Wow July 4th long weekend stay - perfect motel! Quite clean adults only with a pool and beach access with chairs towels and umbrella at La Mer hotel on the beach 6 blocks away . We had a two bedroom two bathrooms living room dining room and kitchen with dishwasher and washer and dryer in a closet . Staff was amazing can’t say enough

We loved the spacious clean room and the bath was beautiful! The pool outside was clean and the staff very helpful. They also offer free umbrella, chairs, and 2 towels per room for the beach. Only downside was the parking was a bit tight, but we managed to find a spot each time we returned. Will come here again!

This is a great little out-of-the-way property - clean facilities and very nice pool/hot tub area. We really liked little sitting area right outside our room on the first floor. Easy to walk to restaurants and such. Would definitely stay here again!

It's a basic motel with a nice big saltwater pool and hot tub. It's nice enough. It's a 10 minute walk to everything. I'd go back!

Our room was upgraded to a Suite which was a very pleasant surprise… The hotel has beach rights with its sister resort, La Mer… This hotel was in walking distance and the beach was too! Valets set up your umbrella and chairs and you can order lunch there as well… The Beach Club is central to downtown so we didn’t drive at all.. Walked to our meals, beach and shopping! Will definitely visit again

Great staff -- very pleasant and helpful! Also, the pool and grounds were immaculate. However, our room was extremely damp at all times. Anything we left out (even unworn clothing) felt damp/wet after sitting in the room for any length of time. Used towels never dried. Desperately needed a dehumidifier. Also, those wet towels weren't replaced until we asked at the front desk for them to be refreshed. As far as amenities go, we LOVED the pool, however, the beverage vending machine was out of order the entire time we were there.

Liked everything! Lady was great at check in! Great staff. Perfect that the hot tub and pool were open and so clean. Kitchen was perfect and well stocked. Took a day however to learn the heating/ac and the operation of the cable.

While the room was generally clean, more attention needed to be focused on the shower. Found someone else's hair in the shower and soap on the shower wall. It is clear updating is occurring with the recent ownership change. Carpet needed to be replaced in Room 9. God forbid you have an issue if you arrive late. You have to check in at a different hotel, receive a key card, then present the key card to the front desk in the morning for a "real key". Unfortunately, all three key cards didn't work. After driving back & forth to the other hotel, they sent maintenance on his way home. He was able to open the door with his master key, but would not open the Front Office to get a key that worked. So once in the room, we couldn't leave until staff arrived at 9am the next day (unless we wanted to leave the door open and our belongings available for someone to steal) -- unacceptable! The staff at the front desk the next morning DID NOT CARE. Did not even offer an apology. So hopefully new management can fix these issues going forward.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location was close enough for us to walk everywhere we wanted to go (in fact we parked our car and didn't move it once the whole trip!), yet off the main strip of Beach Avenue so that it was peaceful and quiet. All staff we encountered were extremely sweet and helpful, the rooms were brand new looking and spotless, the bed and pillows were a dream, and the bathroom was gorgeous. The little kitchenette had more than we thought it would have and was a great addition and the pool area felt high end. Overall it was a 10/10 experience!

Loved my stay here! The bed was very comfortable… I wish the room had a closet, or a place to hang clothes. But the climate control was great, with a full fridge and stovetop. I would definitely recommend staying here, and may go back.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a beautiful rain shower. It was a last minute booking and my daughter and I were pleased with the motel. We particularly enjoyed that the hotel was connected with LaMer. We were able to go to the beach by Lamer and get complimentary towels, chairs and umbrella. I was a little disappointed with the fact that the room had no closet. My daughter and I had to figure out how to hang our dresses. All in all it was a nice vacation.

Very clean quiet and comfortable. AC did not take out humidity and there is no bathroom fan so it was really hard to sleep. Fairly quiet but did hear neighbors above walking around. Away from all the action but a nice walk to the beach.

The only thing I didn’t like was, we were got to the hotel early so we got lunch and went back to the hotel, we were allowed to sit at the pool, we did not have our swim suits on or had no place to change or go the a bathroom and they made us wait until exacy4:00 to get in the room.. that was not accommodating.

The Beach Club on Madison Avenue is a really lovely place to stay in Cape May. The staff at the reception were exceptionally friendly and efficient, and provided great local restaurant recommendations. The room was spotless, and the amenities were many. I will stay here again next time I'm in Cape May.

1st time visitor to this hotel. Rooms appear to have been renovated recently and was immaculate. It was very nicely decorated with a full complement of amenities such as microwave, refrigerator and dishes/silverware which was a nice surprise. Great location as well. Only idiosyncrasy was a front desk not staffed full time & opens at 11am which makes check out a little wonky. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

I booked this hotel not realizing it was six blocks off the beach, but as it was extremely foggy, it really didn’t matter…we would not have had an ocean view anywhere we stayed! This is a standard exterior entrance 2 story motel, and we were on the second floor. Parking was free and convenient, and the suite was great; a living room, fully appointed kitchenette with apartment sized refrigerator, 2 TVs, a great bathroom, and a king bedroom. It is in a quiet, safe neighborhood, and we had a very peaceful night. I would definitely book this hotel again. We have a small bungalow (which has not yet been de-winterized) on the Delaware Bay, and made this trip to drop off “stuff” at the house before we come down for the summer in May. It was a nice little respite, we visited a couple of our favorite restaurants in Cape May, and got a pre-season look at one of our favorite places on earth!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location was close enough for us to walk everywhere we wanted to go (in fact we parked our car and didn't move it once the whole trip!), yet off the main strip of Beach Avenue so that it was peaceful and quiet. All staff we encountered were extremely sweet and helpful, the rooms were brand new looking and spotless, the bed and pillows were a dream, and the bathroom was gorgeous. The little kitchenette had more than we thought it would have and was a great addition and the pool area felt high end. Overall it was a 10/10 experience!

Not close at all. We had to drive everywhere. They made it sound like it was near everything. We had to drive everywhere. It was very small and in the middle of a neighborhood. Very misleading. We only stayed one night and canceled the other two nights.

The room was fully updated and much nicer than a standard hotel room. The property is quiet but within a 15 minute walk of shopping, restaurants, and the beach. Great experience and value, would definitely stay again!

The Beach Club on Madison Ave was perfect. Close to all the surrounding sites and had a hot tub and pool to enjoy when you needed a break. Was able to walk to beach and breakfast. Would definitely stay again

One of the best stays for me and the man. The decor and comfort was top notch. And the location was on the money. Beach, restaurants and more were only 5 minutes away. This will be the hotel we stay when visiting Cape May!

Enjoyed our stay at the beach Club on Madison! Very clean and updated! Loved that it had a Kitchenette that was stocked. Location was a few blocks from the downtown mall and a few blocks from the beach. They had bikes onsite if you wanted to rent. They also offered Beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella for free. I would highly recommend! Lastly, they sent us a text daily making recommendations for activities/happenings going on that day! I thought it was a nice touch. Enjoy☀️

Our room was upgraded to a Suite which was a very pleasant surprise… The hotel has beach rights with its sister resort, La Mer… This hotel was in walking distance and the beach was too! Valets set up your umbrella and chairs and you can order lunch there as well… The Beach Club is central to downtown so we didn’t drive at all.. Walked to our meals, beach and shopping! Will definitely visit again

The Beach Club on Madison Avenue is a really lovely place to stay in Cape May. The staff at the reception were exceptionally friendly and efficient, and provided great local restaurant recommendations. The room was spotless, and the amenities were many. I will stay here again next time I'm in Cape May.

Place was within walking distance to beach, about 5 blocks. Had dinner at Harry's on the beach afterwards. Only complaint would be you had to walk 4-5 extra blocks along Beach to use their complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas.

Highly recommend. Clean modern rooms. Property is well maintained. Pool and hot tub were a plus. Reasonably priced. Adults only, ages 21+ allowed. 10 minute walk to restaurants, shops, beach.

The room was very clean, and the location was convenient for the price we paid. Just be warned that very bright lights shine outside the rooms at night, and the shutters were insufficient to block the light. It was impossible for us to sleep through the night. Come prepared with eye masks for sleeping. Otherwise, the accommodations were great!

The hotel is lovely and in a quiet part of Cape May. We had a standard room and were surprised at how well appointed it was. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The walk to the beach wasn’t too bad. Definitely recommend if you want to stay in a less congested area of Cape May.
