ( the lighthouse is 3.5 miles away) a bike is the perfect option! The front-desk staff were all very nice. The only thing I would suggest is to have a towel ring in the bathroom for the handtowel! :-)

Hotel is not so close to Washington street, more quite. 15 minute walk, but you can also drive closer to where you want to go. Ideal for people who do not want to stay at a B&B and prefer a hotel feel.

The hotel is well positioned by the beach and has plenty of parking. As someone who travels extensively and always stays in upscale hotels I would say this isnt worth the money as there is nothing special about the property or the room. The attached restaurant had a rude bartender who looked miserable and due to him, my wife wanted to leave and go elsewhere to eat.

Lovely view of the ocean and sound of waves from the cozy upstairs bedroom and deck. The upstairs bedroom was very attractive and inviting. The downstairs area was serviceable but a little empty and oddly laid out. Loved having two floors and the kitchen had what was needed to be useable. So easy to walk to the beach and around Cape May! Some repairs are in order -- wallpaper peeling, bathroom doors were dented -- but I would stay here again. The restaurant in the hotel (Hemingway's) was overpriced and underwhelming; wouldn't go there again.

The fact that you can’t charge food or drinks and water at the beach to your room account was a little frustrating. The bed we had was so high I had a difficult time getting into it. The beach and pool were very delightful.

The hotel itself was amazing. Nestled right on the beach and we had a spectacular view. I would’ve loved bathrobes for the winter time since we came in the off season or some heads up that the onsite restaurant would be closed. That being said, the front desk staff Jenny and the other young woman with blonde hair were amazing! They went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice overnight trip. Thank you both for being fabulous!
